Hi, lately I have not been able to use the Washington post app…. I’ve been trying to download it and install it on my phone, and when I go to the App Store, it only allows me to open it…. I no longer have the app icon on my iPhone. Please advise how to fix this. I prefer to go straight to the app….

The Sunday comics appear to be downloaded (I get a check mark), but when I try to view a page all I get is a spinning circle.

Washington Post does not run after most recent app update. Title screen appears then app crashes. Have tried deleting/reinstalling with no improvement. iPhone 6s/current iOS. Subscriber.

Starting 4/20/23 the Washington Post app cannot start on an ordinary iPad gen 6 with 128g of memory. Restarting the iPad does not help. The device is updated to the current iOS. The app works on an iPhone.

While other categories appear to update, "Top Stories" remains several days stale. My OS is Android 13 on Pixel 6. I am a Washington Post online subscriber.

The content on TOP STORIES has not loaded for 2 weeks. All the others do load.

How do I make articles I click on in an email to open in the app and not in my browser? That IS how the NYT works so I know it’s possible.

When I try to access your comics page via a link you sent, it opens the Washington Post app, which then crashes my Chromebook. I have no problem opening the app directly, but I cannot get to the same comics page the link takes me to.

Ever since downloading the last two iOS versions on my iPad Pro, the digital app loads fine, but I can no longer scroll through an article using the trackpad of my apple keyboard. An Apple Pencil will enable me to scroll, as will my finger, but I would prefer using the trackpad to navigate through the issues.

Won't update, even after phone refresh and downloading newest version

By Joel Morris   1 year ago

Every time time I try to make a comment I get a comment asking if I want to stay with this account or use another one. When I say use this account. It takes me back to the article & returns me to the article. Since I only have one account, this very annoying. You should know this. How can I stop this?

The print edution is blurry when enlarged for reading

Print edition keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem. Please advise.

By Helen Brewer   1 year ago

Beginning the last week of July app stops the ability to go between pages. Sometimes when page does change it stays fuzzy, not readable. Often going back out to Sections screen a tap on the section icon does not respond. This is a problem with the app. Our home has a robust Wi-Fi system. As a 30+ year subscriber I am troubled by this problem with one of my favorite iPad apps.

By Craig   1 year ago

Print edition continues to crash as others have stated. I thought this was a problem with my home wifi, but that is not the case. Strong signal from my Comcast router. I have had this issue on a chromebook as well as an Android tablet. I have been a W. Post customer for years with home delivery, but you have jacked up the pricing significantly to the point where I have switched to online 100%. While I dont mind the "Print Edition" in the app, it continuously crashes. Nothing has been done to resolve this. Fix the app, or you are going to lose a 40+ year customer.

Your app keeps crashing. Can't look at more than 3-4 pages before it crashes. I looked this up, and I'm seeing that it's been happening for a while. Why haven't you fixed this problem?

By Steve   1 year ago

Shame on you guys. 2nd submission. No response. Press edition crashes and starts over. I see many people complaining for months about this, yet you provide no update on confirming problem or when a fix will come. Moving to the Times now. Btw, your forced upon us new app is horrible.
