Bottom line is this software is stupid. Who is going to always run it on screen on mobile device. Of course u need to monimize it. Once minimized it dies. Waste of time and effort.
If you guys wanted to write a software for iphone and came up with this, you should better not offer iOS app at all.
Miserable app, not only the engine but the UI too - ugly looking useless app.
Cool app but screen freezes often when I'm in a chat! I have to exit then rejoin almost every time and to me that's a major problem because it becomes useless. Hopefully an update comes or I'm switching
App seems to work however it is missing the main feature you would want - notification. You need to keep LiveChatSoftware running if you want to see a visitor chat request. Update please!
The very fact that a chat service offers an iPhone/iPad app is pretty amazing. It's the main reason we chose this service over all of the others. It's great to be able to login with an iPad rather than being tied to a computer. That being said, you do give up a lot of cool features that can be accessed through the PC or Mac versions. These include the option to access custom responses or send a URL to the client. The PC version is extraordinarily rich in customizing options, but none of this is yet available with the IOS version.
I can appreciate that an iPhone screen is perhaps too small to make this work. The best way to implement this would be through a full featured iPad version. Perhaps it will come with a future update. But, for now, I'm at least happy that I can monitor our live web support account while using my iPad. In that respect it works quite well.
