MonkeyMoteMusicRemote flat out doesn’t work. Two dollars wasted trying to put music on my iPhone X. Don’t waste your $2. Yes, I tried every suggestion they made “click here”, etc. Nothing!

The plugin you need to download on your computer has a virus and Norton wont let it be installed. So I never got to use it. I want a refund!!

For media monkey there's no other program I'm aware of that does what monkey mote does. Works well once set up but is hard to configure. I can't get it to auto reconnect if the connection is lost or find my ip. I always have to manually configure or reconfigure if I reset my modem. That being said I would buy this again. It's just to convenient when I need to be somewhere else in the house and want to change tunes. Lots if updates. They're trying . . . . 3 1/2 stars.

When it connects, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I have a hard time staying connected to my desktop computer (and I'm in a studio apartment so it's not a distance/router issue). Still worth the price, but I'm docking another star for charging separately for the iPad version. Would be nice to have, but paying twice for the same app is pretty lame.

This is a big help to those of us who are not willing to dump Winamp just because we bought an iOS device. It is fast and has enough features to be very useful, and setup is easy. Songs can be queued or played immediately when selected, depending on a setting in MonkeyMoteMusicRemote . Access to the media library is key. You can search by artist, album, or genre. The only thing it is missing is the ability to search by song title.

Works seamlessly with Media Monkey. Album art, controls, work real good. The tweaks needed are with the interface. Knowing which button to push to Search versus doing other things is not apparent. And the feedback from MonkeyMoteMusicRemote , like to enqueue an entire album....I never know if it was successful unless I back out of the menu and go look at the queue. Good app though!

Search my entire NAS of music easily and control the whole thing from anywhere in the house, all for two bucks. My neighbors have spent 5 figures on whole house audio that is not any better

One of my favorite app. I can remote Winamp even in bed :) Totally worth it 👏 also thanks for floating search bar functionality :)

In addition km player and vlc player remote would be perfect :)

I have been waiting on a winamp remote with media library support, this works perfect. Setup was easy and it even auto discovered my connection, no IP input needed! It's flawless so far!

This is the perfect utility for controlling Winamp remotely within my house. I have my PC, which has Winamp running, airplaying to my house's Sonos setup. With MonkeyMoteMusicRemote I can easily control what is playing no matter what room I am in.

I've been looking for an app that would let me use my phone for a remote control. I tried several others, and setting them up was a pain. This one picked up all of my equipment right away and it works great. Highly recommend.

Has all the features I would really need for a remote. Would love to see a simple folder view for the media library though. With an extensive library and so many artists/titles, searching just doesn't provide enough accurate results. Other than that keep up the good work.

I don't like wasting screen space just to know what song I'm playing, so I use my phone as a second screen for my music. MonkeyMoteMusicRemote performs perfectly for that. I can control the entire media player, display beautiful artwork, and look up and display lyrics if I feel like singing along. I rarely experience disconnection issues and there never seems to be any lag time. I highly recommend for the MediaMonkey enthusiast.

MonkeyMoteMusicRemote is so good I find myself wishing it was a standalone player for my iPhone's music collection. As a matter of fact, I do wish it was a also a standalone player for my iPhone's music collection. It's that beautiful and functional and light years better than any music player apps currently available. It allows you to surf through your collection in multiple ways, with multiple sortable views just as if you were sitting at your computer. Shutdown and suspend options are great additions.

Fully capable of navigating your MediaMonkey music collection while freeing you up to move around the house while listening to your tunes. Not to mention, the beautiful interface. Clean, simple, elegant and best of all totally functional.

Worth it! I used the lite version for a month and decided to upgrade. I am using WinAmp as a music server in my house and love changing things on the fly anywhere in my house without having to go to the server. I did not have to open any ports inside my house router to connect. Easy install. Very clean.

Wow what a great way to access your music library and listen while away from computer or like me as a way to run audio in multiple locations in your house by way of a multi room amp without have to schlep back to the computer every time you want to add songs to your playlist, in a word it works slick as monkey ... you know.

fair warning ... when you download and install monkeymote it knows if your music catalog is a mess so spend some time with a music file tagger and clean it up ... took me 5 days ( yeah I have alot of music ) but now it's like I have my own cyberspace music room.

I use monkeymote with Winamp and the reason I gave MonkeyMoteMusicRemote 4 stars and not five are the following

Enque and play button WIPES out all music in your play list VERY annoying and while re queuing is pretty easy (it's a bit frustrating if its a long playlist) it would be nice if that "button" of music death just added the song at the end of the playlist and played it

Also would love to see streaming ability for Winamp with Shoutcast and the ability to stream directly to my iPhone while at home so I can enjoy my music without disturbing everyone in the house.

All in all a great music remote and believe me I am serious about my music and have wasted money on inferior remotes don't waste your money on any other app if your a music head like me this is the one
