I just paid the annual fee assuming the rating I read was legit, it was complete garbage. First off the scanner takes auto pics as well as allows you to manually take pics however all of the pics you take of documents come out blurry no matter how clear they are in the camera. The actual scanned document is blurry. This is unacceptable when dealing with legal documents. I was using Cam scanner but they all of a sudden decided to start charging for their Pdf files.... I want my money back & I’ll be going right back to them! I can’t seem to find any contact info to get a hold of these jokers to get a refund so I may be out of my money, brilliant strategy in their part for making a quick buck! Don’t make the same mistake I did, go a different route PhotostoPDF is horrible

I wanted to try PhotostoPDF to see if it would work for homeschooling I was forced to purchase before I could do “free trial” it charged me and never record my free trial I was charged right away which ok fine I need one anyways well I opened PhotostoPDF pushed scan and screen is blank wouldn’t do anything then a pop up saying purchase pro to use well you did charge me almost $40 already and came out of my account I uninstalled and reinstalled still same thing then shut off phone and still same thing I called apple they are refunding me my money please use caution if you get PhotostoPDF

App is not at all what was advertised. During the free trial non of my documents were created as PDFs as advertised, the only thing you can do is take a photo, crop it and save it. There’s no “scanning” to it. Your document will just be a picture you took on your phone. And when you go to settings to cancel subscription there’s nothing that pops up in setting to cancel subscription. Terrible service/ app. I’ve seen better scanner apps that allowed you to do all of what it listed for free, but I figured why not try the “professional” scanner app. Waste of time

I tried every other way to contact PhotostoPDF with NO success.
I bought PhotostoPDF when I needed to scan some items. A year later I realized it was up for renewal. Since I learned you can scan with you free notes in your phone, I wanted to cancel. There is no place to cancel in the settings. Only renew. I called Apple they could not help. I emailed PhotostoPDF 2 times with no response. I PhotostoPDF is good but if you change your mind your screwed.

This is very easy and convenient to use. Especially when my resources are extremely limited.

I use for single scans here and there. Excellent quality and quick. Highly recommend.

So I signed up to PhotostoPDF because I needed to scan some stuff with the weekly payment option. When I signed up there were a message saying that I could cancel any time on PhotostoPDF setting. So I went there and it’s empty. There is not even a single option in PhotostoPDF setting. How can I cancel this as I am no longer using and cannot do it through PhotostoPDF settings?

I have no idea what update you did but there is absolutely no way to save a document if you use your camera to capture it. It takes you to an edit screen that is not asked for and no matter where you click it readjust your scan area and there is absolutely NO finish/next/complete button.
PhotostoPDF is now trash and a waist of time.

I have been using PhotostoPDF for years and found it fantastic. Storing my receipts mainly for warranties as I always lose them! So much more it can do, I recommend PhotostoPDF

Fantastic app. Very easy to use. An useful app for student or someone usually work with document. I like the way PhotostoPDF can capture picture and detect pdf file instanly

There isn’t a free use option anymore. I have used PhotostoPDF in the past. It worked. This last time I went to scan something and tried to use the free option without selecting a trial. It automatically selected the yearly purchase feature and then charged my account $35. No way is PhotostoPDF worth $35 for a casual user. Apple has refused to refund the $35!

Installed to scan some documents. Wouldn’t let me get past the initial purchase screen unless I used the limited version. Went to use the camera to scan and all it shows is a white screen. Immediately requested my money back from Apple.

It’s a scam. No way to cancel the 3 day free trial! This just takes pictures of whatever you are scanning but then you can’t do anything after that, all you can do is edit the picture. Thanks for wasting my time and money. Hope you enjoy the $35 you stole from me and anyone else who downloads PhotostoPDF! Absolute garbage!

One of the best ways to have your documents on the move

I read the directions to cancel subscriptions and that portion doesn’t exist in PhotostoPDF . So this will be fun to take care of.

It also works just like the camera on my phone. Why spend money on something you already have built into your phone.

I’ve read the responses to others seeing this and it’s not true to update I have the newest version of app there is literally no where to cancel your subscription I’ve emailed support hoping to solve this hoping they will be honest

I tried one other app first. It was trash. This one does exactly what I was looking for. I took a picture of a document and it auto recognizes it’s borders (although manual is easier to use). Manual still recognizes the borders for you once the photo is taken.

Wow advantagous tool for both students and workers, easily extract text from all assignment docs save me time to do other task, my dad also use this tool to sign his agreements in a tap, he said he loves PhotostoPDF because he can save the signature within PhotostoPDF , 5 big stars for the User experience 🤙🏻

I have used PhotostoPDF since day one. It's easy, intuitive, and saves time. I use it on business trips for expense reports. Keep a separate folder for each meeting. Then email all receipts at once. Highly recommended!

This is way easier to use than a big clunky machine. I love that you can adjust the margins however you want to. I also love that you can use existing photos on your phone. 100% recommend.

Overall PhotostoPDF is pretty good at getting the job done. The camera quality isn’t the best though and it’s really difficult to get quality scans because the camera doesn’t have a good focus.

This is my favorite app. It is the best app I have found for making PDFs. However, I wish it was more compatible with VoiceOver. Other than that, this is a great app. I use it for work.

PhotostoPDF is really useful especially when you have no PDF converter in your PC. PhotostoPDF will automatically turn your picture of docs into PDF! PhotostoPDF is also easy to use
