No more TV news in the US

This used to be a good app to view the news. Not anymore.
Alternatives I've looked into:
- TF1 website, newscast available upon signing up with myTF1 (free) They have an app but you must switch to the french app store to download. I did not try the app.
- CNEWS. They have an app and you can watch the newsfeed live. They don't seem to have a "JT" of sorts.
No videos available to US from JT

This app worked for a while until the winter Olympic all videos were blocked when you travel a lot this apps is not good for nothing only filling my phone space unless you like to use the radio broadcast or want to learn French it’s another story it not bad I would say médiocre...

Just updated the app and now i can’t listen to it without staying on it. Can’t turn off my screen or the sound will stop, can’t check an other app or the sound will stop!! Please fix!!
