This is the worst app for video playback I have ever used

1) literally the native video player for iOS would be so much better and more intuitive than what they have here. It’s choppy, not optimized for different devices(for example on my iPhone 7 the buttons are mapped fine but on my XS max literally none of the buttons are mapped to the right areas of the screen), and it doesn’t even support true full screen.
2) whenever I check into an event, it blocks me from looking at all teams in that event. This clearly is not intentional because the website doesn’t work this way
3) just not a very good ui.
4) highlights section is wasted, either allow players to make their own highlights or don’t include it because no one I know has any highlights from several seasons of playing at ballertv streamed events.
Personally I am ending my subscription to ballertv. I will instead invest in personal recording equipment and I suggest everyone else do the same. It’s going to cost less money over time, it’s more practical and efficient, and you can even set it up to stream live and as many people as you want can watch without having to worry about paying. I seriously could not discourage other people for paying for ballertv more.
Also, if you get your own equipment you can get higher quality. Even the full downloads I get from them have never been higher than standard definition which in some cases makes it so you can’t even see the ball or numbers.

worst app ever. i have no idea why leagues use PlayersOnly. there must be a dearth of options. get your act together. parents who cannot attend tournaments are begging you. apple should delete your app.

PlayersOnly is very deceiving! Tells you in the largest bold letters that it’s so much a month and then in fine print you’re actually billed annually. There’s no customer service number so we spent over an hour on their chat service and were told no refunds are given and the best they could do is charge us quarterly and we’re downgraded to their lowest package. I’ll be making a written complaint on this company. We’re just trying to watch our daughters weekend games and they obviously don’t make enough money so they need to trick people into their service. Just thought others should know so you know what to expect like the company should tell you up front.

Can’t even log in. App asks for your phone number you used to sign up. Well the issue is, when you sign up on the website it doesn’t ask you for your phone number at all!

Purchased membership to watch family’s team play and deeply disappointed in my investment. Streaming quality is choppy at best and often buffering. Provide a better service with the astronomical amount of money you charge families.

I’m trying to watch my games from a tournament but every time I try to join my team it shows a loading screen and goes back to the same screen. Other people were able to access the games and I’m very frustrated I can’t look back at them.

I signed up to watch my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Out of 6 matches, only 2 worked. The rest stopped after a few minutes due to a “poor internet connection”. Not sure if BallerTv uses their own hotspot or the venue’s, but they’re totally unreliable. Of the 2 matches I watched, the quality was very poor. I paid $75 for a 3-month membership, and asked for a refund and to cancel my account. They only agreed to a 20% discount. So I paid about $60 to catch a third of the games. Frustrating.

i’m trying to check myself in as an athlete and i can’t. when i enter my jersey number it loads and takes me back to the same screen. disappointed.

Huge Scam!!!! They offer "monthly" subscriptions that you "can cancel anytime" and charge you by the year. If you sign up to watch one game or tournament, they charge you $100s of dollars and say to read the fine print.

Every time we’re watching a game it freezes on us not worth what we spend on it. By the way they say it’s $7.99 month but they collect the full year at one time. This was the first and last time we subscribe for their service.

Don’t use this company. I paid to be able to watch my daughter play volleyball. I have been able to watch only 2 games completely. They always have camera, personnel, connectivity issues, etc. Nothing but excuses. This is a crap company. Save your money.

I subscribed to BallerTV to watch my Granddaughter’s volleyball game in January. They were not allowing spectators. Based on BallerTV ad I was understood that it would cost $12.99 a month and I could cancel anytime. They automatically charged me for a year ($155.88) and when I tried to cancel they said none of it was refundable! They did not say it was a year minimum nor that they would charge the whole amount at once! I want 11 months payment back!! Very questionable company with questionable practices and no way to talk to anyone at the company. Are others of you having similar experiences?

Save your money, or lose it. Paid $119 for a year’s service. Saw one volleyball tournament. Terrible camera angle. Tuned in 3 weeks later, for second tournament. Amazingly not available. No response from Baller. SCAM, avoid.

Event: Volley by the James in Richmond Va A lot of money for very poor camera angle. You set up on the end of the court if your team was on the opposite end, which ours was, you couldn’t see them. Check out the replay for yourself. I would be ashamed as a company to take someone’s money for this type of return. On top of that your application crashed and we missed one whole match due to application error. Once again check it out yourself. If it was your child you were trying to see because of the no spectator rule, you would not be satisfied. This is the set up at the Richmond Convention Center only. Other two venues did it right.
