Like the others, I had the same problem with GVBtravelin . It opens and seems to work fine, but the size of GVBtravelin ; on the screen; is of about a bit bigger than my thumb.
As far as I can see, that is the only bad thing about GVBtravelin . I would love if the developers could fix this.

doesn't let u search your address, though it claims it does, and incorrectly plot current location, and already known and repeatedly used transit routes are not even suggested as options now. the older 9292 is still the best, hands down. i will not upgrade my IOS so long as this is the go-to transit app.

It used to work fine, you could save your regular daily route on the front page for easy viewing of your tram times etc. It is now a confusing mess and no way to save your usual route, you must re-enter data every time. Failure of an app.

Not helpfull misleading did not find trams near the requested location sent me the long way around. Better to ask someone then using GVBtravelin.

My wife and I both tried to use this on our iPhones and the current version loads at the wrong size. Works better on our iPad. Not very useful at this time on iPhone 5

Not the best app for Visitors or Newcomers to Amsterdam. GVBtravelin is okay for residents familiar with transport system but GVBtravelin needs major improvement and become more user friendly.

Great user interface if you speak Dutch. I can imagine that English or French speaking tourists would find this to be a five star app if they could choose a language they speak.

i want to love GVBtravelin for it's ease of use but today i learned that it's not updated correctly . a new schedule posted physically at tram stop did not get changed here.

We used GVBtravelin to avoid an expensive taxi ride from the airport. It is very user friendly and the interface is visually appealing. As far as I could tell based on our few days using it, the schedules were accurate.
You can turn off modes of transport easily in the initial planning screen, without going through menus of settings. You can see alternate trips and departure times in a nice screen if you don't like the "best" GVBtravelin picks for you. It shows each leg of your trip on a map, so that you can accurate track your progress to avoid missing your stop. Some other apps show a simple straight line between start and end points rather that the actual path the bus etc would take, not very useful.
I think we were able to see the whole trip on the map, but I cannot find such a feature in this version, hence only four stars.
