This is a helpful study tool, I really like the quiz function. But I wish there was more options for that. For instance, it would be nice to have an untimed mode, so you could just practice the morphology. Additionally, it would be nice if there could be a few types of tests, like the basic WBC/RBC morphology currently available, and another one for cell types seen in malignancies, featuring Blasts and what not. Currently, one of my biggest struggles is just correctly ID’ing the maturation stages of the RBCs and WBCs, so being able to work on that would be helpful.

It would be very helpful if you could be quizzed per section. For example.. hematopoeisis (erythropoesis) or hematopoeisis (monopoiesis). We are learning the cells by sections in class and it’s confusing when the quiz asks them all. Thank you.

I keep heated blanket and not eaten by the end zone I need to remove the timer on the quiz. Why do people think they should have been in my room? Stop. I'm not sure about that. Kept downloading 3 times and still cannot open CellAtlas on my phone. Very disappointed.

This is a great application from CellaVision, one of the developers at the forefront of automating and classifying the cells of a peripheral blood smear. This application has three main components. First, is it's namesake: this app. this app features short descriptions and key findings of the various cells in the blood. They cover the normal and abnormal forms of RBCs (erythrocytes), cell stages involved in the development and maturation of of RBCs, WBCs (leukocytes) and platelets (thrombocytes). It also features CellQuiz, which gives you the opportunity to accurately answer a picture based quiz and see how accurate you are in 60 seconds. Great for students who need to review morphology. Last, it features a video section which describes the technology in two of CellaVision's analyzers: the DM1200 and DM96.

Hopefully, the developers will continue to add more photos. As a practitioner, it would be awesome to get the ability to link up with your lab's LIS system and review slides from your phone or iPad. But that's the science geek in me.

This educational app helps increase proficiency in hemopoietic cell identification through different maturation stages and types, as well as abnormalities. It can directly aid in hematology skills used by lab professionals and students, and is a great app for studying. The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate and use. It would greatly help to have a larger database of cells to identify in the quiz portion, as well as more examples of typical, atypical, and abnormal cells, which I would pay a fee for. Overall, this is a wonderful free app!

I like the way it organized by each cell and impressed by the pictures! There are enough pictures to learn and characteristic explaination for each cells. I didn't like the video but overall, this is such nice app to have and good way to study too!!!!! Highly recommanded to get this and it's free! :-)

this is a very useful study guide for hematology! I really like the quiz format, but I wish that there were more types of cells included, and that you could customize what cells were in your quiz. definitely better than some of the paid apps out there.

CellAtlas is a very useful hematology study asset to have at your disposal. It offers an enjoyable way to hone your skills in regards to recognizing various cellular morphologies. CellAtlas 's organization and design make it easy to learn quickly.

Great app! I'm an MLT working at an oncology office where we read slides everyday, CellAtlas helps a lot. Hope there are updates for more pics of cells.

CellAtlas has been very useful to me. I really enjoy the quiz option, just wish I could turn off the timer. CellAtlas is great for anyone starting out in hematology.

Excellent app for Med Tech's to use. Also great to show family and friends what the heck we are looking at when we sit at the microscopes all day long.

This is a very useful app. I wish there was a way to only test on specific information.

I enjoy the cell quiz, but wish it gave more time. Lol. I wish the example slides had more examples than 4-5. It's a good app and I would like to see more from it!!!

this app is a great APP! It helped me a lot with identifying cells. CellAtlas is very easy to navigate. It would help if the quiz gave us more time though. Overall, it is a great APP!

Wish it would work on my iPad. But it doesn't fit the screen. The game is great but I wish it allowed to adjust the time length to guess.

This is a pretty cool app. The quiz function has been helpful for cell review. It would be nice to be able to see a side-by-side comparison of the cells so I could really see the differences.

My teacher recommended CellAtlas to the class, and it has not disappointed.

Only needs clarity and hoping that the slides can be zoomed and there are labels for every detail of the cell structures for better understanding and identification.
