Ive lost my thrill

I enjoyed playing this game. Yes, past tense In fact, it’s the only game I’ve actually paid to keep playing. Specially the tournaments. I would give it a five star before when they had 50k tournaments, and there was A freebie every 24 hours on each tournament. That’s what made it even more fun. Rewards were awesome knowing how you can be low one minute and next thing you know you’re playing with the big brawlers, and the more I had the bigger my bets was great even if I was broke again 5 min later. THAT WAS A THRILL!!! . When I was low I’d go back to freebies, use those up and then I’d pay to keep playing and well worth it. And I have paid a good chunk of money on TexasHoldemPoker. But now that they eliminated all those goodies I have to pay to play a 250k tournament for a reward that is most likely going to be 375k and now it seems like I loose most of the time which is aggravating because before I use to get a thrill even when I lost. And in my personal opinion I feel like as TexasHoldemPoker is becoming more popular, it’s also looking greedy. It just doesn’t seem to be so entertaining anymore since I’m moody loosing. And I don’t consider myself a soar looser. Only on TexasHoldemPoker I have lately. I’m honestly thinking about deleting it. Lol. Which will make my heart ache. I hope the person that decided to make those changes gets fired cause I’m not the only one that feels that way. I hope it comes back to how it was.

Rename this game to “all in bets only”

So this is the second poker game I’ve tried of 4 listed. The deals are seemingly random which is nice. How ever, you have 2 kinds of people at the table when you play. 2 or more are just trading large amounts of chips back and forth constantly, forcing anyone else at the table to “all in” just to see the flop with a 75% chance you lose. Or people with low chips and they just all in till completely broke.

Now there is a catch 22 for this. This game has some stupid insurance policy enforced which makes it pay off to only “all in”, because there is a highly likely chance you will get some of your bet back for “all in” should you loose.

Devs. You have a solid game. You want to get people to spend money, stop allowing the chip trading (remove the social aspect and friends) and remove the option to “all in” bet before the flop. This allows people to atleast attempt to play poker. Also remove the insurance policy. If I only have 6k chips and you all in with 500k chips and I win, I should receive 506k chips. It’s not rocket science. If the other person is dumb enough to bet like that, then they should lose and learn. If you want to curve this, simply make it either A you have a max chip stack at the table, or B you can only max bet the max of the next highest stack at the table. If I have to report people constantly just to play poker because they spam chat and other crap, I’d rather not even play.

Great interface questionable practices.

I really love the interface and the chat friendly features. However, I’ve noticed ever since I bought chips, I’ve been consistency getting bad beats. It not just one day, it’s been happening now for a week consistently. And I’ll play for a few hours and still. While those doing constant all ins always hit. People going all in preflop on hands like 2 8 hit fulls and flushes. Who goes all in with millions pre flop on hands like 2 8? This happens way too often to me and many other players. They can tell you it’s fair shuffling (RNG) blah blah, but the company that verifies it is making money on the scam too. 😂This never happens at real poker tables. Very suspicious. Don’t tell me it’s fair, change it then I’ll change my review. Plus, the background of the tables are too blah. Maybe make environments..you know, like try to make it more appealing if your going to screw the players without lube accommodations. lol..Seriously tho, this game has great potential, but there defiantly is something odd going on. So to the readers, don’t buy chips unless you want to loose and get stuck in the loop of having to buy chips...if I’m wrong I will change my review, but they will have to prove it other then just telling everyone it’s “RNG certified with Random shuffling” nonsense when it’s clearly not evident..

Good game, questions

I think this game is fun, easy to use, and very reasonable. I mostly play under the Blackjack game system, despite playing poker more often. I believe previous comments show why chat rules need to be in place. I do not like that Boost poker more often has lower than the total paid in. Actually my $50k buy in almost always has the total winning as $75k, despite three players contributing the $150k pot. This could improve to at least be the true pot size or at the very least $100-$150k for 75% of the time.

Questions for developers: Why the new eye function? When are my cards actually shown? I would like specifics please. I have seen players cards who folded (last to fold against one other player) and never revealing the winner’s cards (likely bluffing). Is this new feature to encourage players to hand over login/Facebook to information to remove their cards being shown? And does this remove it?

Also, PLEASE fix the game to auto log out players who close TexasHoldemPoker . At the very least it could log them out after the first “circle” of time! This alone has made me want to stop playing regularly, and I play less frequently because of it!

If you love to play it's great.. but needs some improvements.

It's nice & offers a lot of games & ways to earn coins. What I find frustrating, when you first go on & all these offers are flashing at you, would be nice if you knew what the're for & not sure if it's free or cost $ a like those gifts or expressions. Example: what are the coins used for, their different than chips; which I have many. I looked it up under help & no explanation. There are more examples like that, but let's talk about the more important ones. When you try go play make sure you know which game your in, because it automatically takes you to a table- with your chips & immediately your playing; even if that's a mistake. I wanted poker & it kept taking me to Omaha. When your going to sit & go tourn & you want to play with a friend, there is no way to know if your going to same table; and again if you want to leave you already lost your buy in money.
Now on a positive note, chat tech support were very helpful & respond fairly quick. I have suggestions for fixing some of the issues but this isn't the forum.

Not Legit! Be aware!

I’ve been playing this game for years now and after losing not thousands, not millions, but billions.. I can finally say this game is rigged. Before you say “he’s just mad he lost his money”. Listen here. They claim they have a third party verify the algorithm they use for their random number generator, and it may be true, but the way the numbers are generated are not statistically the same as a real deck of cards. A 6 deck blackjack table cannot have more than 6 of any specific card. After sitting at a private table by myself I counted the cards to find that the deal had received 13, yes 13 9 of hearts. How is this possible with only a 6 or even 8 deck blackjack table? It’s not. So there is the first reason I refuse to let this go unnoticed.

Secondly, their support is trash. I’ve spent over 200 dollars to better myself on this game for them to take it instantly. Only for them to send a better deal of chips to me when I run out because they think my account will buy more. I’ve never seen my 21s get pushed so many times. I’ve never seen 8 low cards in a row for the deal to hit 21 so many times in my life.

Stay away from buying chips on this game because they will use you because they know/ think you will buy more in the future. Complete scam.

Poor Customer Service

I play this game with friends. It WAS fun. Now, I cannot return messages or chat. I have contacted customer service multiple times with pictures and video. I’ve done everything on my end that they told me to do and still no fix just more issues. *UPDATE - I continue to contact customer service regarding my inability to use messages and chat. Now, my ‘gifts’ don’t work either. I continue to lose the ability to connect with other players. This game was a great social outlet for me. I play for the fun of it and to have fun with other players. It is quickly becoming less and less fun. *UPDATE 2 - Issues continue. No chat. No messages. No gifts. Contacted customer service. They don’t care to fix it because it effects a limited number of players, yet, they continue to ask me to upgrade my review. I don’t have issues with any other apps.
*UPDATE 3 - TexasHoldemPoker continues to not allow me to message other players or chat without being kicked out of TexasHoldemPoker . It used to work fine. I contacted customer service multiple times. They say the same things over and over and nothing ever gets fixed, but want me to update my review - so I am. I’ve found other, better apps with better players.

BEWARE; Rigged, Unrealistic card hands, Sex Stockers

First off, TexasHoldemPoker allows players to give “gifts” which range from nice like a kiss, to down right mean items like a cockroach. Someone sent me a pig, so I said, “thank you, I love pigs” and the support team accused me of being racist! I asked for an explanation and was rejected saying “we have said all we are going to say”. Secondly, the cards you are dealt mean nothing because if they don’t want you to win, they will make sure that your stellar hand still gets trumped. there were 3 people at one table that all got a full house. You know what the odds are for that to actually happen? Plus, their algorithms are incorrect to where the higher “kicker” card has to share the pot. Lastly, I bought some chips and therefore what I do with my chips should be completely up to me. If I want to give them all away, then so be it..but no! TexasHoldemPoker bans you from giving others your chips calling you a cheat and will ban you and take back any chips you gave. And one more thing... TexasHoldemPoker has too many sexual stockers and rude, crude individuals who taunt at the tables and nothing is done about it. Reporting someone gets nowhere. By far the WORST app I have ever downloaded.

Fun way to pass the time during social distancing

I really like TexasHoldemPoker, and I’ve actually made a good friend here. We chat daily. I just hope the developers don’t have access to our back and forth. If they do, they are having a hell of a good time reading our correspondence! The game gets glitchy sometimes and full-houses to your straight seem to come out of nowhere, but if you’re a good fund manager, there’s now way that you shouldn’t be able to earn plenty of chips so that you never have to buy them. Tip: make sure you turn on the collection feature. It’s an effortless way to earn extra. Playing the weekly tournaments is also fun and profitable. I hate the animated balloon emojis, and some of the “gifts” people toss back and forth are tasteless. I just shut them off...

Unfair

I’m writing this because I just had a really terrible experience 2 times in a row on the same table. Usually when you have the same win as someone (like when you both have 2 pair) usually you split it as far as I’m concerned. But I was just playing and the pot was 20,000 dollars which was a lot taken that I only had 2,000 left. I was pretty confident I was going to win because I had 3 of a kind, all nines, so I put all of my money in. When it was over, some other person won but with the same hand that I had. She had a 9 and a 7 and I had a 9 and a 5. We both had a 3 pair of nines so wouldn’t we split it, even though the other card higher. And even in the next round, me and some other guy both had 2 pair and we split the money. I just think the game is unfair with how they split the money. ( also the little emojis are a little too much for me, I was playing a game and this girl had a profile picture and she was an elderly Indian woman or black woman and someone sent her the monkey emoji which is usually demeaning and I really didn’t like that AT ALL so please do something about it )

Fun but obviously rigged

Anyone who think this game doesn’t artificially give out cards so that you buy more chips…I have a bridge to sell you. You’ll get a flush but they’ll give someone else a slightly higher flush in hopes that you lose everything and buy more chips. Don’t even get me started on blackjack the most obvious scam of all. The “dealer” gets an 18+ hand literally every time and if you happen to get a 20 she’ll just draw a 21. This place should be shut down for illegal activity. I was at a table where 3 players all got flushes 3 rounds in a row. What are the chances of that actually happening? If that were to happen at a real casino an investigation for foul play would occur. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

They responded saying they were audited by a 3rd party they paid to audit them. Not buying that they did so in good faith. Just today someone got a straight 3 times in a row. Your algorithm is deeply flawed. Things like that can happen but they do not happen as frequently as they do in this game. Again, don’t waste your money on this scam it is not truly random.

Scan they steal your money!

TexasHoldemPoker was fun to play and I purchased chips. I spent 50$. I logged into my account today to find it “suspended” and so I reached out to support. They have given no proof or reason for my suspension, just said I violated rules, of which I don’t know how I play my game and would never do anything inappropriate. They stated that the security team believes I transferred chips to another user which is CRAZY because I have not done that and i feel violated! I have now lost my 50$ and my account for NO REASON and they were rude, refused to provide “proof”, and have arbitrarily decided to take my money and close my account for SOMETHING I DIDN’T DO! Absolutely crazy to me that Apple supports TexasHoldemPoker and promotes it when it quite literally steals people’s money and closes their accounts for NO REASON! I have seen far too many reviews that state the same thing mine does, TexasHoldemPoker clearly does not operate legally and shame on you Apple for supporting this! I only hope someone else is saved the trouble of what I’ve experienced! DO NOT USE TexasHoldemPoker IT IS A SCAM!

Cheat

As most people have stated, after playing in TexasHoldemPoker for over a year now, I have learned that game favors those that bet hard and bet every hand no matter what kind of hand they have and still win whether I have a better hand to start. I can win at Boost Poker or Blackjack but have lost over and over and over hundreds of times to the dumbest hands in the tournaments It so very discouraging that your algorithm allows this to happen over and over. I have also noticed that the player with the least chips normally wins and the player with the most chips losses. I got on TexasHoldemPoker at my wife’s suggestion and now she is losing as much as I do. It is completely incomprehensible that I can lose time after time after time. I know, you will say that the games are fair to all but you have joined the ranks of Zinga and the other apps that just became greedy instead of providing a fun experience for all consumers.

Scam!!! Do not download!!

The game is rigged! It I’ll take your money. Game starts off good and is enjoyable to begin with. It lets you win for a minute then it will take all your money. You play against Bots a lot. You only win if game wants you to win. I emailed support and they were rude and basically don’t care. The slots slow down and speed up and will change right before you win. Poker hands will most the time be lower suited hands very rare do you get face cards like everyone else. You’ll also notice that one player at the table wins 90% of the hands. They say cards are random and you’re playing against real people but anyone with common sense can tell after a few minutes of play that is 100% a lie! I’ve play for 6 months and game has gotten worst and worst everyday. I tried to work with them because I do like the setup of the game but when it’s no fun and they don’t care it’s time to move on. Try the free version first and don’t ever send them money you will regret it. I recommend choosing a different game something not developed by Kama Games.

Devs need to auto fold players

This game is well made BUT ruined by how excruciatingly slow it is to wait for players who leave TexasHoldemPoker to get kicked out of the table. There seems to be two timers in the game, one for automatically folding the player if he is still on TexasHoldemPoker and he doesn’t decide what to do in time, and another longer timer for kicking a player if they leave TexasHoldemPoker .

The problem is that if the player leaves TexasHoldemPoker then the player DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY FOLD for some reason! It’s like the game waits for the player to come back to give him a chance to make a decision EVEN IF THE AUTO FOLD TIMER IS EXCEEDED. Why?? Just auto fold the player but don’t kick him out of the table if he comes back and let him play the next hand!

If you are playing a 9 table game of poker then you will inevitably be waiting for hands to be folded because people leave TexasHoldemPoker far more often than actually playing poker. It’s ridiculous.

One of the best out of all of them

In my opinion this is definitely one of the best out of all the poker apps on TexasHoldemPoker Store. My other favorite is pokerstars lite, but this one is a bit more fancy and a little more helpful with the indicators for different hands. Pretty much every poker game on here has reviews saying it’s rigged. There’s no way I could say for sure, but rigging it could open up ways for people to learn and exploit it. So it’s probably not in their best interest. The chips seem reasonably priced, and I was able to get a good amount for about $3 during a sale.

There’s only two things that I’d really appreciate if they worked on
1) When people leave TexasHoldemPoker /go afk there seems to be two countdowns that go off until they auto fold their hand. I think it’d be nice to have something like a “very fast” mode where you time out after the first timer. About every game I get in has someone who’s away and you have to wait half a minute for their turn

2) the bet slider is really hard to work with like other people have said. I’m always hitting the wrong bets when I release my finger

Otherwise I’ve been having a lot of fun with TexasHoldemPoker!

Unfair advantages

This is a good running app. For the most part. One thing I noticed is people that have a couple hundred million chips tend to get better card win more hand on the flop and overall have an advantage....I get TexasHoldemPoker is about making money so if you spend money they make it more fun by giving you better chances. I am sure this is what’s happening cause every time someone gets flush after full house after straight, I click on their name and go figure they clearly have made purchases in TexasHoldemPoker . I haven’t purchased anything and I NEVER get a lucks flop and it seems whenever I’m betting against a guy with hundreds of millions of chips they ALWAYS get the flop, if I have 3 of a kind they get a straight, I have a straight they have a flush, I have a flush they have a full house, 3 time I had a full house and was beat by a 4 of a kind on the flop, and since I been playing TexasHoldemPoker for about a week that’s almost impossible to happen odds wise.

BEWARE - Pokerist is going downhill FAST

A couple months ago they took away the 1K poker buy in tables but said that’s ok we are giving you 1 free 50K buy in per day.
TODAY - February 8th - they took away the 50K buy in tables
There is only one reasonable explanation, both of these happened after Apple took them out of searches for both casino and poker. Their cards ARE NOT random- NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY - THEY ARE NOT RANDOM- That’s why Apple took them out of casino and poker searches and because of that they are losing money and are desperate for funds so they have eliminated the low buy in tables in an effort to make people bet more chips and eventually buy more chips

Very good game but missing some options

I lwant it let me to take screenshots, without asking me to save or share to Facebook. I also want to not see confirmation after Screenshot is saved to album. Those prompts are distracting I also want a new feature. I would like to have a button which can capture and save the current set as video. This button should be available at the end of each set so if the set is intrresting for me, I can save it as video to look at it later or show it to someone. I also noticed all tables are in high bet (100k) while until a day ago I was able to play on tables with min 20k. This happened after my total chips went above 30 million. Not sure if it's a bug or something else or its by design!!

Warning!

This game uses FAKE RNG (Random Numbers Generator). The game monopolies the cards and they make you lose even when you have perfect hands. They make you lose then their ad “buy chips with discount” comes up in a pop-up window to push you spend real money. This game is not really a poker game anymore. Because it’s not about your skills in poker and how to use your skills and experience to play the right hand. But it’s about how can you trick/play against the fake RNG and to not let it give you bad cards. And if you manage to trick the RNG and win, they put you on their list in the backend to intentionally give you only the lost cards time after time until there is no way to win. Because their fake RNG decides who wins in advance by playing the cards as they want it to be. Long story short, poker is a fun game. Relies on math, skills, and some luck. Unfortunately, this game is not poker. It more like a bingo than a poker game. Good luck.

Good game at first but nothing but interruptions from ads. It truelly wrecks the flow of the game as well as making it obvious they are not concerned about you as much as there ad revenue. Go someplace else.

Kama Games…. Initially, I played this platform (poker / blackjack) for fun. A person will purchase chips by which then, they are able to bet within any number of games they choose to play. My experience over the past few years I’ve been playing is that these games are designed to part you from your money. As I’ve played blackjack for years in live casinos including tournament play successfully, I can assure people these games are not legitimate. I have contacted Kama Games to mention that I believed the games to illegitimate and that they should do an accounting and correction to treat their customers in a fair and equitable manner to no avail. As for me, knowing I’m playing against a stacked deck, created a more challenging game for me, is no longer worth my time or aggravation. I would suggest people stay away from Kama Games…..good luck finding an honest platform to play on.

Suspect heavy bot usage in Texas hold em games, probably all the poker games. This done to keep you from winning too often and forcing you to buy more chips. Games appear to be rigged with the same cards showing up from game to game. Their random number generator is overriden often according to my observation. They are not transparent, and the games are rigged in order to pad their profits. After I lose all my chips, I wont be buying any more.

Been playing on this site for a few yrs an find that if you don't constantly spend money you never win consistently ...once a month if your lucky you get a good payout ...but when this site wants you to lose it's very consistent an not just with one game it's every game they offer ...so ready to find another that isn't just a huge rip off

Is it legit? Yes and no. I've been playing for more than five years and the conclusion I draw is that it is fixed at the upper end of the money. Here are my conclusions and the evidence I've gathered: 1. The chances of getting a full house in a legit game is .0014 or roughly 1 in a thousand, yet in Pokerist a full house appears more than 15 times that often. Why? Well because players with three of a kind or even a heavy 2 pain (AAKK) will bet heavily on them. Therefore the full house forces rapid turnover on high bets, sending the player to the store to buy more chips. 2. In a legit game, the board with pair roughly 19% of the time on the turn. As any poker player knows, board pairs are hand killers, substantially shifting the odds and leading to the results listed above (full house). In Pokerist, by my calculations, the board pairs more than 23% of the time, again forcing high bets to be in jeopardy. 3. Although I can not absolutely prove it. It does appear that "luck" favors high rollers in low pot games. This leads me to conclude that either a) the more you spend on chips the better your odds or b) there are "house" players (perhaps BOTS) in the mix of players and these players seem to catch more breaks that medium money players. I know some will say it's because they are better players, but the numbers are just too elevated to sustain this. Conclusion: So why do I play? and should you? First, the game is fun and a very large mix of people from around the world can exchange chitchat and jokes and little gifts. MY ADVICE: don't spend a lot of money on chips. A couple of bucks can get you a few thousand or ever a million. Then play in the low ante games. After all, no matter what the bets, the fun is in the playing and winning.

DO NOT play this app they are cheats you WILL lose

I've played on Pokerist for more than two years. It's been fun and enjoyable. However, my experience leads me to believe there are a number of not so legit things to look out for. First, I believe there may be house bots playing at some of the high stakes tables. Second, You will win more frequently at lower stakes tables but when you make the jump to higher stakes, you will lose more. I don't believe this is so because there are better players a these tables. You will find an excessive number of losses with a full house (I lost four times in a row with hands like 10s over queens). Now this does happen in real life, but it just seems to be more common than odds would allow. Third, rankings seem to be based on the number of chips you buy rather than what you win. Play, but be careful about getting into high stakes games

Yes, this game has to be rigged. I continually lose all my chips even with good hands, as someone else on the table has “just one card” higher to beat me. This happens consistently. ALSO, note that if you leave a game, note the flop or total cards on the table when you leave. When you rejoin hours or even a day later, you will resume the game with those same cards on the table. Weird, how can this be? AND, try playing this game at 3 a.m. Many of those same “players” are still at the table.

RNG is a fake, new account are always have a better winning chance due to promoting their game and at the end who’s winning ? Answer : Pokerist

My issue is I have always played pokerist.com via a Safari browser. However, some tabs would not open so I wanted to link my account to Chrome and requested a new password. No email was sent to me. So I logged back in via Safari and opened up a chat with support. They sent me instructions which I followed however these never worked as well. Went back and started a new chat with support and after several messages they suggested I use a different email account. I told them I did not want to do that but in the meantime they reset my password and now I cannot even log into the game with my old password! I tried today to contact support they wanted my email and user id. LOL, like I saved my user id number. Very frustrating to say the least.

Unfair practices. They have programs that run inside the system to win back any chips you may purchase, or bonus games you pay to play in. You will find yourself getting baited into betting on a very strong hand, only to get beat by an impossible card on the River. This happens way too often to be bad luck, and it’s never to a real person. Always a bot or programmed player that has no real interest in the game. BUYER BEWARE, they will take back everything you purchase in unfair practices.
