I paid for it, but it still shows free version. I have also tried to restore the purchase. Deleted LondonTravelGuide and reinstalled it. Still no luck.!
I didn't even touch my phone screen and the next thing I know I have been charged $3.99
I purchased the upgrade for the maps but it wouldn’t download.
Look elsewhere
Lots of text, very little of it useful. Wikipedia is probably a better substitute. No location-based content, no tube stations mentioned near a point of interest (so you know how to get there), non-intuitive interface and worst of all they charge for a map, which never seems available. Many better options out there.
It says it has available offline maps in the free version, but it does not. You have to upgrade to get the maps.
Would be much better if the entire screen wasn’t taken up by an Ad asking you to buy the full version every 5 seconds. Plus most of the features you have to buy beforehand, like offline maps, which isn’t advertised until after you’ve downloaded LondonTravelGuide .
It's a good concept for a traveling app, especially when one doesn't want to carry around a travel guide book. However, I didn't like that you had to pay to unlock places around London. I find it pretty silly, but I did like that it had information in LondonTravelGuide about each site that someone would want to visit.
Over all: London Travel Guide is okay, it's a good start. Would I use this for traveling to London? Probably not; especially if there is a better app out there.
LondonTravelGuide is great for exploring London without being there! It has a few bugs that need to be worked out, but other than that it’s a great London travel guide!
Because I knew I would not have internet access while sightseeing in London I chose LondonTravelGuide. I used it everyday and found it to be an excellent tool for getting around the city.

London travel guide is an awesome app to have whether you plan on going to London or not the information on the brochure are interesting. There's things you might think you know but there's a lot more that you don't know, and LondonTravelGuide catches my eyes and my curiosity gets the best of me and makes me want to explore these areas and see the history.

This london travel guide is outstanding to use. They have offline maps you can download and really interesting facts about main visitor locations. They have a day planner too where they give you ideas on what to do on day 1, day 2, and so on. This will make my next trip to London much more fun.
