App notifications on iPhone 6s (well, at least *this* iPhone 6s) are BROKEN. I have toggled the settings multiple times. I have deleted and re-installed MyObservatory multiple times. I have double and triple-checked my notifications settings.

And still, despite all this, I never receive notifications for any of my subscribed events.

This renders your app next to useless.

You need to fix it ASAP. Weather notifications are a crucial service (such as this morning's T3), and they need to work on every device you support.

Fix it IMMEDIATELY.

Whoever designed this crap should be fired immediately. Such a crappy app for one of the most amazing city in the world. MyObservatory freeze and crash very often. UI design is not user friendly, confusing to use.

After so many updates/years the HKO still lacks the ability to show FeelsLike/ BodyFeel temperatures.

Data is good. App *painfully* slow and stops audio on launch.

Lots of good information in MyObservatory . However, notifications are a bit of a problem. While MyObservatory has been set to English, the notifications only come in Chinese. This is not helpful for those users who have selected English as their profile.

Could you please add rain/lightning/other warnings to phone app...and maybe link to info page for alert?

It seems that there is no way to choose the language for notifications. Even if I've chosen English for MyObservatory , the notifications still arrive in Chinese.

A good app but please update Notifications to follow the language chosen in settings! I've chosen English and everything else is in English but the Notifications still appear in Chinese rendering them useless for an illiterate Gwailo like me...

I use MyObservatory several times a day to plan my outdoor activities and am generally satisfied. One suggestion: the daily weather conditions (sunny/cloudy/rainy...) should always be the bigger icons on the main page instead of any cold or hot weathers alerts. They should instead be shown as small dots added to the bigger daily icons.

The recent update (version 6) is great. The main screen has a clean layout and includes a lot of useful information, so you don’t have to swipe around as much. Also, the radar images load a lot faster than the old app.

Have everything u need to know. Even better is the special alert, which saves me a couple times from getting soaked.

If you use the Observatory's website for your weather information, MyObservatory will make you more than happy. In the new version, English language can be chosen by clicking on the top right icon for settings. All moving maps load extremely fast on Hong Kong Three 3G. Since I live in the New Territories and work in Island East, being able to be instantly and automatically updated to my current location (including a picture) is a huge plus.

I really like the push alerts on local weather.

I live in Hong Kong and occasionally check the observatory website for rain or typhoon information. A couple of nights ago, I came across MyObservatory and installed it. Thinking nothing of it, I went to bed.

The next morning, I woke up, picked up my phone, and saw an alert for Typhoon 1. I called my husband in the office and he didn't even know because the skies were bright and sunny. Later in the day, the alert for Typhoon 3 came in. So I went to ensure our plants on the balcony were going to be okay.

I didn't have to do anything to get the useful information and it allowed me to prepare myself. I haven't figured out how timely the alerts are, but if they come out soon after the Observatory finds out, this would be very useful in times of extreme weather.

The Today's Widget often fails to load, quite frustrating. Can you also remove the picture background in today's widget to? Seems redundant. Wonder how it drains resources from phone while it constantly loads upon starting.
