I really thought PocketWine was great until someone introduced me to the Vivino. You take a pic of a label in Vivino and it auto populates the wine details. I paid for the Pocket Wine App and it still doesn’t auto populate. It would also be nice to be able to plug-in of wine and have the wine details pop up to help me and my selection.

I found the description of wines, their regions, and personalized taste profiles very useful.
The food pairing portion is also very handy.
I write PocketWine at three stars for the inventory portion.
there are other apps out there that will identify wines from a photo of the label. I would be more than willing to pay for the extra convenience (and not requiring a second app just to inventory the wine).

PocketWine is pretty clean, straightforward and intuitive. I liked the explanations and recommendations. Just need a Dark mode and with that feature would be a 5 start for me. I’m planning on purchasing completely forever but until it’s get the Dark mode feature.

Very useful app for anyone working in the wine trade, but also for wine enthusiasts. Being able to add as many photos as you like to each bottle entry is excellent. It's great for adding screenshots of reviews and / or ratings of a wine and you can also add screenshots of data from producer websites. I do most of this on my iPhone and then view it on the iPad where it looks great in the larger format making it ideal for showing to customers. And you get all this and a ton of information on grape varieties and food pairing for just $3.99. Hard to beat.

PocketWine is perfect for people you just fall in love with wine and want to learn everything but do not know where to start from. It covers basic pillars, we’LL organized and simply enjoyable to use!

Not everything is in PocketWine, but I always go here first and am usually satisfied.

This is the best app I’ve seen for keeping track of my wine, understanding the grapes, and knowing how to pair foods with my specific wines. Great flexibility to set up cellar locations and vintages. Love it!

I appreciate the detailed information, including some historical facts, pronunciation and the multiple ways in which you can navigate your learning.

Started saving my wines here and it's great. No sign in, no pushy requests, no emails, just the tools I need on wine information and to record all my favorite bottles in a nice format. Also great for managing my cellar. Wish more apps were like this.

I downloaded about every wine app there is for a good grape / wine style guide. This is the only one that had all the info I need.

Also, the flavor test is spooky accurate and really helpful with its reccomendations!

Absolutely perfect to rate, sort and learn about wines. Has become an indispensable part of my wine drinking routine and the best way to understand all about the different types as well as refining and understanding my own tastes.

I add all the wines I buy to PocketWine. It's great having a record of how much I paid, where I bought them and how I rated them. It's also so handy to see what's in my cellar. PocketWine works as absolute treat and it's so easy to use.

Having recently discovered PocketWine I have used it frequently as a quick and easy to use reference both when making retail purchases and either confirming or informing a decision on what to bring up from my own "cellar" for a meal. PocketWine balances a good UI along with sufficient information to help wine enthusiasts at many levels.

I'm very pleased to have found PocketWine. It's great for keeping a record of my favorite wines, where I bought them, what I paid and what I thought of them. The extensive grape and wine pairing information are first class and an added bonus.

Great app. At first I hated having to enter in all the information, but the search feature makes up for it. Finally, a wine app that you can actually find the wine you are looking for.

I really like the concise description of the different grapes. It helps to understand what you’re drinking. I wonder if there could be a section added for adding tasting notes for when you’re out to eat or at a tasting and aren’t adding to your cellar? That would be great.

I was allergic to red wine for years and now have outgrown the allergy so I’m wanting to learn all I can about reds...different varieties and food pairing. PocketWine has been so helpful and I will be sharing with all my friends! It’s also a great way to track all you wines and your favorites. Thanks so much for creating PocketWine. Pocket Wine is an informative and ideal app for anyone wishing to learn about wine. As a beginner, I learned a great deal in a short amount of time. PocketWine contains a wealth of very interesting information, and its content holds my interest. I would highly recommend PocketWine to anyone wishing to learn about the need to know information (and then some) about wine.

I am the order writer for the wine section at a Trader Joe’s and PocketWine has been invaluable! From the information on obscure grapes including the regions they grow in to the very detailed food pairing list, PocketWine has been very helpful in my own personal search to discover new wines as well as help others find their new favorite.

This is easily the best wine app for the iPad. Other wine apps are only designed for the iPhone or look terrible on the iPad. Have added all my wines and they look great.
