I love digikey, they always have whatever parts or supplies I need; but for being an electronics company, their app is among the worst I’ve ever had the displeasure of using.
The UI is incredibly buggy, things like having to tap below the button I’m trying to press, or having to add or remove search filters multiple times before it actually applies. But what really does it for me, is that half the time I try to add an item to my cart, it gives me a pop up that says something along the lines of “we’ve encountered an error, please try again later”. Furthermore, I haven’t been able to create or add anything to a wishlist.
The final straw was earlier today, I had had enough and deleted then redownloaded the app. I figured I’d log in again and hopefully I can at least have a wishlist to add to. But nope! It won’t even let me sign in! It says something like “this account is pending and should be processed in 24 hours” EVEN THOUGH I’VE HAD THIS ISSUE FOR WEEKS!
I may be a small fry when compared to companies buying in bulk, but I will no longer buy from DigiKey until they fix this godawful app.

Everything about my previous review (preserved below) has been wiped out in this latest update that seems to want to emulate a crappy mobile website instead of a full-featured GUI that worked great. Why oh why do people feel the need to "fix" what's not broken? I can't even login anymore.

Excellent user interface design makes it easy to navigate. Lots of info available about the parts, and the iOS version doesn't lose a lot of what's presented on the desktop version. In fact, it's better in one important respect: You can easily move stuff between shopping carts,
It would be nice to more easily send data sheet PDFs to another app. I keep my data sheet collection in GoodReader, and there isn't any "Send To..." option for that app when I look at saved data sheets. Also, perhaps you could extract a more meaningful title from the data sheet PDF to display in the list of data sheets.
Otherwise, the app is pretty much perfect and its quality has probably resulted in a few hundred dollars worth of extra parts orders on my part.

The app won’t let me sign in. I already had a account and customer number from Digi-Key. It repeatedly tells me wrong password when I can sign in with NO issues on the website. I hope they make this better because Digi-Key is my favorite parts store and the app is completely unusable.
