This appeared to be exactly what I needed. unfortunately, it was a bust for me. App description says it sends reminders in the form of a text message. I never received a text though. The only thing I received was a notification banner which appeared across the top of my screen for about 1 second... Show more ...NO TEXT MESSAGE. There’s no option for trouble-shooting in HiFutureSelf & no option for settings either!!!

It does what it says. But honestly the reminder app that comes on every iPhone does the exact same thing as HiFutureSelf. You can set a reminder for any time in the future and it'll pop up on your screen reminding you to do that thing at that time. From what I can see HiFutureSelf does the same t... Show more hing.

Is there a way to have it day time only? ie: have hourly reminder during daytime hours?

This is a nice looking light version of Apple’s native Reminders app.
Thank you for listing reminders in chronological order. This makes HiFutureSelf useful if you have more than a handful of reminders.
Please consider adding iCloud sync and a search function. Since there is no Contacts inte... Show more gration please expand the recent list of GPS locations from 3 to 10. Also useful would be an option when entering a geofence for a delayed Notification of 5 minutes to an hour. For example, when you break the geofence you may still have to park or ride an elevator so you may get to your office 15 minutes after breaking the geofence. I used this feature on an old 32 bit app that I can no longer run. It was very useful.

I’m surprised and pleased. I don’t think it can be any simpler... All they have to do now to save the World is add a limited Salvo List of recipients. Allowing HiFutureSelf to send the notice to a group of addresses from your contact list ..

I could not live without HiFutureSelf. However, with the newest iOS, it has been crashing and my phone sends me actual notifications telling me that unless HiFutureSelf is updated, it will slow my phone down. I will continue using this until it no longer opens (as it did even actually on my old p... Show more hone) but please create a more compatible version!

i love HiFutureSelf . its useful. I'm so happy you upgraded it, because I had iOS 10 with an iOS 6 app. 😂 but good luck on your knee surgery.

Thank you to the developer for listening to my suggestion for an iPad version. Now works perfectly in landscape mode. HiFutureSelf does exactly what it says. Write yourself an email for a reminder sometime in the future. It will show up right when you need it.

Review Update: I have completely stopped using HiFutureSelf because it will not work on an iPad in landscape mode.

• Here’s a request to the developer (whom I have previously contacted via email on this issue). Please adapt this to iPad and landscape mode.

There are a large number of people who would use HiFutureSelf if it would work in landscape mode. For any type of writing or written communication I use an iPad almost exclusively. I use a keyboard. I use something other than Hi Future Self that actually works.

HiFutureSelf has been around for awhile, but now with and update. I have been using this for a long time. I often send email reminders to myself that arrive days, months, or years into the future. It saves me on anniversaries, or birthdays, or other distant events.

Of course if you think that current politics will result in a destroyed planet you won't need HiFutureSelf.

I put everything I ever need to remember in HiFutureSelf. Takes 10 seconds to schedule a message. Absolutely perfect.

Are use HiFutureSelf all the time to remind me of almost everything. It’s the best app I know of and so easy to use. I have recommended it to friends with no qualms at all. It’s a wonderful app.

Love HiFutureSelf ! One request?! If we could customize how often to remind within ever day that would be great! Every hours is way too often for me I would love to have an every 3-5 hours option. Any chance for that??

I love HiFutureSelf, it seriously helps me get through the day. I just wanted something else than the normal reminders app, since I didn't want to fill it up with all my daily reminders, and this was the perfect app for that. Super easy to use, very fun, and definitely will continue using this! :)

I've been using HiFutureSelf for a long time and wanted to finally write a review. It's very helpful and convenient for someone who forgets things easily, or just wants additional reminders to do something etc. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for easy, simple timed reminders.

I really love the layout of HiFutureSelf, it’s quick and easy to use. I have a small request if that’s possible. Sometimes I like to randomly scroll through the dates to leave future me an unexpected message. My problem is when I scroll, HiFutureSelf will automatically take me back to the present... I’ve been using HiFutureSelf for years & I still love it. It’s a minimalist reminder app for those times when you don’t have time to fiddle with settings related to the thing you need to remember in the future. It just works!

I love HiFutureSelf. It’s part of my organizational hygiene routine and I use it religiously for all sorts of reminders (bills, birthdays, deadlines, chores— you name it). Show more urly, daily, monthly, yearly, etc. schedules, but I would love it if there was a bimonthly option, for things that need to happen every two weeks. Otherwise, I highly recommend HiFutureSelf. So easy to use and it saves you a ton of headache.

HiFutureSelf is perfect for pop up reminders. Only wish there were more options for repeating timeframes. Specifically can you add a biweekly option?
