Another subscription that users will abandon. When we buy something, the expectation is that you can continue to use it.

Subscriptions are killing MyEyesOnly Store. Too much greed. No one is no longer willing write an app and just sell it. They all now expect you to pay them for life.

Good Bye!!

Smart app developers will come along and pick up the slack!

Update to Developer:

Users already paid for MyEyesOnly . Making them pay again is unfair.

It like taking a car to the mechanic to fix something. You pay him to fix it. You don’t have to continue to support him for the rest of his life because he fixed your car once.

Just listen to the users before it’s too late. People Do Not Like Subscriptions and specially after they paid for a product!!

2nd Update to Developer:

Apparently you don’t read reviews and just put the same message for all your one star ratings. Read my note to you about pay to have your car repaired. You only pay once for that repair, you don’t have to support the mechanic for life!!

If he fixes my car again I will pay him again. Come up with a version with enough worthy changes that a users wants to buy, and we will buy it.

But no subscriptions! The longer you fight it and leave you nasty remark to the users, the more users you will lose.

I started moving all my documents over to another secure platform and you app will be deleted tomorrow!!

I have used MyEyesOnly for some time, and paid to be able to add as many pictures as I needed to.

Now this ability to add more photos that I paid for years ago has been taken away.

I don’t want any new updates, I just want MyEyesOnly that I paid you years ago to be able to use.

Make the subscription necessary for new users, but respect the transaction you made with the people that already paid you to be able to add more photos.

I am researching other apps that I can use instead of this one.

I repeat: I do not care about any new features. I paid for an app that would allow me to save photos, and now I can’t do that basic thing that I paid you to let me do.

You have my money, and I no longer have what I paid you for.

My app auto-updated a couple of days ago and then all my stuff was gone! Years of important document scans. Gone. Because of a bug. I used MyEyesOnly to *secure* my stuff — not lose it. They are now suggesting I wait for the next release and then restore my phone from before the current version. Umm... No. Completely, unforgivable.

Do not trust this developer.

Bought MyEyesOnly around the time of the first ipad, worked great and was pretty cheap, about $3 at the time. This was before in app purchases came along.

Upgraded to an iPad mini and installed it. App required me to buy the ability to break the picture limit. Restore purchases didn't work. So I contacted customer service where they told me to take a leap.

Avoid this product and this developer!!!

MyEyesOnly has ceased to work for almost 2 years. It does not work with the latest iOS version. It does not allow access to the camera roll to import photos. More importantly if you had MyEyesOnly earlier before the software release from apple, you cannot export any pictures in it BACK to the camera roll. I mean their tag line says it all...”New features for iOS 8”....really??? How long ago was that??? If it could be given lower then one star, I would.

Great app before. Then an update ~ a few months ago. Asked you to change from passcode to password. Then crashes every time you enter PW. Many updates later, still the same. They asked for crash dumps on App Store. Sent several. Only non automated email I received was asking why I sent crash dumps. No support or acknowledgement. Waste of money to subscribe, but worst was loss of data and no way to retrieve/recover. Unresponsive to emails.

I get a message that MyEyesOnly must be registered (box checked) in Settings, Privacy, Photos before I can import photos. However, MyEyesOnly does not appear in the list of apps using Photos... there is nothing to check off. I wasted $9.99 adding the upgrade. Contacting support is a waste of time because they only accept inquiries from “registered users.” And, guess what? There is no place to register.

Was a great Great app, had a minor hiccup because i didn’t update it then they patched it and now useless
Had to change review. They upgraded MyEyesOnly and made it unusable for people who previously paid for MyEyesOnly . Contacted developer and they don’t care. I didn’t want an upgraded product. I wanted the product i previously paid for. My paid app is useless
Refused to refund previously paid cost
And their response about building t from scratch
Like the previous guy posted
You built me a car, i paid for it
Then you broke the car i owned and want me to pay you for a new car when my previous car was working fine
These developers are greedy and only interested in your money
Time to move to PhotoVault and they have video support which MyEyesOnly charges you a subscription for

Was a great app, been using it for ages but no longer. This is an example of how NOT to handle a transition. Other apps leave you with your existing functionality but have you subscribe to get new features. That’s okay but to strip you of features you had to make more money just feels like a shakedown. Developer really could of handled this in a much better. Won’t be bothering with MyEyesOnly in the future, just stick with the previous version instead.

Edit: We understand about making money and aren’t knocking that but if our development group handled the transition as poorly as you have, we’d probably be looking for a new project to work on.

I’m good with subscriptions, you’ve got to be able to afford to keep it going, but MyEyesOnly won’t recognize that I’ve paid. Subscription window keeps popping up even after restarting MyEyesOnly , restoring purchases, etc.

Been a long time user of MyEyesOnly, but think its time it gets some upgrades. Backup to icloud would be nice as well as login using touchID too.

Easy to use. Works well. Wish transferred photos could be enlarged. And that by "push and hold", one could move them around. Lastly the option to erase them from place of origin like iPhone photos, eliminating having to go back there and accomplish it. Very useful though.

Purchased this two years ago and worked fine. After transferring my private pictures and using gor a while one day it wouldnt alliw me to send the pictures and all i got when i tried to send is the letter “C”. There is absolutely NO support for MyEyesOnly if you need help. Dont buy!

The encryption is so fast it almost seems like a regular photo browser. I’ve also downloaded large videos off the internet and it imported fast and plays great. The video scrubbing is smooth and fast. I do want Bach up storage of my content.

Purchased year subscription but app continues not allowing me to add pictures. Need your immediate attention and fix. Thanks.

After this review, App contacted me to notify their updates to resolve the issue. All good now. Thanks for quick response!

MyEyesOnly was pretty much perfect , I had thousands of documents & pics saved . But when Apple upgraded to IOS8 , MyEyesOnly simply WILL NOT OPEN . I use an older IPad 2 . Have emailed customer service many many times but App will not work anymore & apparently lost 1000's of important & family pics & documents. Do not Use MyEyesOnly , eventually it will not open & all is lost

I've finally found a reliable picture vault for me and my girlfriend the picture reel as we call it is really great we just wish we could pause the picture reel more comfortably sometimes it doesn't allow pause that aside its the best picture vault we've used thank you and we are looking forward to any changes you guys and girls make in the future 🙂

I am very satisfied with this private photos security app. I have photos I definitely don't want friends or family to see, and MyEyesOnly locks them away so they remain a secret, visible only to me.

I have used MyEyesOnly for storage of docs and information that I didn't want just anyone to see. I found that it is very easy to use and dose a outstanding job. All of their Apps are good !

This seems to be a great app! I've only had it about a month, however, it does all it says it will do. It will save my pictures and whatever information I've saved by a screenshot and be able to import whatever I need to send to someone else. It is certainly a seemingly a great app so far!

This is only my 2nd day, with MyEyesOnly. Smooth Sailing So Far. As long as there are No Significant Changes, that hamper the use of MyEyesOnly, it will remain 5 Stars in my Book.
I will do a follow up Review, if it Radically, Changes For the Worst. Keep Up The Good Work Guys!!! I dumped another Photo App, because when I changed Phones, I Lost all my Photos on that App. No BackUp. Luckily, the Cloud, had my Photos. The Kid
