It is a good idea, but Tanger is not easy to use. It is hard to find coupons sometimes

I love Tanger. It’s always up to date on events going on at the Foley location. I don’t have to use the coupon book. I am a this app member and getting my rewards are as easy as taking a picture of my receipt through Tanger and submitting it. I always check on the deals for every store as a go to of where I’m going to get the best deals! It took less than a minute to download. Not sure why I read a lot of bad reviews on the download process, perhaps it got better. I have never had an issue with updates either. I’m always able to log right on. No complaints.

Can’t seem to get past sign in page. Reinstalled and still freezes at sign in

I want a list of stores and a map. Nothing available like that on Tanger. It wants me to enter a store name. It won't even show me what store are in an outlet.

I downloaded Tanger easily enough. Once I got to the outlet (Foley), however, the complimentary WiFi did not work. Conveniently enough, there was a service desk nearby (no shortage of those!). After I finally got to the lone woman working there, I was told that the 25% off coupon that was going on at the time (end of summer/back to school), available online and through Tanger , could only be accessed if I was a member OR a member of AAA/AARP/military. Why would one put an offer in an app if it wasn’t applicable at the service desk? The woman was terribly rude and Tanger was rendered useless thanks to crap WiFi (you have to enter in your Facebook login or email at the mall as well). So now, I wasted time browsing deals and marking stores (with no option to mark stores on the “location enabled” app that I was unable to access while at the mall, mind you) and had a difficult time due to poor customer service. The outlet is fine, by the way. They need to fix the technical kinks to make the ease of access available to those who may be traveling in from out of town (2 hours away!!!). Deleting Tanger after I finish my diatribe. Great deals at the outlet. Skip Tanger . It’s useless.

We have 3 memberships for this app Club from several years ago. We were told at that time to adhere the red sticker to the rear driver’s side window. Done. Over the years, we have acquired new cars and needed new stickers. Sherry at the Charleston, SC office told us she couldn’t give us new stickers. I told her that was ok, I’d just get 3 new memberships. We begin the process only to be told I can’t use the existing emails and phone numbers because they are attached to an existing account. Head is now spinning she said I should have taken the sticker off the car when we sold it. It doesn’t come off. The conversation was even more hostile as we continued. When I left I told her thank you. She was rude and made a remark about hoping I was leaving. I was willing to pay for the memberships. Apparently if you get a new car, you are out of luck.

(Platform is iOS 6 on an iPhone 4S.) I saw the "download our app!" poster at a this app mall in Rehoboth; it downloaded & installed OK, but had to be shut down completely & restarted once to work. After that, it worked -- but was NOT worth the effort.

- Search feature only allows to search by store name; e.g., if you're looking for a place to eat, you'd better hope it has "food" in its name or it won't show up in the search results.

- Some businesses are missing; it never showed me the Chipotle I was sitting in (even when searched by name), but happily redirected me to an Applebee's down Route 1.

- The map is apparently an extremely low-resolution scan; enlarge it onscreen and it blurs into illegibility.

- Assuming you can read the tiny text on the map, it only gives store ID numbers, not the store names.

- Coupons & special in-app offers were completely out of sync with what was in the stores; several deals were easily available in-store while the in-app versions were listed as either expired or not becoming active for up to several weeks in the future.

In short, it's the kind of app that this app shoppers should have -- but it's so badly executed and so dysfunctional that anyone shopping at a this app mall is better off using the paper brochures.

Well, I never thought I would be the person who would be writing a review about shopping, but here goes. It is really a pleasure to be able to find items for your whole family, at great prices.
Often times if my family hears I’m heading out to this app, they will give me a list of items to pickup while I’m out there. I love looking for bargains, and feeling like I got so much for so little.

Excellent improvement over the previous version! Extremely easy to use and fast to load! So nice to have all of my coupons and rewards in one place for easy access while in the stores!

I love Tanger.. So far! I read the terrible reviews & decided to download anyways. I have no idea what people are complaining about! My location (NY) was on the list. Every negative people mentioned, I found to be the opposite for me! :) I have yet to use Tanger AT the outlets, but I def will!!

ONLY CON: The only con I can see is that it can't map your current location on the mall map. As in, you can't see a "YOU ARE HERE" on the mall map-- that would be 5 stars!

All previous receipts are missing since app changeover and when you try to add them yourselves (which is almost impossible....don’t ever think you will be able to get the full receipt in picture as they request 😜) they don’t show up as pending or being added at all! Though my total did go up... Also, if you forget if you’ve added a receipt, there’s no way to tell if you did or not because no receipts are listed like previously! Not smart to change this aspect

Since getting a new phone and updating my iOS I have lost the Receipt Capture function. I am no longer able to upload receipts from my phone. I have looked through Tanger from top to bottom and I can no longer find that feature. I am logged into Tanger but the My this app Club part keeps asking me to sign up. Please fix the functionality of Tanger as it is much easier to upload receipts from home than having to make a trip to shopper services each time.

I have deleted and re downloaded your app three times. It still does not move past the main screen where you enter email address and supposed to tap next ... NEXT option never highlights to go forward.

App gives me exactly what I’m looking for without having to go through a ton of pages. Love that I can store my coupons and special offers in the wallet and then pull it up quickly when I shop

First, I have a bunch of receipts that never shows up giving me points. You can even see them in the history.

Second, I used the receipt entry tool and it won't register anything with the date of Oct 31, 2015. I select that date in the tool, but when I hit done, it puts Oct 30 instead of Oct 31 like what's on the receipt.

FYI, it's more than Tanger also. Using the website, my pints still don't show up even though I have a bunch of receipts I input throughout the last couple years.

For some reason I can no longer log into Tanger . This has been very frustrating as I can’t submit receipts for points. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Tanger many times and have made sure I am on a good wifi connection, I can get to the part where I put my password in then all I get is a blank screen. This is also the most updated version I’m at my wits end with this stupid app, I love the savings at the outlets and love the extra coupons in Tanger but I hate it.

⬇I love looking at Tanger to catch the deals at this app. The huge problem that makes Tanger unusable to me is that Tanger does not appear in Notification Center to turn off the badges or anything else. This is a huge problem for me because I put Tanger in a folder and it throws off the whole folder.⬇

🆕1.9.4 Update🆕
The new update has fixed all the problems I complained about in the old version however it brings a new problem where it is constantly using GPS in the background. Luckily iOS gives me the option to turn off the location services for Tanger. I will just have to remember to turn it on when I actually want to use Tanger .

Love the coupons and deals but never fails that I cannot access Tanger *only* when I’m at the mall/stores. Doesn’t matter if I’m on the this app Guest WiFi or using my phone data. And when I ask the clerks about the coupons to make sure I’m not missing the deals, they don’t have any ideas what’s being offered.

Downloaded app when I was at a this app Outlets to find my way around but has been quite useful in keeping me up to date with deals - very helpful deciding when to go next.

This is the second update since I complained via email that I can’t login to Tanger even though I can login just fine online - and the person kept emailing me to tell me to reset my password, even though the problem is that Tanger doesn’t even try to accept the password. The last update claimed to fix the issue. Seriously, fix this! Tanger is useless without logging in.

The recent updates have made using Tanger so much easier! Love that I can find my deals right here when I’m shopping.

I downloaded Tanger to take advantage of a coupon. When I try to create an account it gives me an error saying I need an Address1 and valid country ID, but there is NO place to enter this info! I also tried to preview the coupon book before buying it but the Preview button doesn’t work, only the Purchase button works.

Tanger is a waste of time and space! Ridiculous with all the negative reviews for over year that they wouldn’t fix how you can register. Bottom line, you can’t register via Tanger . You have to have access to a desktop and register, then wait a few days and you can login. Dear this app, please fix this for your customers.

It never fails, I CANNOT access Tanger when I'm at the outlets. I've tried at my home outlets in Hilton Head, and Savannah outlets. It's so frustrating! I've connected to their wifi and still not able too. I can only access when I'm not at the outlets.

Downloaded. Inserted email and password. Couldn’t use receipt feature . Reset password four times . Still couldn’t open the feature . Skip Tanger . Even downloaded the update. Still full of bugs. Don’t bother!

Every bit as crappy as all the other users have claimed. The only saving grace was the map (non interactive one). For this, I give two stars instead of one.

If u like a map that opens with South at the top (btw this app techies, that’s upside down) and asks iOS for your location but then doesn’t show it to you on the upside down map then this is app for you. this app seem like a big company, so why put this junk out?

You can’t get to the coupons because it continually says you don’t have strong enough reception. That’s ridiculous! I have unlimited data.
