franceinfo Reviews

Just updated franceinfo and now i can’t listen to it without staying on it. Can’t turn off my screen or the sound will stop, can’t check an other app or the sound will stop!! Please fix!!

franceinfo worked for a while until the winter Olympic all videos were blocked when you travel a lot this apps is not good for nothing only filling my phone space unless you like to use the radio broadcast or want to learn French it’s another story it not bad I would say médiocre...

This used to be a good app to view the news. Not anymore.
Alternatives I've looked into:
- TF1 website, newscast available upon signing up with myTF1 (free) They have an app but you must switch to the french app store to download. I did not try franceinfo .
- CNEWS. They have an app and you can watch the newsfeed live. They don't seem to have a "JT" of sorts.

It’s really unfortunate that there doesn’t seem to be any option to airplay any of the videos onto my Apple TV. I have to resort to airplay my entire phone screen.

Too many clicks needed before I can start listening to live radio. Can you please add a setting to start playing live broadcast as soon as franceinfo opens? Thanks!!

As a French expatriate living between London, NY and Tokyo I really do appreciate getting my daily dose of French news (especially France 2 JT in replay) via this very well designed app. The New France Info radio player with Hi-Fi cristal clear audio quality, and the versatility of the reading features is perfect. The new design makes franceinfo one of the best for newscasting. If you want to get the JT news live you can log through a VPN with a French server, otherwise it is available 1-2hrs later in replay.

FRANCE Info is my to go app to check the news as I live abroad.
I appreciate its convenience.

I love franceinfo! The news is often ahead of local US agencies. It keeps me up-to-date on French and international stories that the US news often miss. And I can watch or listen to many stories in French! The only negative is I must use a VPN to watch some videos blocked by international usage agreements.

franceinfo itself is great. France Info is a trustworthy source of information. Great used in parallel with the Radio France app, for more quality French public live radio and podcasts.

This is a nice app for staying on top of the French news, whether I'm in France or in the US.

I have been able to receive this app consistently, unlike some other French apps that are at best intermittent. I also like the well-written and timely articles.

We get to see news that some other countries do not show at all. Also there are many positive subjects brought up at this station. I wish other ones learn from them.

You are my daily connection with France , three times a day I love the diversity, The non biased info , the good looking and kindness of the people .
I would love to see movies or other émissions too .

Articles, videos, everything is accessible and up to date. A great app to stay in touch with the news in France.

I love franceinfo. I use it every morning and often at noon. I am learning French so I split screen my iPad with google translate for easy access to the words that I do not know.
