The reason I like GRE is because I always get stumped by those word problems and never really know how to approach them. GRE basically goes through tutorial videos of everything you may encounter at snail pace so you understand it. Think it's funny he can't say the word "sentence" though (pronounces it senance)

GRE is excellent for anyone needing a basic math review of topics on the this app. It's not enough for complete test prep -- actual test questions are much more generally much complex and variable than what you'll see in GRE -- but if it's been a long time since you've used high school math I HIGHLY recommend this clear, understandable presentation of the basics.

Only complaint is that there's no way to track which sections & lessons you've covered. If GRE could allow you to track progress through the lessons that would be a big help!

I used GRE to refresh my memory when I came upon math concepts that I didn't fully remember while studying fir the this app. It is easy to find what you need and us short and to the point. I would recommend thus app to anyone who needs a refresher of math concepts including middle and highschool students. I had some running issues like crashing and it takes a bit to load GRE . I liked it but would not pay more than a couple dollars fir it. Not worth 10.

GRE is a fantastic review of basic and advanced mathematical concepts for anyone studying for the this app. However, the people in the videos REALLY start grating on you after a while. The blonde lady in the basic lessons is good, but has the FAKEST smile at the end of each video. The guy In the more advanced lessons might be the dullest human being on earth. The dark-haired lady in the geometry lessons is terrible. Not meant for camera, that one. Looks empty-headed at the end of each clip, and stands there all slack-jawed. But the woman in the measurements section honestly seems deranged. Most annoying of the bunch. Wish they invested in better on-screen and voice talent, but it's still a great review.

GRE does what it promises -- teach basic math for the this app. However, it lacks a lot of basic functions: easy transition from one question to another, progress tracking, offline access, etc. But as far as value, this is no exception; great little app for the price.

Very easy to use and understand. It was just what I needed to relearn and build my confidence for the this app.

I haven't sat through a math course in over 15 years, and GRE is exactly what I needed to help push past my fears and get the confidence I need to take the this app math portion. It is easy to follow, step by step instructions in both audio and video formats are way better than a test prep book, and the practice problems can be printed out so I can use them over and over. Things I would like to see in future versions:

-show what sections have been completed or viewed as I go so I can work through it step by step and know where I've been.
-allow the option to download the videos or sections of the videos when wifi is not available. Would be great to study on long car trips or plane rides.
-allow the practice worksheets and notes to be emailed to a user as PDF files. Not everyone has an AirPrint enabled printer.
-As another user suggests, allow the option of subtitles to be turned on for deaf and hard of hearing users. But make it an opt-in option please.
-It would be great to link each lesson to a website where I can download additional practice problems.

All in all, this is a very well thought out app that I trust completely and I would much rather use this than a live teacher. Well done!

Like another user said, it's just as if I'm in class. It was worth the $10 I paid. Unfortunately I had to download it on my mothers iPad bc I was straining my eyes on my iPhone (#firstworldproblem). As someone from the state of Florida, having a weak math background was the perfect match for GRE. The instructors in the videos are great with step-by-step explanations via audio and visual, including supplements of the problems WITH solutions.

Had GRE since early-October and planning to take the this app mid December. I'm feeling ready than ever. Makes me wish I had GRE six years ago in high school.

I had written a whole review and somehow when I submitted it, it deleted. So I'll just say it's a great app and you should buy it.

My wife was preparing for the this app and had become upset because she couldn't remember some of the algebra and geometry she had learned way back when. This helped remind her of basic math concepts so she will feel more confident when she takes the test this spring. She was always good at math (a mathlete, if you will), but after years of not using it, the knowledge was hard to retrieve. She recommends this affordable app for a quick refreshing of math skills, and also mentions that it would probably be helpful for moms and dads assisting their children with homework!

This is just the refresher I was looking for. I have a this app study book, but I learn better through live instruction. These videos are short examples, one for each type of problem (6 videos under "Word Problem" category, one for each type). It's not in depth but he really helped me to see how most of these problems can be set up.

This is an excellent app to learn from basic to advanced. The videos tutorials are professionally presented. After viewing them, there are several ways to practice. I wish this company would create other this app subjects.

I haven't used the tutorial section of GRE but bases on the rest of the sight I'm confident it's great. I do use the worksheet and appreciate how they are broken down into specific categories. The answers are easy to access. Also enjoy the practice session multiple choice mode. The work button does an excellent job of showing the proper steps to the correct answer. GRE is worth every penny!

I've struggled with math throughout my life and relied on intense studying to get by. Other than private tutoring, which I could not afford, I've tried everything under the sun with little progress. This application is incredibly helpful and easy to use. It really makes me feel confident about doing math. I'm really enjoying it, too. Thank you so much for this program.

I was able to brush up on a lot of math I learned years ago, it's important to have a good approach in solving problems and GRE teaches you that. Everything is well-explained and the practice problems help you cement your understanding. I only wish they would give you the option of downloading the lesson videos.

This is the best math tutoring application I have encountered! I'm using it to brush up on math that I have last seen many years ago in college. It's very helpful and everything clicks. If I had this specific tool when I was in junior high/ high school I would have done much better. I highly recommend GRE!

I am happy to have discovered GRE for refreshing my math skills. I would most likely pay five to ten for GRE if it contained practices or quizzes. Thank you.

Well organized and efficient review of what you need to know. Well worth the 9.99/month you’ll spend unless you get through it in three days. Just what I needed. The skip quizzes are a welcome feature.
