- Links embedded in articles make scrolling through text frustrating, especially on smaller phone screens.

- Advertisements that pop up suddenly are annoying and disruptive.

- The app crashes frequently and needs to be reinstalled to fix certain bugs.

- The structure of the app is inadequate, and it should have a view that displays the most important and interesting articles on the HS.fi homepage.

- Articles in the daily newspaper are annoyingly split horizontally across different pages, making them difficult to read naturally.

- There is no ad-free version of the app available, and users would be willing to pay for it.

- The app does not allow logging in with corporate credentials for iOS users.

- It is difficult to use, and news cannot be read within the app, as each article opens separately in Safari on the Helsingin Sanomat website. The app is useless, and it would be much easier to read the news directly on the Hesarin website without bouncing back and forth.

How to fix HS app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the HS app on iPhone
Update HS app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall HS iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix HS on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve HS network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

HS Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix HS not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the HS App
1. On android, goto Settings » HS » click [Force Stop]

Update HS to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear HS App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » HS » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart HS.

Fix HS unable to contact server/ HS internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click HS » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto HS » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
