BTPM Listen Reviews

The two separate apps for listening I’m watching are totally unnecessary, and the money spent on them could be better employed. Don’t fix what ain’t broken. A royal pain this is.

Ever since I updated to ios11 running BTPMListen for about an hour in the morning is draining my battery a significantly increased amount vs ios10. I updated BTPMListen , hoping it would help but it has not. Not sure where the problem lies here: app or iOS.
Otherwise BTPMListen is still functioning fine.

Where is the playlist?

I find it very disappointing and hard to get Classical Music, which was once easily accessed by just one tap.

I used to listen all the time, but since BTPMListen update it crashes frequently. It’s very disappointing and frustrating.

Too busy and cluttered
The controls are not immediately intuitive

I opened the WBFO app and pressed play to listen to the 7 am news today. BTPMListen stopped playing in the middle of the first story following the news. I was in the shower and couldn’t do anything until after. This happens a few times a week, including when I’m listening in the car. When it happens, BTPMListen completely disappears from the open apps on my phone and I have to reopen it. This has been going on for a couple years now, but finally got around to reviewing it today. If there’s a place to review in BTPMListen itself, I couldn’t find it.

BTPMListen sometimes works ok but mostly plays for 1 minute or 2 and then quits, and nothing will work to make it play. Its not my device, its definitely BTPMListen , and restarting or redownloading does nothing to fix it. It just does not work again until sometime later in the day. I have a latest Ipad and the latest operating system.

My solution was to download BTPMListen of NPR in Madison WI where I used to live, and that works perfectly! It never fails, never stops, so clearly its BTPMListen that is the problem. However, they have a different schedule there than here, so its a pain. I wish this would get fixed, its been like this for years. Doesn't anyone care at all? I see lots of users with the same issue.

While traveling I always keep track of what is happening at home. Love BTPMListen !

As a 50 year listener to NPR I really enjoy being able to directly link to local news stories. I have not had any issues with BTPMListen even though the IOS updates seem to be increasing by the week.

Works; great classical music; for some reason I listen to this over the New York City or san Francisco classical stations.

WBFO & WNED are my go-to apps for radio music & news. The apps are user-friendly and convenient.

Works well & makes listening easy wherever I am!

I love BTPMListen, and it works well every time I use it. I work from home and listen to BTPMListen much of every day. Easy maneuverability.

I listen to NPR every day and the reporters are amazing! I am grateful to everyone who supports it. I am also glad that there are no adds. Thank you for making it an app.

I used to listen through iTunes, but it glitched a lot. I got BTPMListen a couple weeks ago, and I don’t think it has lagged at all. It’s great to link directly to stories as well! So much better

My favorite feature is that any time during the day, I can go back to my favorite show and listen selectively, “fast-forwarding” Super portions that do not interest me. I can also “rewind“ if I didn’t fully understand some thing the first time around.
