This is ridiculous. I was told it’s two different things. I can register my card to my account online but can’t link to the cloud app?!! This needs to be fixed. Meaning if I forget my card at home I need to log on to my account on a website to see I have a valid monthly fare. When it can simply be linked to this stupid app. I can log onto to my account on cloud but it’s useless basically!

I needed to get to work this morning and CompassCloud wasn’t working, I have a quarter pass through my school and it wasn’t showing up. I tried to buy a ticket since I really needed it, and nothing showed up. After taking an Uber to work I deleted and re-downloaded CompassCloud and the tickets appeared. Only problem, I didn’t need them anymore, I emailed customer service if I can get a refund since CompassCloud was faulty when I bought them, and they denied my request by saying it’s final sale. So it’s that really how they make money? Make a faulty app, charge you then say its final sale?! Please carry cash with you, CompassCloud is not worth it!

Purchased a ticket and it’s not showing up in CompassCloud . Ive had to beg drivers to let me on the bus for the last two days. They think I’m pulling a fast one or something! I’ve deleted reinstalled, logged in and out and nothing works. I’ve received no response from CompassCloud support team. Amazing how the bug isn’t preventing SD MTA from taking my money though.

My bus driver just said that I needed to call in because the display is wrong on CompassCloud . I guess this occurred last week after an update reversed the image (instead of the moving train being centered on the screen, it’s along the boarder with a white square boarding pass in the middle). I’m concerned because the way she said this makes me think other drivers may refuse to let me on. Maybe she is just incorrect and this is the new format that they didn’t tell the drivers about? I really don’t have the time to be calling in about this, nor do I know who I would call.

Overall not bad, but occasionally CompassCloud crashes and it does not work when the phone has no signal. They should really ensure that the passes can be accessed even when the phone is not connected to the wifi or data.

So far CompassCloud has been reliable to a certain extent. I had one experience where my Internet was not up to par, so I had a bit of trouble loading CompassCloud . It raised the concern as to how I can validate the fact that I have paid for a day pass if I don’t have Internet at a particular point in my day of trips.

I appreciate the simplicity of CompassCloud , but it’s s little tricky to get from purchasing CompassCloud to the final ticket page with the moving cars. The bus drivers aren’t very familiar with it, so while they’re kind helpful folk, a professional development involving CompassCloud could increase their ability to help luddites such as myself.

This is a great app for traveling around the San Diego/Southern California area however with that said there’s not a spot on CompassCloud where I can view the bus/train schedules. I just don’t want to have to go online with sh¡t connection and have to find the schedule each time. Please fix this thanks.

This is the best public transit app I’ve ever used. As a developer, big shout out to the team that built this! Well done!
My biggest (and only) feature request would be to have a history view that displays all tickets by date and price. Right now the history view is tucked in and offers no dates, which makes it harder to submit tickets for expense reimbursement. Add that and this would be complete! 🙌

My bus driver stopped me as I was getting on today with CompassCloud (Thursday, 11/30, 2pm) and said I needed to “Call in” and get the correct “app”. Is there something we need to do? Just concerned since I wasn’t ready to hear that and I want to be sure I can still use my ticket. Other than that, I love CompassCloud and have had no issues.

I take the bus and coaster daily and can easily purchase my tickets through CompassCloud . Only down side to CompassCloud is it doesn’t give the option to purchase a one-way bus ticket ($2.50). Only the regional day pass ($5.00). Not a huge deal to me but might be for others.

I'm 70 years old and still work and often commute via my bicycle 18 miles each way. On days when I feel lazy I ride to the Coaster station and lop 10 miles off my commute.. the Coaster is quick, quiet, and relaxing. Best of all they allow bicycles on the Coaster train! Joe Seckelman

I actually love CompassCloud. It’s so convenient especially when you are on the go. In the morning if your running late. And to buy a ticket it’s just a click and done. I recommend!!

I had to buy a $5 all day pass when I wanted to ride a different bus. After the new update the tickets don’t stay valid after one use 😐
