I've played TexasHoldemPoker for years & enjoy the competition. But I've had two issues with Wagner support & they will not correct any mistakes made by their server. Players level up by playing and I was a Level 12. During a "server maintenance" my level was changed to level 7. I believe this was due to multiple accounts under the same "nickname". I contacted support & their response was "levels can't be changed". Well, I know mine was because I play almost daily. Otherwise fun game & nice players. Word of advice: do not log in using Facebook or real name. There are stalkers on all internet apps

Able to type this. Stay away from TexasHoldemPoker is the best piece of advice I can give any of you. They will cheat, and that’s an understatement. When they send in the henchman, you don’t have a chance. Seen it happen with my own eyes. If your not spending enough money to suit their taste, they will lock you out of your account or do whatever it takes to get you out of the way. After I bought chips and played for quite a few hours and was definitely ahead, they had the henchmen on me. Wouldn’t have believed this had I not seen it with my own eyes. Unbelievable. When I went to log back in they said the password was incorrect. I new exactly what password I used. I hit forgot password. They said they emailed one to my email. They didn’t. Basically locked me out of my account. These people who run these things need to be in jail

Anybody who rates TexasHoldemPoker three star and above has no idea what real poker is. I’ve been playing poker for over 20 years, some professional with good results. I’ve played many poker apps as well. Of any poker app, I've never seen so much BS. I just completed 50 five-person Sit & Go tournaments and only won four (8%). On other apps I have 28%+ win record in such tournaments. I’ve never seen so many four of a kind and full houses hit on the river. It’s truly amazing and statistically not realistic. Poker King clearly caters to players who pay. I highly recommend staying away from TexasHoldemPoker. If you play understand you'll get screwed unless you pay, but I recommend taking your money elsewhere regardless.

If you want to learn real poker this is definitely not the place. If you're looking to waste your time with a bunch of players who don't care, or have an advantage because they pay this is TexasHoldemPoker .

To try and be positive, TexasHoldemPoker does have a simpler and cleaner Interface with less gimmicks compared to other poker apps, but that doesn’t make up for the statistical BS.

This game is great except for one aspect. The way the game splits the post for multiple winning hands based off of how many chips you bet. Some times even giving money to someone with a loosing hand. Two examples, I had 4 chips left in a tournament, I split the pot because we had a 9 in our hand and on the board but my other card was a queen his a 2, even tho I should’ve been the sole winner I only got somewhere around 140 chips and he 1.3k because he had bet a majority of the chips. The other example is I win with 2 pair only 100 chips in the bank and get 400 chips but someone who has a lot of money still had 1 pair and still got 100+ worth of chips, the only correlation I can make is they have significantly more chips and you fewer. It kind of ruins the vibe of the game sometimes it’s a great game otherwise, almost always have some sort of hand so you are constantly engaged. Fix the pot issue and its one of the best on the store

Just is all previous one star reviews state this game Bends the odds in favor of those who pay. In a test of over 20 tables and multiple hands I observed the players who won the most. The most wins came from players of the lowest level with 20K+
Coins. These players would bet unreasonably hi amounts pre-flop and the table would turn in their favor. I didn't tested this theory by purchasing 20K worth of coins within my first three hands I have one with my highest hand yet a straight flush. TexasHoldemPoker is a monument to mediocrity and the posers pretending like Vegas card sharks. Do not waste time on TexasHoldemPoker or any other poker app for that matter they are all rigged to get you to spend more money.
Calculating ev and equity is pointless when hundreds of kids with their parents credit cards are buying millions in coins so they can rid any competition with reckless abandon.

Used to be a decent app. Now it’s full of trolls and cyber bullies. They like to be shocking by using racial slurs, vulgar sexually explicit language and often the sexual remarks refer to children. People report them but the reports go largely ignored and there is never any action taken. The trolls over time have realized TexasHoldemPoker is a safe haven so they are prolific now. They are allowing men to post pics of their penises and refuse to take them down when reported. TexasHoldemPoker has been abandoned by the people who own it. I’ve reported TexasHoldemPoker’s lack of action against this type of behavior to TexasHoldemPoker Store and will continue to do so. The fact that support in TexasHoldemPoker ignores, thereby encourages this behavior, is in direct violation of App Store policy. I ask TexasHoldemPoker Store to to enforce their rules.

I have really enjoyed using TexasHoldemPoker. The free chips are always nice. And TexasHoldemPoker is easy to use. My biggest complaint is when two or more people go all in before the river, everyone at the table should be able to see all their hands while the cards play out, not just the winning hand. Or when you call someone on the river, a basic tenet of poker is you gotta "pay to see them", but if they lose, you don't get to see them. This would be a nice addition.

I swear this is the truth...I have had this game for years, but never have purchased chips. Several days ago I was playing and ultimately wound up with a three of a kind (8s). I had a pair, and a third 8 showed up on the River...well, as the game concluded, it said I lost because another player had a three of a kind with 8s (also had a pair of 8s). So I guess the deck had five 8s?

Today, I was playing and had a pair of 5s. I folded because I didn’t like the Flop, and watched a 5 show up on the board...well, again, the person who won the hand had a pair of 5s and wine the hand with 3 of a kind. So I guess the deck had five 5s.

Didn't really know how to play this particular game of poker and after a week It clicked. Very easy to use and teaches you hands and suits so you understand the principal. (Not throwing away your chips/money) I find myself as a decent player now and am excited to actually play some family and friends, knowing whether to call, check, raise or fold. It's now addicting and has different paces so your comfortable. Rarely do I rate a game or give it 5 stars at that however this is an exception. Props to poker team and its staff!

I love this game!! Out of all the games I've downloaded this one is the best. The interactive play mode is great and you can make friends and join their table too. You get money just for signing in each day (even if you don't play) and that is very fair. More fair than criminal case where if u level up the energy points are not added in (i.e. If you have 60 energy points and level up you only end up with 110 not 170 which would be fair :(

Best downloadable game I've ever played!

The graphics are crisp. It's easy to jump into a one table tournament at any time, and the ushering into stakes tables is very slick. Daily bonus chips are fair for the basic scale of play, and the "Feeling Lucky" slots option is an occasional fun diversion.

Improvements could be made by introducing larger "hub" style tournaments, where table winners go on to play other winners for a larger prize.

It's not WSOP, but it's not trying to be, so credit must be given where it is due. Overall, a good, solid game.

Brevity is the soul of wit. Therefore, I will be brief: Honestly if you are just looking to have some fun getting to know the basic rules of poker, knock yourself out. However, if you hope to practice with play money to get ready for the real deal, don't even bother. Don't expect this game to follow the real odds that you will face in real live poker. TexasHoldemPoker offers nothing but a series of algorithms to determine who gets the straight, flush, full house etc. So when you bet, you just pray that the computerized program decided that it was your turn to win. Sure it has some psychology into it as you are playing against real people, but again; it leaves much to be desired.

I have played more than 150K hands on this site. It is definitely entertaining. But I must warn you, these guys did not develop,this application to have a bunch of free money players riding their servers. I can attest, the cards will fall your way just long enough to get you hooked. Then, something triggers the 'we need to get paid' algorithm! It will not matter if you flop AAA; there will be someone who calls your solid bet to river you with a 2% hand. Not complaining, just ensuring that you potential card players understand, there is nothing like the real thing...and especially if the developer is motivated to get paid. For me, why didn't I think of that! ;)

Somehow the game logged me out. When I tried to login with my email and password it said invalid email or password which is not the case because I never changed either one. So I had to click forgot password and it said it would send me a reset password to my email & check my email. It Never got sent I put the request in six times and still no response and there’s no customer service support. You can email them but no one responds and I saw other feedback that they never got a response either so I’m unable to login and play with the coins that I’ve built up. This is unacceptable

If it were possible to give negative stars I would do so. This game favors people at tables, it's 100% luck and the odds of people getting the hands that this game gives them are astronomical. Countless times I've had 3 of a kind on the first flip with a pair in my hand and the other person calls my all in with only 1 pair and then magically gets the only 2 cards that can beat my hand to make a flush or straight or full house. This will happen to you at least 10 times within an a 30 minute window. So if you like unrealistic odds and impossible things happening almost every hand, then by all means this is the game for you.

Most people consider it "complaining" when you call it luck, but the odds of a real poker game having multiple "3 of a kinds" and a straight, all in one hand? Now that's just improbable and really breaks the game when you're always losing because it favors someone else, not to mention that if it disconnects randomly (which it has many times for me" you lose any money you had put into the tournament, losing all your money just because of their servers is BS, but if you like completely luck based games here's one for you! (Just don't think that because you get lucky in this game you're "good at poker" because you're horribly mistaken)

There are better free poker apps available. I wrote a five star review of TexasHoldemPoker a few years ago. Now with more experience playing this and other free poker apps I'm changing my review of TexasHoldemPoker to one star/terrible. There are issues with the user interface, receiving chips you have won, game locking up and no guarantee that cards are random (other free poker apps provide verification from an independent auditor that cards are random).

I've never bought any chips and I have over 5 million chips I've won so I'm not criticizing TexasHoldemPoker because I'm a sore loser - just trying to give an unbiased review after playing for over 70,000 hands.

If you love playing poker, without any lag or buffering, this is the game for you. This game is fast pace. the amount of time given to make a “move” is adequate. I play it all the time and probably spend about 20 dollars a month here. The chat feature is cool because it lets you communicate quickly with other player. If this game cost money to buy, even like 5 bucks, I would still buy it and play it.

Like all other poker apps I've tried, this one favors the big stack. I went all in having about 1k more than anyone else at the table and won 5 times in a row with flushes, straights and full houses. Statistically impossible. Just nonsense. It's a shame that real players can't even play online because others don't care about their chips since they get refilled automatically when they lose them all. Bluffing is foolish since no one cares and will call anything regardless of their hand. Skip online poker for real money and if you really need a fix, watch a movie or play a few hands really tight. Otherwise don't bother brother.

App claims randomness- but don’t believe that! Never seen so many bad beats on this - flopped sets over sets and rivered higher boats beating flopped or turned lower boats! Don’t think your trips are any good either - chances are someone else has same trips with a higher kicker or a boat! Maybe if you actually buy chips it’ll favor you more in these situations- but if you wanna play for free count on being victimized by bad beat after bad beat! I play live poker fairly frequently and I’ve seen as many bad beats here in about a week as I’ve seen over probably a few months of live games! I’ll be deleting TexasHoldemPoker off my phone ASAP!
