Flashcards with Cram Reviews

It has changed the way I study. It’s great.
A couple of things I would improve:
That I didn’t have to log in so often. It would be better if I could just open FlashcardswithCram from one day to the next, or in the morning and later in the evening and continue studying straight away where I left off.
Also, it would be great if it memorized my progress in each flash card set. So I could “cram” one set, then study another and when I went back to study the previous set it would only quiz me on the flashcards that I answered incorrectly the previous time through.
Lastly, the voice mode, where it reads the flashcards is strange on the latest version and reads at a super slow speed and I can’t find anywhere to adjust that or fix that?

i'm studying korean right now in college and we have vocabulary quizzes twice a week and a about 25 new words per week. i just to have a family member rattle off the english in a random order while i'd write it in hangul (since they don't know the language) but it was always such a hassle to wait until one of them was free.

CRAM makes it so much easier and convenient for me to study vocab!! i can do it alone and i can do it anywhere!!! the games are also very fun and helpful for memorization. the spelling one really improved my reaction time focus because i have to really look at the characters to make sure i am choosing the correct ones and in their proper order. i really recommend FlashcardswithCram to everyone, especially those trying to memorize vocabulary and phrases!!

Could use a little tweaking but it's a good app. I created several of my own flash card sets. Occasionally it would copy an answer to the next card but it's easy to correct. It allows you to copy someone else's set then edit as your own, which is a great time saver! Also allows you to choose if your set is "public" or "private." Mine was for a competitive promotional exam so I made them private, but I'll change to public after the test. 😉

I've made 14 sets and probably 300 flash cards so far. This is a great tool and FlashcardswithCram works fast but has one glitch where it makes repeat cards randomly and I can't figure out what causes it. Technical support responded and is working on it. Aside from that, I haven't had any issues with disappearing cards. The website does not appear to have the glitch but I prefer entering cards through FlashcardswithCram because I use my phone's voice-to-text function to enter the data. Entering them this way has made it very quick and easy. I'm looking into a voice-to-text on the laptop for now but the phone is so convenient. Studying is easy and convenient even when I don't have Internet access!

I love that this is free, and that I can add images BUT… I can’t for the life of me figure out how to synch between iPad and iPhone. I created two sets on iPad, they won’t show up on my phone (logged in to same account). I tried powering off/on both devices, didn’t help. What’s more: the “my flash cards” tab indicates I have no sets. One set does show up under the “recently studied” tab, the other set simply disappeared. I added both to “favorites” but they don’t show up there either. Also, the “share” option is unresponsive. Even when I search the name of the set I just created, they are nowhere to be found.

If I learn how to fix these issues I will change my review to more stars. Currently though it’s hit or miss, and not being able to share with classmates or find my cards on my other devices makes this unusable for me.

It is my go to app, I will give credit where credit is due! Before I say anything I will say that it has more of a verity of options but I just wish there was a better way or should I say more options when it comes to remembering the cards themselves; such as when we know the card maybe swipe left and the ones we do t swipe right and a way to eliminate the ones we know so we can study more of the ones we don’t... so that way we can eventually and more efficiently get through them all and say “yup! I know all of them”! You know?

FlashcardswithCram works really well if you are trying to study. It has all the right ideas but has many issues to fix. FlashcardswithCram itself is user friendly but is very slow. They need to optimize FlashcardswithCram to use photos from your album and keep them there. I use FlashcardswithCram for classes like mammalogy and anatomy. I will add pictures and then come back the next day to continue studying and find pictures have gone missing. I hope they fix this bug. Also if I try to copy and paste from one card to the other, FlashcardswithCram will crash and I have to open it again. I would often try to copy and paste because I would be studying the same species or structure at a different angle.

FlashcardswithCram works well within the basic usage. Making and using flash cards is simple and quick. If you want anything else, you should probably use a desktop or laptop. It feels like FlashcardswithCram is not made for newer iPhones (app only uses a portion of the screen), and the study games are nearly impossible to play due to the reduced screen size and google ads that appear on the bottom of the screen. There isn’t a “test” or “quiz me” function like quizlet has. A few changes and FlashcardswithCram could work extremely well on iPhone. For now, I only use FlashcardswithCram because I have to (my instructor demands this). Quizlet is better if you have a choice.

I love this free app! I like that it has options for front, back, and hint. It’s pretty intuitive, works smoothly, and is easy to use when creating new decks. I wish the photos were visible on the mobile version. Cram is better than Quizlet on the computer, as Cram allows photos on both front and back, but I cannot see the photos on the mobile version.

Made me cry. I spent hours making flash cards and their all gone. All my work is gone. I can’t even study. What a waste of my time?
Uninstall it. Big waste of my time. I spent hours 6 freaking hours like ugh. I wish there was a better free site or app than this. Thats horrible thing that just happen. Ugh!!!!! I’m going to tell my teachers and others that I shared FlashcardswithCram to to uninstall it. Its not worth it. Very frustrating! I’m very very upset. I know its free but what if you spent hours typing up something to loose it for something as simple as the screen blinking off. Made me sign in again and I lost everything. I find FlashcardswithCram super helpful when studying for tests, and I like the features and games. I started out using the computer version, and I recently got FlashcardswithCram on my phone. On the computer, you can put your sets into folders, but I haven't seen that on FlashcardswithCram (maybe it's there?)
Also I'm having a BIG PROBLEM when editing my sets! If I go back to a card I already wrote, sometimes it shows nothing like it's deleted! Then I have to write it again.:( It has happened multiple times now, PLEASE FIX!!!!!
I want to keep using FlashcardswithCram it just gets annoying!

This is the best flash card app I've used so far bc it allows you to make longer Flashcards. Being a science major I have a lot of processes to learn that are longer than a standard Flashcards. The downside of this is the site for some reason keeps squishing my words together. I don't know if it doesn't recognize some words and so it tries to correct them but I wish I didn't have to read cryptic flash cards. It usually lets me correct them but it takes longer than I'd like to spend on fixing a mistake I didn't make

I never rate apps. In fact, this is my first review! FlashcardswithCram is amazing! I highly recommend it to anyone in school. It's so convenient to pull out my phone and study without my books or a bunch of loose flash cards. The only thing I wish FlashcardswithCram he is the ability to only study the words you get incorrect. That would
Filter out several words I have already memorized. Still, it is the best flash card app I have seen!

I’ve made the terrible mistake of creating all my MCAT flash cards on Cram. Both the website and app are glitchy. On the site, I am often logged out of the deck within the few minutes I have gotten up to get a snack or use the restroom. Then, after log-in it isn’t guaranteed whether my draft is saved or not. On FlashcardswithCram , if I select the memorization function, I cannot return to the main menu. I have to shut FlashcardswithCram down completely and begin again. Also, I tried to figure out how to become a premium member but there only appears to be a premium essay membership. I wrote them about it and got no response.

I have been using FlashcardswithCram for many years now. I have passed many exams with the help of FlashcardswithCram and literally I owe the developers.
Creating personal flashcards may seem a bit time consuming at first, but when the harvest time comes, you would know their worth, especially when you come back to them after a few months.

Excellent app. Really appreciate the ability to update or build cards online. Would appreciate the ability to totally shuffle / randomize the card order, and the ability to insert pictures via FlashcardswithCram that aren't just from camera (i.e. insert a picture from the clipboard or photos library). Overall excellent with no issues though.

Let me start off by saying overall FlashcardswithCram is great and probably the best out there. But, I’ve had an issue where it will duplicate flash cards. I made 200 cards and it shows that I have 500 cards in the set which is annoying. I emailed CRAM and they said there is no glitch in FlashcardswithCram , but provided several reason FlashcardswithCram does this (I call that a glitch) and could not provide a fix nor did they say they would work on fixing the problem. Just beware when creating large sets of cards.

If I could I would give this no stars. I used to use FlashcardswithCram on my old phone and it worked great for studying. Now there must be a glitchy update or something because on "Memorize" mode once I've finished round one and I click "next round" it starts all over again with all of my right and wrong answers. Also, while making the cards it would constantly delete the front of the card while I'm doing the back, and vise versa, especially when I try to add pictures. This is very inconvenient especially because I have midterms this week and all of my subjects are on FlashcardswithCram. Very disappointed👎👎👎👎👎

I love Cram because using the Cram Mode helps me focus on the cards I need to practice the most; however, FlashcardswithCram (and the website for that matter) has glitches. Sometimes the cards that I am learning won’t register correctly or part of the application will be off screen among other problems. These are more annoyances than anything else, and if they were cleaned up it would be a truly great app.

I started my cram account on my web browser with my gmail sign in. I went to sign in on my iPad and iPhone to use FlashcardswithCram and FlashcardswithCram does not allow me to sign in using my gmail sign in. When I contacted Cram support they said they are unable to delete my account because they are “required to store my information for auditing purposes”. So now I can’t delete my account and start a new one with my email address since it’s linked to the account, but I can’t access my account in my phone or iPad basically making the account useless.
