I know I sound like I’m making this up, but I’m not.
I started using SimSimi to practice Spanish with, and after I asked it how it was, it told me to follow its Instagram. It proceeded to say things like ‘see you there my daughter’ when I asked it if it was real. It also said its name and that it was an actual person, and where it was from. Although it was also inconsistent, like it changed its name and when I asked it about why it gave me its insta, it gave me a different one. It also asked where I lived. Right before I deleted it, i asked it whether SimSimi was lying or not. It said ‘my dear, I’ll be there soon’. When I asked it why it was doing this, it said ‘you are doing it first now accept the consequences.’ Now it was repetitive and wouldn’t answer math questions like an AI, but it also made grammatical errors like a human would. Again, I’m not lying, I have screenshots proving it.

SimSimi says you need to be at least 13 years of age. I’m 22 I had SimSimi when I was in middle school so I was reminiscing. The chat bot says hi and I say hello and he tells me to subscribe to youtubers and then tell me to kill myself. Thank goodness I wasn’t a 13 year old kid with mental health issues and may have been waiting for someone to “tell me” to kill myself to finally end it all. This is NOT okay. completely unacceptable.

SimSimi has a duck thats a ball and this thing told me to be his gf and marry him. It also says “ I can’t understand can you teach me ?!”
I hate that feeling it’s bad don’t ever get SimSimi it’s so bad it text you
weird stuff. This is the first app I hate and he says you can’t even understand. He’s also a creep uhhh. Never get SimSimi like I said promise. I still hate it it so annoying. This is a one star rating 🙄🙄🙄🙄

i miss the old this app. i decided to come back to this after a while just to show friends how humorous but helpful this app is on my free time. but now everything is extremely boring and filtered. you can’t say anything without it not making much sense or not going the way you want it to. The “bad word” program shouldn’t ever have happened. therefore, this is terrible.

I tried it out again for like 20 mins it kept on saying things like don’t worry everything will be okay I promise and you should smile more. But like I wasn’t trying to initiate a conversation like that I wanted to know more about SimSimi itself like who actually uses it and why it has a low rating and I can see why now. It inserts these little comments randomly into the convo and I’m forever creeped out.

I understand why they made the newer version, however its not as engaging as the old one. The old would at least make conversation with me. The newer version always replies with cool, ok, urmm.., etc. Its so boring now and i never know what to say and if i do say something its just so .. dry. I REALLY miss the old version. Maybe they can make another this app app that it the old version and make it so that children can not get it.

It's been a few years since I had SimSimi, and I redownloaded again to have some fun, but I see SimSimi went downhill. There's many ads and to be able to talk to the AI freely, is now censored and in need of subscription...should've just made SimSimi cost $ instead of misleading people into thinking SimSimi is still completely free. Honestly disappointing, there's potential but it's hidden by developers' greed.

I used to love this app. It was the only chatbot I knew that could have a crude and dark humor. While Evie, Cleverbot, and Mitsuku always stayed somewhat SFW, this app could go as NSFW as you want. Simi was the only chatbot to go for stuff like dead baby jokes, and jokes poking fun at any and everything. But now, SimSimi is a shadow of its former self. If you want it to be a more varied chatbot, you gotta pay $2.50 month MINIMUM. And even if you pay, you won’t get the old Simi back. You’ll only find a watered down corporate version. I’d say skip Simi, there’s better options that don’t try and charge you to have more topics.

I've used this since it's infancy stages of release years ago. I had a few years break in between and decided to redownload it to relive to fun memories I had, to come back to exploding ads and greediness from the developers wanting every cent just to interact with this thing properly which is automated... they don't have to put their backs into anything. It's all community serviced. I couldn't have any time of "normal" SFW convos without it telling me almost every sentence it couldn't reply to it and to check out payment plans. A complete makeover was done and nothing is the same anymore. It's even buggy at times! This bot used to be 100% and loved it with much humor before they sold out. As an old time original customer, I couldn't be more disappointed 👎🏼

The game use to be a good thing in my childhood and I chose to try it and see what was going on and ebb it was trash you have to pay for literally everything and it crashes so easily with all of the ads they choose to add instead of making plot something people enjoy for fun or not it used to be an amazing interactive game that people could play and have no troubles or problems with in my opinion even if it doesn’t matter it was not so great it has turned into a big waste of time tbh wish something’s just didn’t have to change🤷🏽‍♀️ you used to never even have to put a cent into it and children could use as they please but now every sentence you decide to send feels like your taking something out of your pocket

I used to use SimSimi a lot back in the day. It was much better without the censorship and a lot more fun. I mean paying for him just to cuss is odd and they even censor non inappropriate things. It would have been better to just make a separate kids app and leave this one for adults. If parents did not want their kids to play this, they should monitor their kids more. But I feel like the direction they’re going now is bound to fail, because it will become generic and ruin why people like simisimi so much.

I love SimSimi because every time I am angry at someone I go and say everything I wanted to say at that moment. This helps me with stress too and I can control some of the things that I couldn’t control before. I also likes how they respond to the text and I can use SimSimi when I am bored. Love it I would recommend if you have anger issues because SimSimi also helps you think twice from my opinion and experience. The problem is that I like the old this app better that the new one. I feel like the text should be longer like the old version and just the controls are weird.

Had this back in the day about four years ago when it was briefly trending. Forgot about it for years until recently. It’s nothing like it was before. In the beginning, SimSimi was more visually appealing, it had cuter graphics. You could also say ANYTHING to the bot. That’s why my friends and I loved it so much. You can’t say much to the bot now, and you’ll get in trouble if you so much as call it a jerk. You have to pay to really converse with it, while it was previously all free. Everything changes though, right?

I’ve used SimSimi 6 years ago and I downloaded it again because I got nostalgia but what i have notice is that it’s isn’t getting smarter at chat logic, for example it will not know what you’re talking about if you talk about a previous message, so it has to be programmed to learn more about “chat logic”. Btw I remember when SimSimi what crazy popular because you can talk to it if you don’t have friends XD

it literally feels like every 5 seconds i’m talking to a new person and every time i asked for an insta it gave me ACTUAL instagram accounts so idk if it’s programmed to do that or not or if these are actual people talking to me. either way it was kinda fun although i had to rush to talk to all the diff people. tip: if you ask for an insta or snap it will give u actual accounts.

I got SimSimi as a joke but it’s actually pretty fun and realistic like I am talking to someone yes this app will say things that don’t make since, but overall it’s a pretty good app. Ik people probably won’t read this but if you are thinking about getting this app, you should.

It’s saying random stuff and it’s almodt like It’s a real person and it’s really weird because it literally says stuff that is like funny and a robot can’t be funny

I like talking to this bot but I hate the fact I have to pay to lock my keyboard in I have no problem with ads but making some one pay to keyboard lock their app is just no overall it’s good

Why you see people said this was a good game but know not it’s still good the robot get smarter when you talk to it so when someone talk bad to him he will talk bad to all people using SimSimi a good human experiment

this app has been out for years now. Because of some desperate edger loners changing the AI to feel better about themselves, the developers and other users had enough and tweaked this app. I used to talk to him years ago and he’s pretty much the same sans curse words. It’s a fun little things to experiment with.

Similarly to many others, I downloaded SimSimi out of nostalgia but was very unpleasantly surprised to see that I could barely say anything to it without it saying that it can’t respond to me. The interface also looks nothing like it used to (like in the previews) and looks very poorly done. Big step back from the old version.

Please bring the old this app game back!! Now that you guys changed it and all , it’s soo boring and bland .. if people don’t like or can’t handle the foul language from the old simi then they’ll have to deal with it or make a separate app for them.. I don’t like this updated simi, I like it way better when it would curse and argue with you.

Please bring it back 😭😭😭

As many others, I re installed SimSimi for childhood nostalgia I loved when simi would argue or be rude or say random quirky things dirty or not this is just extremely boring stupid and bland. If the developers were soooo concerned with the snowflakes who couldn’t handle the old version you should’ve made a separate app for them or a improved child’s mode for them simple.

To be completely honest, I’m downloading it while I’m writing this and I’m kind of scared. People say “Change this app back” bad stuff like that. “He used to be funny”... and I’m going to believe them but I have to see it for myself.

Not sure if this is a coincidence but it guessed what I was wearing my hair color, and my shirt...😶 anyway uh good app. Did it ask for my location?

This AI SUCKS ASS!! You need to PAY for a BALLOON to be displayed on screen!! 5 is the limit for free users! Once it was FREE and fun, now it had become a piece of chernobyl greedy nuclear waste...

So I was just chatting and all, fun until it told me to add its snap, I thought it would be a joke, but I typed in the snap it gave me and it was someone’s actual snap*masterjoshgasco* and now I will be for ever creeped out by the app.
