Amazing and extremely handy for my family!! Perfect for quick messages and prevents getting stuck on the phone (whether busy or not so much at the time). Nice to review favorite, saved voice messages from my babies. Definitely recommend HeyTell for everyone with friends or family.

He app itself functions well for me, i wish it blocked text notifications while recording though. Thats annoying as can be.
The major issue, what you brings you down more then a star for me is the notification menu. You have a close button and an options button. If you hit close, okay its done. But you hit options and you hit open or listen and it opens HeyTell and then theres a close button again. This is a ridiculous design. Why not just have an open and close button. No options needed? The only reason to have options is if you can actually listen right from the notification and not open HeyTell .
This update did NOT fix the notification/options issue

This is a really good app for something in between a phone call a text message because it’s slightly more personal than texting but doesn’t distract you like a phone call, especially if you’re driving. The only thing is, you need to get rid of the time limit. I hate when it cuts me off midsentence and I can’t continue until the listener checks their messages. Can you just make it unlimited speaking in one of your further updates?

Though I like this app for its simplicity and reliability, I would like to see an update to the software that includes a makeover for the presentation of HeyTell . There are are other “walkie talkie” apps out there that look more modern and are free. this app has always been reliable and easy to use, which is what I like about it. I would just like to see it more modernized. This is the only reason for four star rating.

My brother & I are LIFE LONG Kansas City Chiefs fans & every Game we stay in Contact with this app. Play by Play, “Touchdown Kansas City” & good for another Chief’s 1st Down are always transmitted. It’s as easy to use as a two way radio & as quick. Even used this app while he was stationed in Iraq . Thanks this app for a GREAT App..

I've been using HeyTell for years with great success. Communicating with friends via this app is much easier than texting but less formal than a phone call. Highly recommend if you're long winded like me and enjoy keeping up relations.

There is no misconstrued "tone of voice" when the recipient can hear your voice. HeyTell is a must have.

First off I just wanna say that I do love HeyTell and that I use it every single day. Yes the proximity sensor could be fixed but the crashes are happening alllll the time now and that's the most frustrating issue that I have with HeyTell. Just needs some stability updates.

I have always loved HeyTell and I use it with my friends and professional acquaintances. I wish, however, that they would 1. UPDATE IT, and 2. integrate use with AIRPODS. But mainly just update it. Lots more app hiccups nowadays! G

We love it. My group of pals are spread across the country and are in our late 30s and early 40s. We stay in touch almost exclusively thru this app (in chipmunk voices). We all wish that a setting could be enabled so that we could capture and keep our favorite heytells of each other to save or send to others. It may be a privacy issue, but surely it can be made to be adjusted so that the message creator can allow his or her messages to be shared by others. It also crashes constantly on the iPhone now. Can we get help with our favorite app please? We use it all the time and don't mind paying! I'd pictures could be sent it would be awesome. My group toggles back and forth from this app to FB messenger to get the features of both. Thanks for the great APP! Please fix the crashes on iOS?!

1. I only have two favorites for now and noticed that at some times the first favorite has sort of a fast blink, what is this program doing? 2. I really wish to delete my conversation every time I finish talking to my friends how do I do it without doing it one at a time?
