All in all, this is a pretty terrible app with terrible connection. Super limited in functionally, you can basically connect sometimes and mute yourself, but that’s it. Can’t see who all is in a meeting (you can see a few of the people), can’t share screen well, can’t mute others. It’s like they got a few customers, then stopped development, and happy just collecting a few bucks because big companies don’t change eco systems that fast.

Was told to download by the hospital my grandpa is in. They set up a call time, sent the link, and it never lets me join. I’ve continually tried to “join” for the last two hours, thinking too many people may be in at once, but it never goes through. Glitches or what — This is unacceptable. Especially when the hospital is using this app as their main form of contact for families and dying patients. Will never use or recommend Vidyo to anyone.

My counseling office uses Vidyo to meet with their clients. Everytime i try to log in to meet with my counselor it takes 20+ minutes to login and i give a least ten minutes ahead to login and stuff. I dont know if Vidyo developers need to give Vidyo an update or what but everyone is saying this works great for ios but it doesnt for mine. Very disappointed

The video stream is usually good quality, but I can’t see a list of names of people on the call (the button does nothing). I cannot share my screen, however I understand if the last point is a limitation of iOS. Would really appreciate an update including these features.

Not in sync with instructions given verbally: “Well send the email all you do is click on the numbered link” No such link appeared, needs improvement.

I’ve had to give up on this program multiple times due to “general failures”. Doximity video calls much easier for physician patient connections. Laptop interface is bad with very small window/font size. Seems like this is still in beta test mode.

Was sent this link to be able to do court over a video conference. Was never able to join. Kept saying joining and then would get no response. Can’t get connected to anything. Awful experience. Wasted 45 minutes trying to get connected

i am trying to sign in but I NEED A PORTAL!!! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???

Why would I want a separate on-screen keyboard from my usual one? And why would I want it to look like THAT? If Skype or Zoom is Windows 10, Vidyo is Windows 95.

Cant get anywhere on Vidyo. My kid’s doc asked me to download to use for telehealth Appt but as soon as I bring it up it asks for a Portal(!?) and it won’t let me do anything else!

Ever since new base cert applied in v 2.2.6, receive error message "unable to resolve server address" when entering portal FQDN. Cannot even get to login screen. Change base cert in iOS version!!!

It wouldn’t let me get into conferences that were unlocked. It loaded for 5 minutes and said; “unable to join locked conference’ FIX THIS PLEASE

It was awful, literally could not get past the first screen.

My iPad2 is now a telepresence endpoint! From my home office, I was able to connect with the room system at my company's office and got full HD. I was then able to join my laptop to the conference and the iPad was able to show both video streams beautifully - and this was over WiFi using my Optimum Online Internet service. I shared a PowerPoint presentation from my laptop and the hidden toolbar at the bottom of Vidyo popped up with a new button on it. When I tapped the button, the shared content popped up. I was able to pinch to zoom and slide to scroll the presentation on my screen and when I hit the X in the upper right of the shared presentation, it went into a strip at the bottom. I was then able to double tap to recall it.
This is very cool and is going to be a very handy tool. Important note though. If your employer doesn't already offer this app as a service in your organization like mine does, you will have to convince your IT guys to make that happen. If you work remotely as much as I do, believe me, it's well worthwhile.

I really like the this app system, as it allows everyone in our company to communicate via video.

I use the company's video room, my MacBook Air and my iPhone on the system. The only glitch is with the iPhone app. Every time I log off and then back on, my credentials get screwed up. The port (URL) info shows up in the password field, the password is now wrong, and my user name is wrong too. It only takes about 30 seconds to fix, cutting and pasting the info back where it belongs, but it's annoying. I'd guess it's an easy fix that they'll resolve soon.

Update to 1.2.1 still broke my login on iPhone 5. It will no longer allow me to login to my company this app services. I know my login information works because the same login works for iPad, Mac and PC. Please fix! It would say "Sever indicates no more licenses!" When I know I have licenses available at the server and the login works on other devices.

I wish there's a way to save legacy h.323 and sip numbers to address book. Also provide far end camera controls for legacy endpoints that allow it and for auto attendants that need transport control.

I use Vidyo daily for a solid, clean, clear video between my phone and a conference room.

The only issue is the iOS version for the iPhone 6s plus has a bug where the video rotates from landscape to portrait if a text message comes in. This happens for both ends of the conference call. Once the preview of the text message disappears the video flips back to landscape mode. This makes my video feed look incredibly unprofessional.

I love this app and use often. There are a few bugs in the most recent IOS version.

1. When I log in, there is often a gray bar where my name should be - to join my own room. Yet others who I have in my favorites are all listed. I have to exit fully out of this app and go in again, and usually I then appear correctly.

2. Many times an ear splitting screeching sound comes when joining a meeting from my ipad, even if I have the mic and speaker turned off. It is unbelievable the sound it makes. No idea why.

This is easily using the best technology available for mobile video. Scalable to large systems and capable of having thousands of users in one call, this is truly amazing technology. If you have used the extremely well reviewed Google Hangout you've used this technology already! It's finally here!

VidyoMobile utilizes the strengths of the Apple products like the Retina display and easy interface to connect you to multi-point video conferencing in high definition over 3G, 4G or Wifi. This application truly enables taking mobile collaboration to the next level for busy professionals.

The service is fantastic. However on the new ipad the camera won't zoom out. The resolution is 270x360 whereas the desktop style zoom and quality is 640x480. As a result you have to keep the ipad really far away which makes it hard to see the participants. If anything can be done to fix the zoom/optimal resolution problem, I would rate Vidyo 5 out of 5 stars.

this app is the best video conferencing solution around, and this great app is only part of the reason. I have tried most major competing solutions, from Cisco (CUPC, WebEx and Movi), LifeSize (Connections and ClearSea), and more. this app is the clear winner. Ease of use. The way it handles low bandwidth conditions. None of that annoying MCU-induced delay. (And cost.) Try it out!
