The this app eEdition app is offered by participating publications to let subscribers read an exact replica of the print edition on an iPad or iPhone. Readers can quickly navigate the entire publication using iOS multi-gestures. Swipe to browse pages or sections or tap a live headline or page number to reach your favorite article. A thumbnail view lets you scan all the pages at once. To read a story, just tap to zoom the page image, or tap to article mode and read the whole story, including jumps, in the text window at the font size you prefer. The eEdition will also let you easily find topics using the section and story index, or find any ad or story via a full text search of words contained in the copy. The eEdition is published on the same schedule as the print edition. Just open the app to get the latest edition for on-line or off-line reading. You can also access back issues that you might have missed.To use, just download the app and select your publication. Access typically requires an account login and password that is provided to subscribers. Check with your publication for details. The app provides free access to a demo edition so you can try out the eEdition before subscribing. If you subscribe to several participating papers, the app will let you switch among them.

Great App
I have been using the app for a week now while on vacation. I downloaded it because the e-edition of my local paper was so BAD! This app is really easy to use and is what I thought my local app should have been all alone. I can't speak to the other issues folks have had, I use it on an iPhone 5 and an iPad 2, both with the latest iOS updates.

App Works Very Well
After reading the negative reviews, I almost didn't download this app, but I'm glad that I did anyway. This app is simple to use and fairly intuitive to navigate. I've been using it for the past week or so to read my local newspaper on my iPad and it's worked very well. It is a big improvement over the previous e-edition version. If you're having problems with the app, try removing it and downloading it again. Also make sure that your device has the latest software version installed.

Nice App, But.....
I never had a problem with the app. Took me awhile to get used to differences with other e-version app for other papers I subscribe to. I do have a problem with what to do when I wanted to cancel. Contact names/numbers hidden and very difficult to locate. Also, do I contact News Memory or newspapers? I am gong to call the subscription service at the newspaper to see if they can help me. I hope they have heard of News Memory!
