Seit der Englisch-Integrierung kann ich nichts mehr auf Deutsch lesen. Schade! Fand viele Artikel toll, die auf Englisch sind alte Artikel. Hoffentlich kann ich beim nächsten Update wie gewohnt die App nutzen...
Please, please update articles and bring in more products. I have had CodeCheck for years in Germany and never had trouble finding drug store products, but ever since CodeCheck got changed into this English version, it’s not nearly as good as it was before. And even over the past 3 years nothing has changed... it’s rather disappointing. I have submitted some products and they are nowhere to be found.
Great idea, but unfortunately no reliable detection. App does not recognize simple synonyms for palm oil and gives wrong indications („green“ even if the ingredients section clearly lists Isopropyl Palmitate)
Really?! It’s like everything I can “cannot be found”! That’s pretty much it! A app wasting data space on my phone! Not anymore! ✌️
maybe because i’m new to CodeCheck buy so far i’m very confused by it, it’s not telling me if it’s vegetarian or not. it just has and green and red circle at the top.
I would love it so much more if a peanut allergy was an option. We have gluten, peanut, and lactose allergies in our house.
CodeCheck is really great, however, about half of the products that I scan don’t show up and I have to submit photos of the item to be reviewed. I also wish there was a nut allergy setting, so that I could be alerted if a product had nuts in them. The FDA requires companies to specifically state what nuts are in food products, but it’s harder to tell with certain skincare products, so having this feature would be extremely helpful. Otherwise it’s an extremely helpful app that I would recommend.
How about you start tracking the microplastic content of products
Good concept but very buggy lately, shuts down after the first scan.
This is a great app with a lot of useful information about different products. The scanning function is really quick and convenient. BUT I hope that the developer will change the UX a bit. It would be so much better if users could ‘swipe back’ instead of having to use the button in the upper left corner to go back to the previous screen. I have a large phone and this just not convenient when I’m holding a product in my hand at the supermarket. Most modern apps use the swipe back function nowadays so the lack of it was immediately noticeable to me as a new user.
Very good app. However I would prefer if the ads were soundless and did not stop audio playback.

I’m enjoying CodeCheck . Lots of products and great information. My favorite feature is that CodeCheck will show if a product is not allowed to be sold in the EU.
I like using CodeCheck which helps me to learn what products do I use and what shouldn’t. But there is a little discourage for CodeCheck. When I scan an item CodeCheck freezes sometimes and doesn’t respond so I just have to close it and go back again doing all scans again. I wonder why...

But unfortunately two main functions were missing. The history of scanned products & alternatives of the selected product.
I am so in love with CodeCheck!! It has opened up a whole new world for me and made me aware of the harmful ingredients in our everyday products....I’m now on a mission to become as natural as possible. Beware though because once you start using CodeCheck you will possess The Knowing, so be ready for it.
