It’s not a fancy app, I’m convinced a not for profit genius created it.

The logarithm gets stuff in your head fast, so many tests in college I’ve aced using FreezingBlueFlashcards the night before lol!

I literally owe this developer for my grades, degree and job plus all the tests I’ve took for military training.

I love FreezingBlueFlashcards ... I’ve created cards for Certified Sommelier, CWS, FWS, IWS, WSET III, CWAS, ... you get the idea. I’d change the GUI to have a more natural flow when managing cards but the modes for running the cards makes using them easy.

FreezingBlueFlashcards is so awful! It’s not as easy to use as quizlet and not nearly as helpful

Had to say this one is great and best of all FREE! Not sure why anyone would pay 3.99 or 4.99 when this one is seemingly just as effective and doesn't cost a thing. I was pleasantly surprised at the multiple options/settings you have with your cards...and that you can always go back and add info (or take away) to a card you have already made. As a student in professional school, I have a feeling that from here on our, it will be one of my most used applications and will really improve my performance on tests...because practice does make perfect but who wants to buy index cards, write them out, and lug them around? This way...you can review whenever you have down time and there is no hassle with actual flashcards. Awesome app...thank you!!

Edit: My only problem is that if you have a good number of cards (the set I'm currently reviewing has 200+) and you have to exit (to make a call, or send a text or email, etc), when you return it doesn't remember where you left off and you have to start all over. This is hard especially if you have already gone through and gotten a good number of cards right. Fixing this would be my only suggestion for future updates.

Love it!!! I am a networking major, & a little over a yr from now I have to take the A+ certifications!! I study from sun up (well before that) to sun down (well when ever I pass out). & FreezingBlueFlashcards let's me study on the go!! I'm not sure what the few people complaining about are talking about. I'm working on a deck (the OSI Model) & it's to 100 cards now (still growing) & I have no issues!! Test on all (not just 13) & I love the part where u can "snag" other people's cards! Love it! My son (the bmw2 part of my name) what's FreezingBlueFlashcards for next yrs school yr!! Guess I'll be buying another iPhone!! & if you are having issues or don't understand something just email the maker (David I think if not right sorry I'm bad w/ names) & he will email u back w/ in the hour!! FreezingBlueFlashcards revolutionized the way I study. I am a straight A high school student and am taking 4 ap classes this year. I got this to study the flags of counties that speak french, and this was the only free app that let me import pictures. With FreezingBlueFlashcards I only missed two countires. In Calculus, flashcards are required, but I can import pictures of the formulas into FreezingBlueFlashcards ! In AP Biology I can get pictures of diagrams too. I sit in class and my teachers let me make flashcards during class (i love the in-app card creator). What an app!

That being said there is room for improvment.
1) I wish there was a way to sync cards between my device and the website, I make most of my cards in class on my ipod and have to go through the lengthy proccess of downloading them to my computer and then uploading them to the site.

2) When I use the in app editor, you can not type more than a few lines before you can't see what you're typing. A scroll bar would be nice. :)
3) A way to import pictures with the in app editor, and more features on the in app editor. This one is not completely nessicary, but I'd like to see it.
If items 1 and 2 are fulfilled, I'm buying the paid version.

This is probably my favorite flashcards app. It's simple to use and it has many modes to thoroughly test you. You also select one of two buttons to select if you got the question correct or incorrect. The nice thing about that is it will give you the questions that you get incorrect again and again until you get them right more often. I wish it looked more updated since the appearance just seems old and doesn't look that new in my opinion. I also wish it had an auto-save feature when you're making flashcards so that if you make 10 for example and somehow FreezingBlueFlashcards crashes, you don't lose all of the ones that you just created. Overall, it's one of my favorite apps mainly due to the correct/incorrect feature.

I have been using FreezingBlueFlashcards for 3 years and it is amazing! You can do a read through of your cards, a more serious review, or test (which gives you a projected grade). You can use it for mathematical formulas & scientific formulas as well, with few exceptions. Plus, those exceptions you can copy & paste and it will accept them. I have never had it freeze, or not work. The only thing I would like is if there was an automatic update when you update your cards online to the set you have downloaded to your phone/iPad. Also, if I could figure out how to upload the cards from my phone to my computer. Other than that, I love it and Highly recommend it! Oh, I do not pay for the full version, I only use the free!

The program works really well, especially since it supports making the cards on a real computer. They store the cards online if you don't need them, and you can download all kinds of cards other people have put up. There is nothing magical about these cards, they are just really helpful and strait forward. There may be some formatting issues, but nothing to big to get annoying. The only annoying thing is the little testing view of cards. You have to change it to the "skim" view to not feel like you are being graded.

FreezingBlueFlashcards is AMAZING!!! You can carry your flashcards everywhere you go, save time and paper, study everywhere, and not have to worry about loosing a flashcard. I thank FreezingBlueFlashcards for helping me study. I absolutely love how the flashcards that you didn't get right get repeated and it lets you choose the mode. I also love that you can create the flashcards on your computer and save time since you can type faster than on your phone. I have not complaints and recommend FreezingBlueFlashcards to all my friends. Thank you David for creating FreezingBlueFlashcards!

It works quit well. Definitely worth a try before you buy anything else. I added color, bold, italic, underline and highlight for emphasis to aid memory of key words. Impressed with free app. Ads didn't even bother me.
Never did more than 13 cards. Does have a glitch where you can't easily see the login for user name and password. For the user who had more cards, you can save it and split it into smaller groups.

Wow. Having this program for free is pretty dang awesome. I can use all of my flashcards offline (which I often am), even ones containig pictures. I can (and often do) make sets of flashcards from my computer, and transfer them to the program using a web browser. The adds don't really bug me (especially since I'm often offline) but I'm considering buying the full version just to give the author his due. I'm learning a new language (a tribal one you've never heard of) and this is a HUGE help. Seriously cool.

I absolutely love FreezingBlueFlashcards! I had finals a few weeks ago, and man did FreezingBlueFlashcards help me. You can make the flashcards on the computer and then transfer them to the ipod (that way it is a lot easier and faster to make the cards). I didn't realize this until I already made a few sets though, but when I was getting into the larger question/answer flashcards I realized that we could do it on the computer. I haven't had it crash at all. Great app! Plus its free, so you can't really beat that anyway!

I needed a flash card app for my college biology courses, and I must say that this is my favorite of all the flash card apps I have tried (and I'm only using the free version!). I like to make the cards online and then upload them to my phone.

I have only encountered problems with FreezingBlueFlashcards once. Recently it crashed every time I tried to use it, but I just reinstalled FreezingBlueFlashcards and it was fine. Yes, there are ways FreezingBlueFlashcards could be improved, but it's still the best I've found.

I love this application because you can create the cards on a PC and then upload them to your phone. Also you can let the cards know if you have memorized one of the cards so that it will only cycle through the cards you have not memorized. This saves a lot of time having to go through the entire stack again just to remember a few cards. I highly recommend this program.

I'm starting my sophmore year in college this semester and I definitely wouldn't have passed many of my classes without FreezingBlueFlashcards. the best part is how easy it is to share with your friends. my classmates can just click the link on my facebook and get the cards; sometimes we split up the questions, each find the answers and then consolidate them all in one place using FreezingBlueFlashcards. seriously a must have for any student.

I've been using FreezingBlueFlashcards for several months now while studying Chinese as an expat living in Shanghai and love it. (I have put much of the Accent Mandarin lesson words up for others to use too) It is easy to use - I keep my study list in Excel and can easily download next lesson's words into a text file and upload them to FreezingBlueFlashcards. Can review either 'side' of the 'card', and if flags ones you miss so you can review them later.

This flashcard app is awesome for studying material learned in class. It is free and I don't mind the ads since they are not that distracting. The only problem is that even if you change your card settings, they will go back to the default settings later. I wish there was a way to keep your settings the same. Overall, FreezingBlueFlashcards is a great for studying.

Ok guys, let me tell you after months of use, I absolutely ADORE FreezingBlueFlashcards! It's saved me countless amounts of times where I haven't studied for a quiz/test, such as Vocab.

The ads in FreezingBlueFlashcards aren't even noticable. I like FreezingBlueFlashcards so much, I'm even considering getting the full version JUST to give my money to the person who saved me so many times.

These flash cards are extremely user friendly and easy to use as well.

Overall 5/5 app, definately reccomended. Worth the 

EDIT: I have no idea what everyone's talking about when they say they need to go on the Internet to download cards. For me, I type in a word on my iPod, then type in te definition in the box underneath and repeat until I'm done. It's that simple!

This is a great app, especially since it's free. The biggest request I have, though, is that it would be great if there was the ability to pinch zoom into an image that is embedded into the card. There are times when I insert images that have small type. Other than that, it works as advertised.
