Everything has improved even more! One last fix.

Need I say more? Everything looks better, functions better, and gifs and videos no longer lag. All of it, I’m impressed, really. 5 stars. Simple as that.

One last fix. The newest update has certainly helped with this, but the color black seems to be distorted somewhat. If for example you have a picture of text from something on your phone, then the black lines of the words may seem a little different than from where you got it from. The same seems to be true of pictures (although it is very hard to notice now.)

Also I haven’t been able to try with a video since downloading a video into SafetyPhotoVideoPro seems to take a long time. I will attempt it again.

Almost there

A few things I like about SafetyPhotoVideoPro: The basic functionality is there, and it’s polished. . It’s a paid app, no ads but also no ongoing subscription fees. If you but the add-on, you can sync to iCloud, which most similar apps won’t do.

What I don’t like: 1) It’s way too easy to accidentally hit the upgrade button, as I did, and you don’t even know how much you’re being charged for the add-on. 2) Inside photo albums there is no way to create a custom ordering of the photos by moving the images around. The only way to influence the sort order is by renaming the photos one by one, which is a lot of work.

A nice-to-have would be the ability to import/export to a folder in the Files app instead of importing from albums in Photos. And when selecting photos to import from an album in Photos, it would be nice to be able to swipe over multiple photos to select them instead of having to tap each one separately. Finally, it would be helpful to be able to organize albums into folders.

Great app, highly recommend

Used SafetyPhotoVideoPro for many years. The new ui looks clean and polished. But it came with some bugs, video couldn’t be scrolled with your finger or skip backwards or forward. I emailed the developers some suggestions, and they jumped on it since I wasn’t the only one with similar issues. After the last three updates everything is working perfectly like it used to. Five stars, these guys rock. They do take the time to listen to the users and read the emails about any concerns one might have.

Great app but latest update is disappointing.

I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for a long time and been very happy with the control and security, it has been excellent. The last update has removed a layer of control that I find to be a step backwards. The ability to lock certain folder with an added and separate pass is a feature that made SafetyPhotoVideoPro outstanding. Now the home page shows all folders along with an additional folder labeled “All Photos”. Opening this folder displays all photos in all folders, even the folders that had previously been protected with another layer of protection by a second pass assigned to that folder. This doesn’t allow separation of private folders from less important images such as personal information, financial data, ID and password storage, etc. If this isn’t re-evaluated by the developers I well be looking for another app that can perform this type of feature.

Privacy????!!!

Facing the recent update to SafetyPhotoVideoPro w/ its purported changes and recent issues with other apps and recent updates,I decided to research the reviews. I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for years. Unfortunately, I never reviewed the developer’s privacy policy until I noticed a May review that noted concern about the privacy policy. I reviewed the policy and was likewise shocked. I promptly transferred all my pictures & videos from SafetyPhotoVideoPro and deleted it. My condolences to those who suffered losses by this recent update.

As noted by another recent reviewer, I question a privacy app that touts keeping prying eyes away and would be uploading private pictures & videos to its servers; especially w/o mention of encryption or other statements of security. It also appears to me that the developer’s identification has seemingly changed. “Sixbits” or whatever isn’t what I remember coming up all the time. BEWARE!!!

Frequent updates but nothing new added

Good app and fast loading of large libraries but still exists is the bug where once you organize your iCloud library and install SafetyPhotoVideoPro on a different device, the library organization explodes and your albums are all over the place. Months back I provided feedback that a sort button would resolve this by being able to sort by A to Z but no such feature added.

For the last 8 months the update history reflects minor update to fix bugs and added new features but yet nothing has changed with SafetyPhotoVideoPro in those last 8 months. Just a generic update post being used rather than a breakdown of what exactly has been fixed or added.

No longer working

I am not 100% sure that you wanted SafetyPhotoVideoPro to stop working with your most recent update but it no longer works. I would suggest that instead of putting an app update out just to put it out so you feel important or that you’re needing to address some thing that you might want to make sure SafetyPhotoVideoPro actually works before you push out an update. I’ll push the back up to four stars when SafetyPhotoVideoPro actually works so hoping to see an update soon.

Picture quality worse

Warning: picture quality is worse than original photo! Its been that way since the beginning. DON’T BE FOOLED! I decided to download this 3 or 4 years later. It’s still the same. Everyone should compare quality carefully. At first it might seems the same but if you look closer it’s blurrier edge. Best way to tell I was able to read letter clearer in original than I were able to in this compressed photo. Whatever you do DO NOT DELETE ORIGINAL photo after importing photos. You will lose your original photo for a worse compress photo. Until they update it for same picture quality I would not recommend SafetyPhotoVideoPro. Try Photo Vault instead

Feature

SafetyPhotoVideoPro is good. It would be even better if there was an option to play videos and photos in succession, like in a playlist. Perhaps give options for how long a photo would be displayed 5 or 10 seconds and also have the option for a “Ken Burns” effect for the photos. For individual videos and playlists; the obvious repeat one, repeat all and shuffle option would be good.

Great App that I’ve had for years

I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for years! Every once in a while when I clean out my photos and videos, I accidentally delete some pictures that I don’t mean to erase. SafetyPhotoVideoPro provides a space for those pictures to stay safe from my mistakes.

The only thing I don’t like is that the new update removes the ability to easily scrub through a video. Please fix this! Otherwise, a great app that keeps all of your personal stuff safe and private!!

Update failed me

With the recent changes in SafetyPhotoVideoPro I’m unable to get to any of my photos. I follow the instructions but when I got to the point where it asked for a pattern it wouldn’t except the pattern I had previously. Now I am unable to access my photos and there doesn’t seem to be any way around that. I rate it less than one star but they won’t allow that.

Customer support and app are both amazing

I had an issue with not being able to access my albums after an update. Couldn’t figure out how to bypass whatever password was put on them by the update. I emailed customer support and they got back to me with the solution in a few hours(on New Years Eve). App works perfect again! Thank you so much! SafetyPhotoVideoPro is amazing!

It’s OK

So it works pretty good. There are 2 big problems:
1) It doesn’t delete the photos/videos you just saved. Uh, every other photo vault app that I’ve tried does that. I wouldn’t think that it would be hard to do.
2) The stupid nag pop-up. I paid for ad free, but every so often when I go into SafetyPhotoVideoPro , it pops up a nag pop-up about trying their other apps. If I said no to it once, why does it keep asking. If I wanted to try your other apps, I already would have & if the other apps also have this nag pop-up, I wouldn’t use them anyway...

Pictures and videos

Not a good program. I used to put my pictures and videos inside this program, and when the program was updated, all the existing pictures and videos disappeared, and there is no way to return the pictures and videos, and this thing made me angry about the programs in the Apple Store and I do not know the reason for the updates that make the programs heavier on the phone and If the program is updated, I cannot enter the program, or when I enter the program, it exits me.

Can any of you please help me if I can return the pictures and videos.

Thanks.

Big problem with the new update

I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for years now and it’s a great appBut with this new update I can’t use SafetyPhotoVideoPro anymore because I used arabic letters and number for the password but now it’s only give the choice for Latin number
So I can’t inter my password and I can’t use SafetyPhotoVideoPro
I have a lot of precious pics and I need a solution plz

Highly recommended again!

On previous update, I just lost it. I lost photos, images etc. Updates that followed fixed all. But GUI was worse than before!
Current update has brought back previous video controls and more! It is the best version ever!
I highly recommend it

Bring the file counter back

Long time ago it was a file counter while being in full screen mode so you could have an idea on which file you were and how many left you had in a folder, now that option is gone.

Also there was a time when SafetyPhotoVideoPro “remembers” where you left (last item viewed in folder and which file), now that option is also gone.

Disturbing privacy policy

Not sure why a privacy-minded app would have this in their privacy policy (first sentence for context):

“As such, we may also request access to your device’s photo roll or camera in order for us to upload your media to SafetyPhotoVideoPro . Any media uploaded in this fashion, will be collected and stored on our servers.”

Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t see anything in that app that would lead to any sort of cloud-base storage on their servers. There is no reason any media in SafetyPhotoVideoPro should be going to their servers for legitimate purposes.

Great but need some work

I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for years. It was great at the beginning. Everything worked perfectly. It starting to annoy me lately. When ever I try to upload photos or videos from iTunes or import from camera roll it wouldn’t save in order. For example: img_12, img_13, img_14,.... it wouldn’t save them in order. They are all over. Is there a way to sort them by name?

Premium features for a single time purchase

When I was looking for a photo lock app this was the only one where it wasn’t a monthly subscription for BASIC features!

SafetyPhotoVideoPro has no forced payments, no pop ups, no ads, only premium features and a excellent app.

By

Frustated

I was created one folder and the first time I had loaded the photos and videos perfectly , but when I tried to load more photos & videos from the camera roll doesn’t work! I try to créate a new one folder for load into this one and the try to move to decided folder and definitely no more photos or videos could be loaded! A half of work done! A half of punctuation for app! My Good! You have only one month since your last release and this still happening?

Still waiting on Live Photo support

Been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro for years and loved it. It’s simple and doesn’t change file names which was a plus, easy to sort and move back and forth, and it kept the original file sizes. But now it’s been 3 years since Apple has introduced Live Photo’s and there is still no support for that, I suppose portrait mode would be impossible at this point as well.

Awesome Apps. But

I am going to give 5 Stars On This Apps Own Merits. My ONLY Issue is I Liked ALL your Apps so much I purchased them. Eg. Notepad Plus . Problem is you have not updated it in 3 years!!!! Why Abandon Such nice apps even a UI facelift something to let me know you have not abandoned apps Like so many other developers in SafetyPhotoVideoPro store

By

Good but outdated uploader

The WiFi upload is outdated as it used a flash based interface. SafetyPhotoVideoPro will become obsolete in a short time if that does not get updated. Edge and chrome are no longer supporting flash and results in false information being passed between browser and mobile. The only way to WiFi upload currently is through Firefox.

By

Pretty great!

Works really well! Love the features! I just wish it saved the date on which the file was created instead of it being the upload date.

By

In but not out

On initial setup, all the photos I wanted to hide showed up in the hidden album and disappeared from my regular photo album. I really like the slideshow feature.

Later when I added photos, they showed up in the hidden album but did not disappear from the regular photo album.

I cannot find a way to get back to the home page after you use the edit function without quitting the program.

I also cannot find a way to export the photos back into the regular photo album.

Issue resolved

They promptly fixed the previous issue with videos not saving to camera roll as video. Great app and have been using it for years.

📢 The Best Privacy App 🏆

📢 If you need privacy for your photos and videos, well look no further. Still not confidence, it even has Touch ID and GPS Location to help you catch intruders on break in. I rate SafetyPhotoVideoPro. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

By

Missing slideshow feature

Some updates ago the slideshow feature was removed. Please bring it back

By

Horrible after update!

Can’t save gifs anymore and re-send them . Once you save a gif you can’t re-send it and still have it work. It becomes a still photo! Never had this issue until the update. App looks up a lot too during sign in in. Very disappointing after all the years I’ve been using SafetyPhotoVideoPro. Currently looking for a new app to use !

Very handy App

I've had a couple photo safes but none compare to this one for user friendliness. I would like to see fingerprint signings in the future though...

Great

This is the best app for keeping photos that only I can see. It’s the best that I have found. I have search all the others, none beat SafetyPhotoVideoPro,
