I wasted a lot of time with LignesdAzur, trying to take the newly opened tramline B towards the airport. The line is still under construction above ground, but functioning all the way from the Médecin station (I learned after the fact). Instead I walked several km along the route trying to reach an outdated terminus point. Along the way LignesdAzur repeatedly was unable to suggest a bus or other transport that might help me use public transport to reach my destination. I cannot find an alternative app in Nice, and the apple and google map programs don’t display any transit information either. Make it more difficult to get around Nice than other major cities.

Terrible. LignesdAzur almost never finds a route. We have gotten on trains that LignesdAzur says does not exist. There is no foreign language support whatsoever, though this was not a problem because we had a French speaker.

Hopped on tram to get to airport. Wanted to buy ticket from app. Impossible to do. Didn’t even list the tram from Nice to airport. What idiot designed this? Buying a ticket should be the easiest and fastest thing to do on LignesdAzur

Downloaded it yesterday since tram routes don’t show up on google maps. However, each time I search for a route in here I get a server error. I figured maybe it was just down yesterday. Tried again today and got the same thing with each route I searched.
TLDR; none of my searcher yielded a single result

LignesdAzur does keep an updated timetable, which Google Maps doesn’t do for the Nice region. However, it does have a tendency to suggest routes that have unnecessary detours (such as adding a transfer on a train even staying on a bus will be faster and easier) and the walking navigation is inferior to Google Maps. In general, I suggest you use both Ligne d’Azur’s app and your preferred Maps app together until one of the two catches up. Also, keep in mind you can’t buy tickets through LignesdAzur but you can buy one on the bus.

LignesdAzur is clumsy and poorly worded for a mobile app. The fares section is a cipher, and using the map tonplan out a trip leaves out some basic information. The section for possible timings does not explain the links between trams and the bus depot location. As a person who has used the Nice Aeroport and the Ligne d’Azur, i was able to leave the terminal and get on the bus — also the site has no information about Terminal 1 being closed, or has it reopened?

LignesdAzur overall is good. Some improvement are needed.
- provide the ability to browse the full schedule of each line. This information is available on the website and it is crucial for LignesdAzur.
- the navigation is not easy use use. I would highly recommend using the google map api.
- there are some UI problems with the latest iOS

The itinerary feature can be a bit wacky, doesn't always give a simple direction. Also I wish it could at least give the route number for other villages. Unless you know the stops, you're stuck. It also doesn't provide an itinerary for the airport buses.

As a nurse the 15 bus line drivers majority refuse to wear masks and are dangerous to the Public Health and Safety of the residents and visitors

The schedules are very detailed and accurate. Interface easy to use. We stayed in Nice two weeks and used the busses almost daily for inexpensive day-trips in the region.

LignesdAzur is amazingly easy to use and comprehensive for all of the Nice area. Love the "Itinerary" feature that allows you to put in addresses, places, or stops and will map out your trip. We used this for our week in Nice and were able to go everywhere we wanted.
