How to fix Prey app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Prey app on iPhone
Update Prey app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Prey iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Prey on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Prey network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Prey Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Prey not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Prey App
1. On android, goto Settings » Prey » click [Force Stop]

Update Prey to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Prey App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Prey » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Prey.

Fix Prey unable to contact server/ Prey internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Prey » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Prey » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
