Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Vissengids app issues:

Force Stop the Vissengids App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Vissengids app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Vissengids to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Vissengids App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Vissengids app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Vissengids.

Fix Vissengids unable to contact server/ Vissengids internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Vissengids » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Vissengids » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)

De this app App met zijn unieke VISsenscanner functie is een gratis app van Sportvisserij Nederland. Hiermee heb je altijd een overzicht van alle Nederlandse zoetwater- en zeevissoorten tot je beschikking; in totaal zo’n 170 stuks. Met de unieke VISsenscanner-functie in de app herkent je smartphone direct de juiste vissoort met behulp van de automatische beeldherkenning. De app is in opdracht van Sportvisserij Nederland ontwikkeld door Crossmedia Communicatiegroep. Doorzoek soorten eenvoudig op alfabet, familie of zoekwoord. De VISsenscanner functie is in samenwerking met Naturalis Biodiversity Center en Observation. org ontwikkeld.
