I have really enjoyed utilizing PrayerNotes. It has helped me a lot to write down my prayers, and then hold to those prayers daily. I have trouble when I pray with my mind wandering. I have often journaled my prayers, but that is super time consuming. With the Prayer App, I am able to "journal" my prayer, and scripture that is applicable to the situation. This keeps my mind from wandering and helps me to stay focused on the Lord. The Olive Tree Bible App, Scripture Typer, along with the Prayer App are my three favorite apps. They keep me highly accountable in my spiritual growth and in my walk with God. I also highly recommend purchasing the Prayer app; for the cost, you cannot beat the amount of spiritual growth you will receive. Keep the oil in your lamps! When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us! We cannot receive the oil unless we are drawing close to the Lord everyday in prayer, reading and meditation on His Word, and listening to that still, small Voice. In the book Whisper, Mark Batterson makes the point that God is talking to us all the time. But if we don’t develop the ability to hear that still, small voice, the cares of the world drown Him out. Daily filling our lamps with His oil by prayer, meditation, and reading is what helps fine tune the ability to hear Him. In the days that we are living, WE NEED TO HEAR HIM!!!!!

I am so disappointed in PrayerNotes now and no longer recommend it. The free version used to have a reasonable limit on number of prayer requests so you could have the basic features and use PrayerNotes . I got a new phone and downloaded the current free version and they have made the number of prayer requests so few to force you to buy the paid version. This one may as well be called a “sample” and not an app. I don’t mind paying for additional features and expanded storage but when they have changed PrayerNotes like this I consider it deceitful and greedy.

It showed as free, so I downloaded it. Great, looked like the best out there for what I was looking for. Well I put in a couple requests and then it said limit exceeded and I’d have to pay for more. I think max was 5 that I put. Promptly deleted it. If you want to be a paid app, be a paid app. I would have still looked at it and considered paying. $6 is a little steep though in my opinion, but if it was what I wanted, fine. But there’s almost no use for the “free” version. Deceiving and it seems greedy. Not a super high tech looking app for this to be the amount it is.

I have been using the free portion on this ap for quite some time, just on my phone and not interfacing with anything. It was great to help stay focused on many issues, individuals and situations that I wanted to pray for and to stay focused. While I had been praying , I had not accessed the ap. The updated ap did not bring everything up in a way that I feel is usable and was not complete. Many items had been deleted and some had old information. The format is more detailed than the summary level which was great to prompt topics. To view previous items in app purchases must be done and not even sure they’re there. I understand that everything is tied to profits and that’s too bad. Why 2 stars only because I used it so long and maybe I just don’t see all the features without all the In ap purchases .

Great app and enjoyed using it but all of a sudden I got a “prayers exceed limit so you need to pay” notice. What? There was no indication in the description or anywhere in PrayerNotes that you needed to pay if you wanted to list more than 6 prayers. Wish I had known that up front. I might have been willing to pay the $6 for the full version but I feel a little deceived so I will be finding something else to download.

PrayerNotes is great. Great organization and I love the way you can check mark the prayers and it puts it in answered section. The only thing I wish you could add onto the answered prayer a gratitude prayer below it. Otherwise everything else is excellent thank you so much for PrayerNotes! Sending my prayer and positive vibes to the makers and everyone that uses it!

PrayerNotes was great until…ADS! It is a app that has ads. It didn’t show any ads on the pictures for PrayerNotes . I would have gave it a five star, but the ads are annoying. If you want ads, buy it, if you don’t want ads, then don’t buy it! Do something else.

PrayerNotes works great for iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch. It syncs across all devices so you can pray without ceasing seamlessly.

One Important Feature that is missing:

Please allow user to touch the daily prayer request to make it disappear from the day’s list so that user knows it has already been prayed for.

This would be a great feature on the Apple Watch. I have at least 30+ prayers on my daily list to view on my Apple Watch making it so cluttered; and it would be nice to see that list get smaller as you complete a prayer for each praise and prayer request.

I’ve been using PrayerNotes for my prayers for years, and I did buy PrayerNotes so I don't have the ads at the bottom which was very distracting. The problem I have is that I haven’t been able to load any of the updates for years. I went into the Apple store & they looked into it & said it’s not on their end & to reach out to PrayerNotes developer of PrayerNotes. I did that too & they responded it’s not on their end. So there is an issue here & I’d love to have the latest updated version since I paid for PrayerNotes . Will look into other apps but will keep using this old version until then I guess.

I appreciate PrayerNotes, praying always seemed as if they were lost, now I can look at my prayers, and know that they are all being taken care of by God. It also helps me be able to pray, sometimes words don’t come as easily. I know he hears me, and I can look back at my prayers and see the ones he has answered, and relax in the knowledge that his will be done.

I’ve recommended this to friends countless times. It is very inspiring to write your prayer and check it off when it’s answered. Now I have pages and pages of answered prayers which built my face. Also the feature which allows you to download and save your prayers, and answers is awesome!

What I appreciate most about having a record of some specific prayers is it’s great to be able to recount the blessings of answered prayer, knowing for sure what you prayed for, and how God specifically answered. It’s a great faith builder to have evidence that God is listening! It reminds me of how David referenced his previous victories to encourage himself in the Lord to believe for victories yet to come: “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he has taunted the armies of the living God (‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17:36‬ ‭NASB‬‬)”. Now I’m ready for battle and can continue in the confidence God gives through answered prayers!

I enjoy seeing a list of the things I’m praying over. Then updating them with answers and/or more prayer over that person. It’s encouraging to see the answered prayers list and what I was praying over a year ago. I type in the bullet points and spend more time in prayer but it allows me a quick glance at what’s going on compared to flipping through pages in a journal.

This is a great way to organize and schedule prayers. Also perfect for tracking the answers as they are given. A great app for redeeming the phone that has so consumed our modern lives. Satan would love to use technology to distract us from the battle. But PrayerNotes takes the phone back as a weapon for the Christian soldier. I love it!!!

I have been looking for something like this for a while. Glad I stumbled on this. It helps in this digital age to be able to have one’s prayer requests abs journal in the same place. I would love to be able to get checkboxes in the request boxes though. But really like it. Totally recommend

Exactly what I needed. I don’t mind paying $4.99. It is well worth it. I especially like that it is not too “busy”. Lots of prayer apps have too much & not what I need. This one is nice and simple. Very user friendly. I also like being able to share my database across devices. Thank you. Very classy. 👍

I have been using it for about 3 years to record prayer requests and answers. It helps me to be more diligent in praying for others. I highly recommend.

I do have a suggestion for a future enhancement: would love the ability to sort the requests alphabetically within a group or sort the requests/answers by date. Currently when I add requests, I have to manually reorder them to arrange in alphabetical order.

I i have had many big situations in my life that I can’t find a way to proses. And with PrayerNotes, I found that I can can process and deal with them in a way that I like. PrayerNotes also doesn’t give many ads and has a lot of ways to jot stuff down.

If you are serious about your relationship with God, and you actually have a passion to walk with him instead of living for the world and its empty promises, it’s critical that you take some initiative (free will) and discipline yourself for the sake of Godliness. That means reading and studying and memorizing the Word of God. It also means prayer and meditation. It means pursuing Christ with all your heart, mind, and soul. Writing down your requests to God and journaling have tremendous value in facilitating all of these admirable goals, and PrayerNotes is the best app I’ve ever seen and used. It’s wonderful, and I thank God for it and for those who designed it.

After an online search and comparison of prayer apps, I chose this one - and I'm glad I did! It's intuitive and easy to use, and a perfect reminder and companion for my prayers. I love being able to add notes and Scripture quotes to individual prayer entries. I also like that it's easy to save to iCloud.
