Work at a local bar with a lot of College kids I use this at the door and it identifies fake ID’s instantly, word has gotten out that we use ID Scanner and it has deterred a lot of the college kids from coming especially since these ID’s are costing them $50-$75 and we are required to confiscate them!

Poorly designed application! Installed app, setup an “account”, logging in, but for some reason it would not sync my account or settings. I keep getting the same error “Error Deleting Status Types...”
I’ve restarted my phone, uninstalled IDScanner , reinstalled it, even purchased $.99 for 100 scans to see if that would help - nothing!!! Not even a
Phone number to call for support!!

Well, first off IDScanner to forever to download. Then I tried to scan my REAL license and it told me to try again because that was a fake ID. Hm don't think the DMV is handing out fake IDs these days so I tried scanning my roommates REAL license.. also came up that it was a fake ID!! Waste of my time! Do not waste your time and download IDScanner unless you want to be told every ID you scan is fake.

I’m a bouncer and used this at the bar I worked at. People that definitely looked over 40 had IDScanner say their IDs were fake. I tried it on my own since I’m 23 and IDScanner couldn’t even read the barcode on my license. I wish I could give IDScanner less than 1 star.

Pretty decent. It does read NY ids. Nice design. The only problem is it takes a bit for the camera to focus. So not great for the busy nights. Cheapest and best quality ID scanning app.

We went to Buffalo Wild Wings for a friends 22 nd birthday, and she went to order a drink. She has a CT license, and this stupid app said that it was a fake id. Except it wasn’t. Aside from the horrible service at the restaurant, IDScanner was horrible and ruined a birthday party.

Tried to implement this in my business and new there was an issue after it scanned multiple people who looked upward of 40 as fakes, they were not happy.

Can not even read Connecticut licenses. Real ones come up as fake. Absolute fraud. All you have to do is adapt to the firstname last name format of CT and IDScanner might.... Actually work.

Scans real ID's as fake ID's people were not happy at all. Also was scanning known fake ID's as real ones, very unreliable.

I tested this with two IDs that are real and over 21, but they came up as fake. Then I tested a well-made fake ID that was scanned as a real ID. So IDScanner does not work.
