I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying.
There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that RunPee is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc.

I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

This is one of those apps that should be a staple on every movie-watcher’s phone (so, basically, every phone). It provides very useful and concise information without risk of exposing you to spoilers. Worth every penny (for the value of what you get out of RunPee, the price is far better than fair - and they provide very flexible options for any type of user).

I just updated to the most recent version of RunPee , which was described as a complete overhaul of the previous versions. IMO, the user interface is now even easier to navigate and I can see that no sacrifices were made to quality or performance. Hats off to all involved with this project! I’ve had RunPee for several years, but I don’t think I created an account until ‘20. I will be a fan for life, I highly recommend 😊 🙌👏🙌

I never see a movie without using RunPee anymore. It tells you when you can safely take bathroom breaks without missing something essential (and summarizes the part you missed. Especially for Marvel movies, it FANTASTICALLY tells you how many extra scene to expect, how long you have to wait, or if there are none! They’ve also recently included content warnings (a recent movie had a needle see that I could shut my eyes for, or could have left during)!!! Amazing app!! Please support them by purchasing coins because this truly is an AWESOME app!

Full disclosure: I don’t use the “alerts” function, I just go off of their script queues to know when to go.

By and far best investment Ive made. I used to drive my husband nuts because Id be a fidgeting mess the last half hour of the movie trying not to miss important parts. Now I just turn RunPee on and *bam* I can actually focus on the movie the whole time. Even puts alerts to my watch so even better. Also I can guarentee all the 5 star reviews arent fake as one person accused - its just that so many of us movie-goers had the same problem and this fixed it. Yes, it is paid but jeeze its expensive to keep watching movies and updating an app for every movie. And if you read more about the creator he mentions he has several people contributing - so yeah its paid but omg worth every cent. 10/10

I had a friend tell me about RunPee several years ago and once I tried it I was in love. I love to have a soda and popcorn or snack when I watch a movie - but that also means I can’t make it through the movie without having to leave to go pee. RunPee not only tells you the best time to leave to go pee, but how long you have, a brief synopsis of what you will miss and a couple other pee times where you will miss less. It also tells you if there are extra scenes after the movie. I think this is the first review i have done for an app - because i love it so much and wanted to share so others can enjoy it too.

Run pee is the best app for people who find themselves needing to pee a lot but also not wanting to miss any action. RunPee gives you the best times to use the bathroom during a movie while also telling you when to leave and which lines to listen for! It not only gives you the time you should go pee, but it also explains to you what is happening during the break. I helped I use RunPee every time I go to the movies now. My god father recommended RunPee to 5 years ago and it’s been in my phone ever since! Highly recommended.

I’m a huge movie fan, and RunPee is what I’ve always needed! I hate guessing when the best time to “run pee”, and then trying to figure out what I’ve missed. Or, timing when I can have a drink so I don’t leave during an important scene. I love and appreciate the vibration mode, the quick summary of the scene, and the timed “pee run”! Thank you to the whole Run Pee family for making my movie experience that much better! I jokingly tell my friends and family this is the best app for people with small bladders, but it’s useful to everyone!

I’m the person that can NEVER watch an entire movie without having to pee. RunPee honestly is a lifesaver. I’ve found their recommended pee times to always be pretty good in terms of picking the best time to leave the theater, and they’re very detailed on what cues to look out for to let you know when to leave.

This is a very small app run by a few people, so the fact that it has a free version is incredible. I’m totally willing to watch a 30 second ad to help them out.

I’ve used this app since March 2013 and use it every time I go to the movies. Primarily for the “anything after” feature to let me know if I should sit through the end credits. The peetimes feature is great also. The e-mails and newsletters from Dan, the this app CEO, over the years have given me great insight on how much he and his team care about providing a great service for subscribers. So when the opportunity came to purchase the Infinity Coin arose, I bought it. Worth every penny and I’m happy to support.

As an avid movie goer RunPee saves me the frustration of worrying about enjoying my soda and popcorn. Never miss any of the movie. Kept up to date so when I go today to see a new release, the info is already there. They listen to users and are always updating it to make it even better. Best app. Don't leave home without it. And support is amazing! Love RunPee so much, I bought the Infinity coin. This is a family-owned business, so feel good about supporting them.

Going to the movies is a fun experience, but drinking a 96oz soda has its side effects halfway through a 2h 45min movie. Enter Peetime, which tells you the best time to ditch out for a minute or two, whether it’s to refill your popcorn or refund your soda.

On top of that, it has simple reviews and information on the latest movies, it’s more useful than IMDB and AMC’s apps combined.

Great app that has been around forever and works perfectly. I bought the infinity pee coin and it’s so worth it. The timer is a great feature and they are really quick to add a movie when it comes out, which I so appreciate. They cover almost all movies, even obscure ones.

The peetimes are always great recommendations, and I love that I can read the summary on my way back to the movie. They also always have post-credits scene information, so you know if you should wait.l around.

LOVE RunPee. No more missing the good parts. All the added new features with the new update. are great.👍🏽 The timer that lets you know 30 seconds before this app private alarm goes off. Brilliant. A must-have, if you go to the movies a lot.

Only issue is, I usually see new movies Thursday night and a good portion of the times there are no pee times in RunPee yet. I guess that’s what I get for seeing the movie opening night.

I’ve been using this app for years now and the pee times are great, and honestly RunPee is worthwhile just to find out if there’s an after credits scene for a movie.

I see at least 50 movies every year, and my closest theater serves food and drinks to your seat. I DEFINITELY need/use RunPee. The other reviews can cover how great RunPee is, but I want to talk about the Infinity Peecoin. While the developers have made sure that you can always use RunPee for free by getting a peecoin for a movie by watching an advertisement, and have even gone the extra step to make it easy to "bank" your advertisement watching peecoins for future use, you can also purchase an Infinity Peecoin. With the Infinity Peecoin, you never have to watch an advertisement, can use it forever, and can contribute to these people's movie habit. As much as I appreciate it, the people who made RunPee are truly crazy. They manage to GO to almost every movie the day it comes out or BEFORE, spend their time thinking about what parts you can miss, AND for how long (while giving you a summary of what's happening while you are away) without missing any good parts! SO MUCH EFFORT on their part to make something amazing & then make sure you can have the benefits for FREE with a minimum of inconvenience- these are MY kind of crazy people, and like to support that, so I got an Infinity Peecoin. Now I'm advertisement free AND for what I paid ONE of these crazy people will go and review ONE additional movie this year.

As an older gent with old guy plumbing it’s typical to get up from a movie two to three times to pee. RunPee is awesome for allowing me to do that and not miss critical parts of a movie. Each “pee time” will give a synopsis of what you missed and make sure are kept in the loop. RunPee also gives a lot supporting information like ratings and if there is extended scenes or anything unusual after the end of the movie. I really like the “Running Late?” section where it gives a brief explanation of the first three minutes. You will sinc the timer to the movie at the beginning and get silent alerts 1 minute before it’s time to run pee. It’s easy.
There is much more information to make RunPee your new favorite when it comes to going to the movies.
Nothing is for “free”.... sort of. You need a “pee coin” for each movie and to get a pee coin you can watch an add. I did that for quit a while, got tired of it and bought an “infinity” pee coin for $20. I am glad I did. I didn’t always have time to watch the ads and will no longer need to.
I highly recommend RunPee to people who like to go to the movie. If not for telling you the best time to go, but also the loads of other information that is included for each movie.

RunPee has an overall rating of 3.8 stars out of 5. Yet when you look at all of the newest reviews, there’s a massive string of them that are all 5 stars. That should tell you that something’s fishy. I believe that the developer is paying to have, or submitting fake positive reviews themselves ever since they changed the payment format of RunPee. Just read the titles of all of the most recent reviews. Never in all my years using RunPee Store have I ever seen so many review titles that absolutely gush over an app like these do, one after another after another. The reviews themselves are just as fake sounding and many just so happen to encourage users to buy the lifetime coin option. We used to have to watch one add to use RunPee, but now are forced to buy virtual coins with real money for every movie we want to look at. Or watch ads to earn coins, but it all requires giving them our email, which they more than likely sell to other advertisers, resulting in an inbox full of spam. I’ve known developers to use fake reviews before, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one go as far as this one. I rarely go to the bathroom during a movie in the theater, so I didn’t use this for that, but did use it to check for scenes after the credits so we didn’t waste our time waiting. Even so, I always thought the whole concept of RunPee was a great idea. But I refuse to support such crooked behavior from a dev. APP UNINSTALLED!

All of us need to support developers like this one. I feel like I have been using RunPee since it was released, and have always enjoyed it. It’s truly one of the original mobile apps created to seriously improve a specific part of your life. Today, I finally got to see their customer service in action and I can only say...wow. After seeing “Toy Story 4” on opening day, I started to submit a quick correction to one of the Peetimes. It was a small mistake and anyone watching the movie could have understood the Peetime’s cue even without the correction. Still, RunPee is been so good to me so I wanted to be good to it. However, by the time I left the theater and tried to submit the change, I noticed they had already corrected it. I sent them an email telling them how impressed I was that they stay so punctual with corrections. To my surprise, I got a personal response from none other than RunPee ’s creator thanking me for my attempted correction. AND he rewarded me with a few Peecoins to say thanks. For someone who cares more about customer service than a lot of things, I was further impressed by an app that was already a favorite. Thanks again, Dan!

Let’s start with the fact that if you’re looking for an app like this, chances are good that you have a medical issue or you are simply of a certain age. That certainly applies to me. I don’t know if the developer knew what success of RunPee was going to mean for him but they’ve achieved it and they continue to follow through. All of the detailed movie information is there as soon as a film opens and with lots of detail, not only picking spots where you can slip away but also synopses, credit info and so on. What more could you ask for? The fact that the continuous supply of new information has caused long time users to view an ad here and there or much more practically, purchase the infinite pee coin is a small thing to ask for what you get and why you continue to use RunPee . For those of you who don’t like investing a bit of your time or what amounts to the cost of a few movie tickets and then leave a negative review implying that something is fishy, you should be ashamed. Great app. Always has been. Worth the money. Get it now. You will appreciate your decision each time you use it.

I use RunPee every time we go to a movie, not for pee breaks, but for popcorn refills. I’m amazed that just about every movie we go to is in RunPee (our favorite reclining seat theater movies anyway). Tells you when is a good time to step out and It has a quick re-cap of what you’re missing. Also tells you if there is anything to stick around for during/after the credits. It tells you what line to listen for as your cue to leave. I always read this ahead of time because when my phone goes to sleep the timer stops. I could probably fix this in the settings, but knowing the approx time of the break and what line to listen for works fine for me. I bought the infinite pee coin (and I’m pretty cheap when it comes to paying for apps) because I didn’t like having to watch an ad to get a pee coin every time. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it. I saw someone thinks the positive reviews are fake, this one isn’t, but I will say RunPee people did email me asking me to make a review. There is more to RunPee , like reviews, but I mainly use it for “pee” times and credit info.

I cannot tell you how wonderful this app is. I can’t imagine going to the movies without this app, because I know I’m going to need to run sometime, and this not only tells me when, it tells me what I’m missing while I’m gone. You can also (for free!) find out if it’s worth staying through the credits for an extra scene. I know it mainly only does one thing, but it does it SO WELL, and there are humans behind it doing all the research.

There was a time they were doing ads on every open, but that was so annoying. I wanted to open movie info when I’m at the theater, not look at an ad. The new method of letting you watch ads at home in advance makes so much more sense, and if you do decide to pay cash it’s 10 cents per movie, I think. $1 for 10. Pretty reasonable to me.

Anyway, I love RunPee so much I paid for the lifetime subscription as soon as it was offered, just to support the developers. Do give it a shot (first movie’s free!) - if you need RunPee (or your children do, or the person you’re at the theater with...), it’s priceless.

As with many apps, this app started out free, and it was one of the most highly rated apps in the Store. But, of course, that’s not exactly a sustainable business model. When they started to ask for money or insert optional ads, all of a sudden the reviews went downhill. That’s just not right.

I have no relation to the apps or developers, but I for one have no problem paying for the apps and services I find useful, and this is one of them. I rarely would take the time to review, but yes, the developers have asked Infinity PeeCoin users to review it, since we clearly understand the value. And they wouldn’t have to be asking if it weren’t for all the negative reviews from people who got upset at no longer getting something for nothing.

RunPee is just as good as it has always been, and better in fact, as they keep adding new features. I especially like the pre-movie expectations compared to the post-viewing review.

I have been using RunPee for a few years now, mainly for the “Anything After?” feature. I have used a few apps in the past for this, but none of them were as up to date and detailed as this app!

I was concerned when they started talking about “PeeCoins”, but they have provided several options for people to either view ads, use In App Purchase to skip viewing ads, or even pay a one-time fee to skip ads all together, which is what I did. Just considering the time and effort that goes into paying for, watching, and documenting the details of each movie, all the way through to the extras at the end of the credits, it is well worth the ads, or the small charge for credits not to watch the ads. They even allow you to watch ads and bank credits whenever you want so you don’t have to wait to watch an ad before your movie.

This is a great app, and a wonderful service - please keep it up!

I’m an older woman, and when RunPee came out, I wondered, “Where have you been all my life?” I don’t go to that many movies, but just knowing that I can find out the best times to take a bathroom break makes paying for RunPee worth it, whether by paying for a (lifetime) infinity coin or by watching advertisements. (And how cool is it that you get to choose when to watch the ads? You can view a bunch in advance and earn a stash of virtual coins to use later.) The additional features, such as reading the details of extra scenes that may run in the credits, are just gravy for me. Also, I really appreciate the efforts the developer has made to stay in contact with his users. Of the developers of the 100+ apps I have on the phone, Dan is the only one who has ever kept in touch by communicating personally with me. I feel as if I’ve been a part of the this app team since the beginning. I don’t know about you, but for me, in this day and age, that’s special!

I have been a LONG time user of run peetime. Like almost since the beginning. And in the beginning the people at peetime where humble and just beginning and made an app that was simple and useful. THEN came the greed. It started with guilt inducing announcements to us about the huge cost associated with the service and then justifications for new advertising and wait screens. (Appropriately about bladder control medication!!) It all seemed bearable until the pee coins came along or whatever they are called! I mean seriously!!!! Now u have to buy coins to get times or some crazy thing and it is just too dang complicated. What I need, and I think anyone really needs is a simple recommendation of a slow moment in the Movie that u can miss!!! The “anything after the credits” thing was really the only thing I actually used and now that’s even messed up. The people at pee time can’t even agree on what “something during the credits” even is now a days!!
Anyway, I’m done with it. Iv carried RunPee for years and have finally given up. I think what is needed is a crowd sourced app with simple “pee time” recommendations and advice on after credits scenes. Simple!

I use it EVERY time I go to a movie. Being able to “go” and get an excellent synopsis of what is going on while you are away really makes a movie more enjoyable, plus I love knowing if there is anything worth seeing during or after the credits. The reviewers also give a very useful review for many of the movies & I find the reviews right on the mark.
There had been a lot of chatter about the new peecoin system. You get what you PAY for. Yes I bought RunPee several years ago - don’t remember what I paid for it but it was very inexpensive. Why do ppl expect that you get forever access to new information for free?? The reviewers must pay to watch the movies with no additional compensation EVER?! I like to be compensated for the work that I do & certainly don’t mind paying someone to provide a service to me. You don’t pay or watch ads- you don't get the information. Simple.

I won't give it 1*, because I do use it and it comes in handy for knowing if there is a scene after the end credits. However, like others I paid for RunPee. There is a reasonable expectation in paying for an app that it won't shove ads down your throat (locking RunPee until ads have run). The idea of trying to get a subscription fee out of me after I already paid for RunPee ? Laughable. These people do NOT know how to monetize what they have and are forcing users to suffer through their hamfisted experiments.

UPDATED: Now it is 1*. Initially you paid for RunPee and got the service, as any reasonable person would expect. Then they placed barrier ads you were forced to watch before accessing the ad, which felt like something you do on a free version of a pay app, not the full version. Now they have a “token” system, hiding the service you already paid for and forcing you to jump through ad hoops just to access it. They have done uncorrectable damage to RunPee owners and will not recover. This is bound to fail now and deserves to.

I’ve been using RunPee for years now and it’s hands down one of the most useful apps outside of my financial, health, or shopping apps. To other longtime users that are complaining about the recent change in their model, get real! Paying $20 for unlimited this app times is well worth it.

I’m glad someone came up with this idea. It’s brilliant. It’s like the cellphone itself, I don’t know how life was before it existed.

I go to the movies quite often, and I usually have a couple beers if the theater serves alcohol or I have a couple drinks before I go. So, inevitably I have to use the restroom at some point. I’m usually never gone as long as the pee break, but I love that RunPee tells me how long I have and what happens while I’m gone. I also love that it tells me if there’s anything after the credits.

This new purchase model was a bit annoying, however after understanding what is involved I get it. These times don’t just magically appear. People have to actually go to every film watch it, review it and figure out the best time to run to the head. This is the only app that gets it right, if you tried the other ones you know. And let’s face it some of this movies are real stinkers too. They see these and review them too.
Bottom line is that this is the best app to do what it does, I use it at every movie and have for years. The cost for all this use is really minimal, if you take everything into consideration. If you use RunPee and value it, you should support the developers. And no I don’t work for them and I paid for the Infinite pee times myself.
