WashingtonDCTravelGuide is a complete waste of money. Don’t buy it.

I wish I had noticed before I attempted to use WashingtonDCTravelGuide that all the reviews are 5 stars with glowing recommendations. Amazingly they were all written around the same exact time. I've used different travel apps and this is not a good one. Worse of all when you start using it, they make you buy the maps. Which is fair. Except it's never ending with no explanation. The first time I loaded it they made me buy maps for about $5. I did it thinking okay. Now I'll have all the maps for DC. Nope. Another message said I have to buy more maps. In a moment of weakness I did, this time it was only about $2. But then again. Buy more maps. The worse part of all is I had no idea what I was buying the maps for? Was it a certain part of DC? If so which? Was this going to end? Or should I just give them everything in my checking. WashingtonDCTravelGuide also wouldn't let me pin my hotel. Not sure if it was because I hadn't bought the map covering my hotel area? No clue. it was also not easy to use. It was not intuitive. Don't waste your time or money.

You get a little free info about the city and some popular tourist stops (which you can find anywhere) but all the maps, recommendations and travel guides cost $3.99 (can't tell if it's per map/guide or each). Why not just charge upfront for WashingtonDCTravelGuide or atleast let you know that you'll need to pay for the maps and guides? That and the obviously fake/paid/employee 5 star reviews turned me off and I deleted WashingtonDCTravelGuide .

I paid for the Washington DC tour guide and it was not worth the cost. Plus once you start using app you have to pay more fees to open other parts of the guide. Very little info is given about few attractions it cares to mention. Stay away from WashingtonDCTravelGuide.

WashingtonDCTravelGuide only sells you tours. There is no useful tour information. This is just an advertisement for tours

No listing of tourist attractions, aside from clicking on map pins. Complete waste.

WashingtonDCTravelGuide is useless. The maps are terrible - you can get better metro maps for free online or with free apps - this is a scam nothing but a way to get a few bucks off tourists looking to get a guide.
