The app is great for doing oral histories. It provides suggested questions as well as allows you to propose your own. The app also let’s you order the questions and record the audio for the interview.
However the app does not backup your interviews - so if you do a factory reset without uploading your interviews to the archives. You will lose them. I found this out the hard way.
My wife and I have been using the app for the last two years to record annual reflections on our relationship. I had saved the interviews on my phone, but had trouble uploading them to the archive. Well this year I had to do a factory reset on my phone and lost all of our interviews. So upload your interviews!

The app does the job and it’s cool to have the history of these conversations. However I had problems trying to upload it or share it. I needed to share this with my teacher, so when i saved the video i still had it private. Though I didn’t know we ACTUALLY had to publish it to share a link. I did not know we had to put the setting to share with community before publishing it to share it. And whenever I try to change it, it won’t save to the community sharing and only private.

I first used this app in the fall. I recorded two interviews and got the hang of it. I'm going to use it at my family reunion. It's definitely much improved. There are new questions added and it seems faster moving from one step to the next. I also found out I can listen to some Storycorps stories that are like what I hear on NPR. I find something new whenever I open up this app!
