My siblings and I have downloaded and played Storm 8 games for years, but I imagine our dedication to your apps will cease due to a recent occurrence involving a disgusting pop-up ad.

Though obviously a game designed for children, my 11 year old sister is subjected to random ads for a app called Episode, a game where you essentially “choose your story”. Everything you choose to do effects the outcome of your character’s “life”. We’ve all seen the ads, I’m sure. Whether it’s your character’s teacher having an affair with their mom, or the decision to tell your character’s’ boyfriend that he’s a baby daddy, you’re made to choose in order for the ad close. I am appalled, disgusted, and disappointed. The young eyes that view this game shouldn’t come in contact with this garbage.

To those or you considering downloading this for your children, please don’t. But if you’re ready for the questions that will eventually lead to “the talk” with your 9 year old, then please be my guest. Storm 8, I’m begging you to please fix this. Your ad revenue is not worth it. Now I have to figure out how to tell my sibling that she can’t play Fashion Story anymore, despite her multiple months-long work on her shop.

Not only can you not advance in your game without paying hard money but now you’ve crossed the line! While many people and other developers are trying to support each other in these stressful times Storm8 only cares about making quick,easy money! Your tactics concerning shoving down advertising other games every time you try and start your game now but I see it’s backfiring! Each player only logs in to give hope and encouragement to each other. While this pitiful game has only sought a way to use these upsetting times to get more advertisements! This shows clearly your main objectives. Other developers are offering interesting side quests to keep all distracted (with no cost to players) while these developers are trying only to get all the money possible from their own players. Not only will I never download Any game trying to profit in this matter I will never attempt any of Storm8’s other games! Your selfishness blares loud and clear! I can only hope someday you fully understand this heartless misstep and path you have chosen. I feel you wish these observations never to see the light of day. I hope someone reads and understands these heartfelt disappointments you created. A many year player regretfully withdraws after my game friends no longer needs any support.

Sadly, while the game is fun, it is set up for you to accidentally spend money to get anything done and there is ZERO help from the developers. I have played this and other storm games for a long time and deleted them all years ago. I downloaded them thinking things might be different now but it’s a million times worse. Every move you make, an AD pops up. Place an item, AD. Win something, AD. Buy something AD AD AD!! On top of how expensive everything is.. and I don’t mind spending money on a game.. they REFUSE to give refunds or assist in helping you if you accidentally purchased something. I have asked more times than I can count for help getting refunds but they immediately close the ticket. It disgusts me how greedy and single minded they are with NO care for their players. It’s not just refunds but my game has been crashing for months and I’ve received diddly squat in assistance. Also, all events should be able to be won with hard work but it’s absolutely impossible to win without spending money. It’s sad. There’s nothing wrong with charging but it’s all these people care about and everyone knows it. NO HELP! ALL ABOUT MONEY! VERY FEW UPDATES. ZERO COMMUNICATION!!!!!

Nothing. No new clothes, design anything. You don't need diamonds to play but you can't get far quickly without them. Most, if not all, of the coolest design items require diamonds and lots of them. I've been playing since the game first came out so maybe 5 or 6 years I'm not sure . It was fun earning diamonds by ordering cloths but now even that's disappeared as there are never any new clothes on offer. They used to update at least once a week with a new design theme and and outfit. Now...nothing. If you've never played the game you will have fun...for awhile. Build up your diamonds by selecting the same piece of clothing over and over as you can earn 2 dismiss for each piece. However be warned as some pieces may take 23 hours to complete while others take minutes and will expire if they aren't retrieved in time so plan accordingly. Save your diamonds for cool holiday purchases ....you'll need a lot so don't spend them speeding things up! Be careful not to accidentally spend them either which is EXTREMELY easy to do. I've spent 1000s of diamonds just by touching something I didn't mean to. It never confirms a purchase or the spending of your much coveted gems so BE WARNED!

The game starts out and doesn’t give you enough cash to play. The first 10 diamonds that I was able to accumulate accidentally got spent when I needed to buy some clothing for the store and I was out of money so it transferred all my diamonds into cash.☹️
The timers that are set on clothing purchases expire overnight so your clothing is no good in the morning. The game waste too much time on individual purchasing of clothing items that are consumed so fast that you would need to spend hours making low-cost items just to continue to have clothing in your store. I’m not spending money on a game like this. There are not enough options in the right time slots to work for me. I deleted this one. If it had a better balance within the game, maybe more perks or way to earn dollars but the first couple days I spent my time waiting for my clothing to arrive, and never having enough funds to start out caused me to quit. Too bad I could see great potential in something like this but lack of attention to construction mechanisms do not suit my taste.

I wanna start by saying that I love this game so much, & i've been playing it for 5 years now. It's the only game I have kept no matter how many times I got a new device, so it's pretty good. But you guys have some issues. 1st, I think things should cost less being that this is a kids game overall. And I know for a fact I'm not the only one who thinks that. Also, just for the fun of it, I think you should get more creative with your new outfits. Make new makeup and hairstyles, add variety! And I think you should add a male option because I've met guys who play this game, and that would be a nice update. The last thing I will mention is your "support". I lost 49 gems because I accidentally tapped to purchase a new slot for my catalog. The game didn't even ask: "are you sure?" Like most games do... when I went to the request section of the storm8 website, it had an option choice for 'accidentally spent game currency'. So I selected that as my problem, typed the details, and sent the request. The only reply I got was an automatic email stating I could make a request on the website...which is what I had just done! So now (months) I have gotten no reply and no refund, WHAT THE HECK STORM8?! 😡😤 However if I get a response or a refund, and if you PLEASE try to make some requested changes, I will re-rate FashionStory at 5 stars...

My Main concern with this game is how I haven’t been receiving new goals lately. I’m on level 56 and out of no where I just stopped receiving them, and they make the game so much more fun! I don’t think I’m the only one who just stopped receiving them but I do know that some of my neighbors that are on the same level as me, get them. I’ve tried contacting the game but it was pointless as they couldn’t help me so if you could please fix this that’d be great. Not only that but I stopped getting new slots in my catalog, when I use to get them every other new level, idk if I’m the only one but I miss getting a new slot. ALSO, if you guys could please work on making new updates to the game, I use to play this game when I was younger and although it’s still fun, nothings really changed, like maybe think of adding new clothes or some new wallpaper cuz ya there’s a bunch of options to buy, but they’re so out of style to what people where these days:/Not only that but I was reading some other reviews, and they’re right, you guys should add a feature for when your about to purchase something with diamonds, that there should be a button that’s says “are you sure you’d like to purchase this” because it can be so annoying when I accidentally purchase something i didn’t even want and just completely waste my diamonds.

I really like playing this game! It’s super easy, relaxing, and fun. However, there are a few issues that if fixed would make playing so much more enjoyable. My first request would be to add a step that says “are you sure?” before purchasing anything with diamonds. I can’t even explain how many times I’ve accidentally blown all my diamonds on something I didn’t even want because I accidentally clicked on it. It is quite frustrating. Other small glitches include that when I click expand it doesn’t show how many coins it costs, it just has the option to purchase without knowing. Sometimes the makeup counter doesn’t let you choose where the item goes. I don’t know if it’s my wifi or what but FashionStory crashes A LOT - like at least 2-3 times every time I play. And my most recent annoyance is that for some reason when my store is full at night and I go back on in the morning, the no internet connection screen appears and it always works when I hit retry, but then nothing in my store sold all night and I have no where to put any of the new stuff I ordered and it all expires. Another feature I think would be super useful would be organizing the catalogue by number of hours instead of casual, formal, etc. It would make it so much easier to order the things I want. Overall, I really like playing this game but some of these issues can make it very frustrating and unenjoyable. I really hope they can be fixed!

I've played this game years ago and then took a break and recently came back this year, and I'm surprised nothing much has changed other than new clothes and decor.

There is still no Select/Gift All option. It really is tedious to click everyone one by one. Also, it would be nice if those who can't accept any gifts not show up or have their button darkened out.

It would be nice to see your clothes on the racks and counters in the design mode so we can reorganize quicker and easier. Also, being able to move clothing from one rack or counter to another. Sometimes my fingers misclick and the item goes on a nearby rack or counter rather than the one I wanted.

When ordering clothes, it would be extremely awesome to categorize by time, like all fashions that take less than 6 hours in one tab, another tab for those within 12-16 hours, and another tab for anything longer. Something like that.

There is also this little bug that's still around even years after. When you're clicking your orders to put them on racks and counters, sometimes the arrows on the sides will disappear and you're unable to click anything, forcing you to close down FashionStory and open it up again.

I would love for these changes to happen, but apparently it seems there's been no updates for awhile, especially since Stormie's Shop has been in a fall theme all year long.

First off, this game has always been my favorite, I love the variety of times an order takes for clothes and the many decorations you can get to help make your boutique unique.
But, I have been having an issue with FashionStory where everytime I open FashionStory the “no wifi connection” screen will pop up when I’m home with wifi connected. I’ll click retry and then it will load and be perfectly fine, But, once it loads and I get to my boutique, I’ll realise I still have full stock on the floor while being at work or not really on my phone the whole day and I’ll make like $1k (app “pretend money”) which I didnt have this problem until recently. I’ll try to keep FashionStory open by not swiping it away and I’ll earn some money, but not like I used to.
Not sure if this is a bug or if it’s my phone but I’ve never had this issue before and I’m waiting to gain more money so that I can expand and continue decorating the boutique.
Overall, I would give FashionStory 5 stars but I havent been able to ACTUALLY play it in about a week or so - opening FashionStory and realising I didnt make any money and I have all my clothes and accessories still on the floor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love this game and it feeds my soul but I hate the part where your orders expire after a certain amount of time. Like why can’t I just play this game at my leisure? Why do I have to go back at inconvenient times in my life and accept my finished orders “before they expire.” Honestly it adds stress to my life and sometime I debate whether I should even continue to play it. I order pieces that take at least 1 day to complete but even then I get expired items as I have a busy lifestyle and not many chances to “check on my games.” And I’m definitely not spending diamonds on expired items. I’m not a cheapo but the decor and furniture is already expensive enough and I’d rather spend my diamonds on decorating my shop. Anyway, I seriously doubt the makers of this game will change this but I felt like ranting about it tonight. My last thought, I like to play games to relax and enjoy it, not to feel stressed and pressure from expiring items.. there’s already enough deadlines we have to deal with in real life. We don’t need any more from our games that are supposed to give us a break from real life and help us relax. This game would be much better without expirations. ✌️

It’s been such a long time since a freaking goal. And many, MANY people request some new ones. I see it everywhere. They made it harder to get gems, too. They barely update it and when they do it’s just for bugs. So much people are leaving the game because they’re tired of waiting. This game doesn’t seem to have new goals since years ago. I downloaded the game for the first time 6 years ago and lost it because I broke my device and now I been using my new account for 2 years and all the goals I came across were from 6 years ago, which means from 6 years ago they haven’t had a new goal to keep users entertained. Once you completed the goals that are within the game, that. Is. It. Then newer users won’t have older clothes to purchase for their avatar or from the catalog because they came out during rare times years ago. I know this because 6 years ago, there was disco clothing and now I don’t have it in my new game. And I’ve noticed the selection of clothes is fewer. So I am missing a lot, unfortunately. I wish they would let everyone new have clothes that came from the past. ✌🏾

I loved this game since the game was released,I haven’t picked back on it till recently but i doubt there was this many ads in the game. Every 10 minutes when i tried buying clothing I get an ad and I don’t have the time to watch through a 15-60 second ad. The adds for diamonds are confusing too, there’s this solitaire ad for 30 seconds but make you go through another 30 seconds playing the game, like the rest of the reviews, I want there to be a way where you watch an ad and get 10 diamonds per. I do have a problem with the missions, their usually just “download FashionStory and play a little” well i did it and nothing happened. And when I set my age as 13-15 for ads they just give me a bunch of money winning adds which they should know i’m too young for. Not to mention I want them to update the game more often, nothing has changed since the last 8 years I’ve played it. I would also like there to be more quick and cheaper clothing because we only have so little quick cheap clothing.

#1 can we please get a button on shoppages where we can send a neighbor invite request simply by clicking a button instead of having to try to figure out what they’re storm ID is and send them a request that way sometimes I find a shop that I like but they don’t have their storm ID as their shop name so I can add them as a friend it’s frustrating
#2 can we please have a longer time before our outfits expire I have bought outfits that take hours or days to receive and then once that time comes I’m busy doing something else in my outfit that took days to receive expires in an hour unfair
#3 can we please get more updated outfits that take less time than an hour for example 1 minute 2 minutes 15 minutes 30 minutes 1 hour I love playing this game but not having many options that are less than an hour makes it impossible for me to play as much as I would like

with these changes I would play this game all the time and I would definitely spend more money on diamonds

I as many others have been playing this for years. I have spend lot of time & money playing this game. I play it to relax, it at one time was very enjoyable for me. I have made friends & played with the same people for years. Then I reached 100 which is the goal (I thought). Now the game has became boring there are no more new items, or goals. I have seen people that have along with me for years leave the game.
There are many people who are in the same place. They want the game to continue. So to Team Lava PLEASE bring the game back to life. Let’s go beyond 100 with new items & new goals. I true believe the game can continue to be fun and also make money. If you take a look you will see many players who have reached 100 are still playing. Together we can continue to play.

Fun game! Love the camaraderie with the neighbors and friends! Hate the closet! We sell the products in our stores for a few coins, but are charged diamonds for those same clothes! If the game is fun and we spend a few dollars intermittently, the pure numbers of folks playing by the chains I see would make you billionaires! Why make every part of the game about money/diamonds? I am loyal because of my fellow players. Like them I can walk away anytime I find the cash flow exceeds the fun of the game! I have 3 stores because the game is not transferable to other devices like most games! Storm 8 is not transfer friendly! I have different levels in all my 3 stores! I like to play the game! I had friends! But each device gets a different game! I will warn folks on my walls! You need to join Game Center or iTunes or something to cross all devices with the Same game as all the other gamer apps have done!

This an amazing an addicting game ,and it’s a great way to show your creativity. It has plenty of options from decorations furniture and clothes. Though, it would be nice if there was also made outfits and deco because I know males who also enjoy the game. The game really does challenge you and helps you learn how to use money wisely and make you think “how would I run my business”. Though I’ve been having a problem. Lately, I’ll click on FashionStory and it’ll say I’m offline so I’ll try again and I’ll get in. Though, after that it hasn’t show how much money I made when I was off FashionStory like usual I only have costumers when using FashionStory . I would have to be on FashionStory for far to long to have all my items sold and that’s no fun, and this is starting to happen all the time. This is the only app I’m having problem with. I really enjoy the game so I hope you guys can fix this😊.

I’ve been playing fashion story since my first iPhone, the 3GS and it’s been great ever since. I love the customization of shops and different themes we can work with, I just wish there were more! Compared to bakery and restaurant story, the other apps in the virtual world, fashion story doesn’t have nearly as many options. It would be nice to have a bit more to choose from. The fashion choices are great and I like being able to mix and match pieces to create new outfits. In that aspect I wish we could unlock more clothes even after passing all the levels! I also wish there was a way to obtain more coins and diamonds like in bakery and restaurant story. It’d also be nice if we could have more goals like in the other series. Some of these goals aren’t really that fun to complete and I wouldn’t mind if they expired simply so I can move on to the next. Other than those few things it’s a great game and is lots of fun! 💖💖💖

This game is great. I always grew up loving bakery story. Never really was a big fan of fashion story because it didn’t seem to interest me until now. After playing it for a while now, it is quite relaxing, like the rest of the games created by storm 8, and I rate it a 5 because I appreciate the ability for one to self express through an avatar, along with the nice interior designs (which could possibly be better than bakery and restaurant story, in my opinion but I could be wrong ). My only complaint about it is to maybe find a way so that we are able to get more diamonds. A lot of things are very costly, and the requests demand lots of its use. Expanding is difficult since you can only rely on the quests to grant you some of them. I’m not sure if they’ll reward it once you level up but can’t you also add short videos/ads we could watch to earn 10 diamonds? If there is an update for it in bakery/restaurant story, why not fashion story. Despite that, I truly think this is a good game even though it seems to be abandoned, since the last update was a year ago...

So to start I absolutely love this game played it a lot when I was younger too but anyway first off I don’t get how people complain about the ads like I never have any only 1 like once a day honestly two when people say it’s hard to get gems I don’t think it’s too hard bc you can get them from buying enough of the same items completing tasks and you can get up to like 7 or so everyday for just watching an ad so plenty of ways to get gems and they obviously can’t make it to easy to get a bunch otherwise there no point in having the gems but my main issue is sometimes I won’t play for like say an hour when I log back on i will have the same amount of money I had when I left sometimes even LESS but my products will still be missing so like I just never got my money doesn’t happen to frequently but still a little annoying when I wanted a whole day for something then for half of them to be gone and me make no money out of it again doesn’t happen to much so I’m not too mad but just hope it’s something they can fix but I do recommend the game

The game is alright. Ive only kept it because i gotten so far in the game that i dont wanna delete it. Make some new fun changes. For instance, we should be able to rotate the screen and see the store in another view. So we have more then one view. Or at change the look because i get bored staring at one view. That would make the game more interesting if we can rotate views. Another thing is we should be able to buy merchandise from other stores/neighbors. Also find a way where the game has more involvement.. Sometimes i see customer with broken hearts and i didnt get to see why. We should be able to tap the broken heart to see what it is. shorten the times when we order merchandise hours are way to long! I have to "block the door" so customers wont come in because im still waiting for my merchandise to be done loading. Again, only kept the game because ive gotten so far

Love this game but hasn’t got new updates for months. The last two updates it won’t load the game anymore. I cannot reopen it for new clothes to stock. Even for the Christmas shopping for my customers. The second update came up it still won’t load the game. I currently using a new 32GB iPad 2 because my last iPad was damaged it was a 16GB iPad 2. It’s not on the list of games to save to Game Center to save your progress. They knocked it off the list, possibly they might not be continuing this game. I still want to play this game. Don’t want to get a 64GB iPad Air fearing my progress won’t be transferred to the new device. You have to start over with a new account. Which I don’t because I spent money on this game over the years. The latest update doesn’t upload the game. But I’ll try uninstalling FashionStory and reinstalling FashionStory . If the problem is fixed.

I have been playing this game for many years and do love it. However, at this point and level that I am at, I never get anything new, clothes, decorations etc. It is much less costly for me, but not as much fun. I don’t like if I spend real money on surprise items in trunks that I get the same item twice in a row. Also, l don’t like when I am getting floor tiles and other decorations when I have to keep finding the item again I have to start from the beginning. Overall, I love the game, making coins when selling products, dressing my avatar, decorating my store for holidays etc., visiting other stores. I don’t like when you tap something you are not asked if you really want to do it before you are charged and can’t get your money or gems back. That is sleazy. If you could fix these things, I would give you five stars too.

I really love this game! It is very fun!!! Although.... I have a couple things I do not like and those are •there aren’t a lot of 1-10 minute clothes, if you don’t know what I mean, i mean you do not have a lot of little orders. Orders have minutes or hours. I’m not saying it should be only minutes,but, there should be a larger variety. That is just one issue next is...• you should be able to rotate a dressing room or a mirror all the way around. That’s all that are wrong with the game in my opinion. Now I have recommendations ~ you should be able to give a present to a neighbor(s). You also should be able to have them help you get orders done. You should make this game bigger by making it where you can go shopping at other neighbors stores. Thanks for your time but I do recommend this game

I've been playing this game since I was like 12! I'm 17 now. I have a dream of becoming a fashion designer one day and owning my own big store. Fashion story has brought me a huge attention into fashion mostly having a store! I love this game. It's addicting. I really recommend Storm8 making new missions especially if you finished them all :/ new clothes/designs! More makeup options/ hair options. I also think that the way to get gems is expensive. Not all little girls who play this game will be able to pay... some parents will be like mine who say no. Now I got to pay for my own gems! Bc I finally am able to get money on my own. LOVE LOVE THIS GAME. Just need a little changes :) overall this is the best fashion game ever!! I've transferred my account like 2 times bc I got new phones! Best supposed team!❤️ Thanks

Please add new fashions it is getting boring buying the same fashion . You should while them all out & add all new fashions
