I had an older Kindle Fire tablet 5th Generation and downloaded 3-4 years ago used Birds of North America and Birds of California all the time. Last week, they suddenly stopped working and "license expired" notification appeared. I tried to "renew" then but listing for North America now longer appeared on Amazon or Google play and Birds of California would not download. I bought a new Fire 2022 edition and after hours with tech support, found out that the listed Audubon guide was not compatible with the new Fire tablet. I've sent the Fire back since the Audubon guides were the only things I used the tablet for, am very disappointed :(
