Although I am blind and don’t drive, I used to use sigalert to give me information about road conditions while using paratransit services for my long daily commutes to work. I could then pass on that information to the drivers so that they could take alternate routes if need be. Quite some time ago Sigalertcom used to have clearly-labeled buttons for various controls that the VoiceOver screen reader that’s built into my iPhone could readily identify. Now those buttons aren’t clearly identified; Voiceover just gives me meaningless information when it finds one of those buttons. Developers: we blind guys may not drive but a good number of us out here do travel to work and play and we like handy road information, too, so c’mon, fellas, get your act together and follow the existing accessibility guidelines for apps. Don’t just release an update with unlabeled cutesy eye candy graphics that don’t mean squat to us blind users.

I’ve been a professional Chauffeur in LA for 30+ years and Sigalertcom is an absolute essential tool.
Don’t be intimidated by the 1 star reviews, seems that what they are complaining about is that is not a GPS system. It operates just like all informative apps do, they rely on peer to peer input. It just takes a moment for the person to update the status of an accident, floods etc. if one drives by an incident and they do not report it, that’s not the systems fault. A must have app for what’s going on in the direction that your going to or happen to be on.

To whom ever created and runs Sigalertcom, do you all Not read reviews? Everyone is telling you that your App has problems and needs immediate attention. I'm not as concerned as the name or number to freeways or highways but as to the numerous times that the info provided on traffic conditions is wrong. I check open and it shows green or light yellow so I chose to take that route but soon as I get on the freeway it's backed up and Sigalertcom should've indicated Red (deep RED). And please do Not say it must've just happened cuz once in you can tell it's been that way for over 10 minutes or more. So please get it together and fix it!!!!!

Accurate, loads fast, has cameras you can view, and the platform is very easy to use.

I have waze but I don’t like it. I don’t care to know about others using Sigalertcom . I just want to view traffic info, that looks professional and gets to the point. Waze looks like a gaming platform and I find that cheesy.

I use Waze, exclusively, for navigation. While Waze shows traffic along your route and vicinity, that's it. Sigalertcom allows you to view traffic for the whole region, with current speeds and traffic cams. And you don't have to enter a route to get traffic information, accidents, construction zones, etc.

This traffic app will be my #1 traffic app because it’s quick and simple to use when you are on the road. Sigalertcom is like the old Total Traffic that was my favorite traffic app. It will tell you what the problem is on the road when you see a warnings. You must try, can’t say enough good things about it.

I have a new iMac with the M1 chip and Sigalertcom seems to work just fine. i have used it on my iPad for some time and happy to see it works on the iMac as well which I use for advanced planning. However, it is much more sensitive with the pan and zoom functions but easy enough to get used to.

I went to their website, but Safari won’t allow me because their certificate expired yesterday. Coincidence Sigalertcom stopped working yesterday? I really hope it gets fixed because it’s a GREAT traffic app.

We use this on our phone to check freeways. It works in many cities in different states. It's up to the minute information and really works. We used it to get home when the 15 freeway was shut down.

Unfortunately I finally had to delete Sigalertcom after 4yrs. Yesterday 7/14 it stopped refreshing. I redownloaded it today and its actually working but stuck in Southern California. I need it for the Bay Area. Hopefully an update will eventually come. I’ll redownload it again.

Sigalertcom has not released an update in 3 years and yet it STILL holds better and more usable data than INRIX! I don’t like the current state of INRIX. Google Maps does a better job. But Sig Alert isn’t a clone, it has distinctive information

I’ve been using Sigalertcom for years it’s a great way to see the traffic patterns throughout the city and determine when it’s a good time to travel and when is it’s not as well as what to expect on your route. I really can’t live without Sigalertcom

Use Sigalertcom all the time and have never had a discordant read. Especially since you can real-time view the cameras and confirm the road conditions. Coincides well with the reports from radio or tv.

Hands-down my favorite app for when I travel. Gives me an instant view of traffic conditions with a helpful color coding to determine where the congestion is. I like the immediacy that Sigalertcom gives you.

This used to be so easy but Sigalertcom has been useless for several months now. Tap Sigalertcom button and all it does is take me back to my Home Screen. Is there a reason why? Looks as if many others have the same issue as well. Can’t find anything online except that Sigalert has been revamped. Revamped yes, but I think you forgot about Sigalertcom . Any reason I shouldn’t delete it?

I can't tell you how many times I have ended up sitting in traffic when Sigalertcom shows all green. The refresh button is almost as worthless as Sigalertcom and can be upwards of a half hour behind what's actually happening on the road. This does not show traffic in real time. WAZE is far superior. At least it is real time.

Don't download this. You will be sorry if you believe it's reports.

Sigalertcom is essential when traveling in Los Angeles. It’s up to date the moment there is an issue with the freeways and highways. I use it everyday and am thankful Sigalertcom exists. Thank you developers!

This is a terrific app & has saved me on multiple occasions. My daughter even calls me & asks me to check the area where she is having problems. Wouldn’t be without it.

Roads that now continue but not in Sigalertcom . I think it’s time for an update fellas.

Sigalertcom is broken and will not open after last IOS update. Seems a lot of people are having this problem too. Is it going to be Fixed?? Sigalertcom is very useful when deciding whether to use the Fasttrack or not. Hopefully this will be updated.

Completely useless to me now!!! I'll be first to admit that I am 100% map illiterate and Sigalertcom is alllll maps!! This new update got rid of freeway lists and now you click on the freeway you want info on or where you want to go. I can't understand your sketchy maps!!! 😩 used to be super helpful and now it just makes me sad 😭

Sigalertcom is totally useless. If u live in a location outside a major city don’t even bother. Only half my state is covered. Even thou we have traffic cams u can’t even scroll that far north. Total waste of the data I used to download it. Can’t even believe the developer would even release an app that only covers half a state. Total failure.

Not a big fan of the new update. I actually really dislike it. please bring back the old view where we could see a list view of the roads and freeways. It's much easier to view, especially while navigating in the car. I don't care much for the map view

The good part of Sigalertcom is the detail it provides on accidents. But too often incidents are not reported. And it is not “they just happened” if fire, CHP and ambulances are on scene. And visa versa. It shows red, but it’s already cleared.
Why can’t this be fixed???

I thought this was a free app so I downloaded it.
I just received an email stating my subscription was going to expire and to pay to keep it going......um, no.

I only used it twice and I don’t this Sigalertcom is very accurate.
Deleting from my iPad. Not worth the cost.
