The previous version of CoasttoCoastAMInsider was extremely basic and really not appropriate for a paid service. The new app, which took a very long time to produce and get to customers, in some ways is better but in most ways is worse. There are more clicks to get to the specific topic you want on a show. I had to uninstall and reinstall CoasttoCoastAMInsider because it stopped playing audio for all shows, even after rebooting my phone. And most recently two different show segments were playing at the same time. I really think, all things considered, that CoasttoCoastAMInsider upgrade is a step backwards. It really doesn’t give me as a user anything new that I need, it puts more process between me and the content I want, and it clearly is very buggy. There are a few basic feature homeruns that could have been implemented. It’s like no one actually asked customers what would make their lives easier… They just had some company make a new app without input from heavy users. It looks good but it really doesn’t do anything useful. I have always been a big fan of coast to coast and a paid subscriber. As such, I feel entitled to say that I deserve a better app to consume this content, especially given the finances available to the show in order to produce it. Very disappointing.

yep. one day, everything working great; downloaded a couple of shows i missed, and the next day, i went into CoasttoCoastAMInsider so i could listen to one i missed to find everything had changed! i can’t even find my way around easily like before! Very disappointed. Haven’t been back in since then. I did not choose to update the latest version! It automatically updated, and thereby i lost everything i had saved! Had I been asked to update, I wouldn’t have, because this has happened before!

Above review was some years ago. I still can’t get around as easy as i did 8-10 years ago, never found my downloaded episodes, still don’t have a clue as to how to do it now. I love the program and George, and all the guests but CoasttoCoastAMInsider itself and the site are useless to me. If I am ever lucky enough to download an episode, I can never find it, spend too much time trying to navigate my way around. And trying to change my card info so i could re-up my subscription was next to impossible, I literally had to Google it. One star.

Update: the latest update not only moved everything around so it’ll completely frustrating to use, but it wiped out two years’ worth of downloaded episodes. Many of them are no longer available. Way to god-take a bad app and make it worse. Wish I could give negative stars!!

Old review: The latest app update fixed some things and broke others. They fixed the autorotation problem in iOS by eliminating it (I guess that’s one way to fix a broken feature—just deactivate it). But they broke the feature that would automatically play the next episode after the current episode finished. This was a very useful feature, as they break each night’s show into separate hour segments. Now, CoasttoCoastAMInsider stops after each hour’s segment, and you have to manually start the next segment. There is a setting for this in CoasttoCoastAMInsider , but whether the setting is on or off, the feature doesn’t work. It’s a mystery to me how such a great radio program can continue to offer us one of the worst iOS apps ever. Wish I could give it zero stars. Come on, Coast toCoast, please get serious about your app!

After years of being an avid Coast2Coast listener I have finally had it with this terrible app. The shows are good the hosts are good but CoasttoCoastAMInsider is CRAP! It’s so surprising that such a revered show should let its dedicated followers suffer with this horrendous piece of junk app that doesn’t work correctly. To add insult to injury when you try to contact tech you get a message asking you not to contact you more than once about the same problem and that someone will contact you shortly! This would be acceptable if only someone did contact you. I’ve had it with the shoddy app and so called service and after many years I will cancel my subs and listen to the live shows on-line. While I might not be able to download episodes at least I’m not having to pay a premium for something that doesn’t work! Here comes my cancellation request! You have most certainly earned it.

Ever since I renewed my yearly subscription, I’m now forced to log out, and back in with full “user name” and password, to access my paid archived shows. Before this, I simply opened CoasttoCoastAMInsider and selected the show I wanted.
Also, It used to be that I could leave off and pick up where I left off. A couple of updates ago, now reset me to the most recent show leaving me to scrub through the list just to pick up where I left off!?!?
Why does it get worse and worse? I can simply use the site to read the news stories and get insight on the guests. Could we please get a separate “light” version of CoasttoCoastAMInsider with the old functionality that actually remembers my login info and picks up on my archived shows where I left off?
I honesty ignore all the extra crap that’s shown up on CoasttoCoastAMInsider that’s shown up in the past year. I know CoasttoCoastAMInsider is free, but I’m a paying member for the show’s archived content.

I have used CoasttoCoastAMInsider off and on for quite a long time. It's always been functional but lately in the last year it has become pretty good app to use. Allows you to listen to current shows and a page of current news as well.

Usually if bugs develop or are found they are fixed quickly

Cons: Well just one! I wish I could access the classic and the 5 years of past shows as well from CoasttoCoastAMInsider , then this easily is a 5 Star App!

Several years ago I started listening to coast on my way to gym. Now I have been going through cancer treatment for past several years, sleep is fleeting and very frustrating. I have the membership now and listen all hours. I look forward to the topics and various guests. I don’t agree with them all, but DO appreciate the different perspectives. Some callers get defensive when not in agreement, however I think it is important to always challenge what we think we know . I love how respectful George and other hosts are to the callers. What a fantastic show. I have even become attached to the frequent callers. In this age if cancel culture we need more ways to connect with like minded people.

Been listening to coast to coast for 20 years. Since I was a young boy with art bells voice coming out of a little battery operated an radio under my pillow. Learning about all the weird stuff out there. So cool to be able to stream and download for daytime and or offline listening for a pretty reasonable price. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because they don’t play the emerging artists music for the downloads or streams but they do play some ads ! If I’m paying I don’t want any ads! But It would be nice to hear those artists they feature with nice audio instead of am radio quality. George is starting to go permanently from the rails a little but but I still love him
And all the guest hosts except Connie Willis.

I have enjoyed this show for years, when the insider option came out I thought it would be great to listen to my shows while waiting at the VA Hospital for an appointment or during the over night stays that have happened.
I have had some problems with my saved shows. When C2C upgraded the whipped out my library and now I find the shows will only save for so long and must be re-downloaded as the VA doesn’t have the internet it is kind of a let down when you can’t listen to a saved show.
For the most part the shows are good but have seen a shift in subjects lately so will have to play it by ear to see if I continue listening.

Everyday I hope for the update and still no fix after all these months. Please spend a little and address at least some of the problems guys! After receiving phone calls while listening to c2c CoasttoCoastAMInsider always starts the entire hour you are listening to completely over from the starting point instead of where you were before receiving the call. That can get very annoying. Previous versions of CoasttoCoastAMInsider didn't have this problem. Please fix the bugs and this will be the great app we've been wanting and waiting for! A high quality show like C2C should be able to hire a someone to produce CoasttoCoastAMInsider that has the simple features we need. We pay a considerable amount of money to be insiders and CoasttoCoastAMInsider is supposed to be the heart of the system.

I have been listening for at least 35 years. Art Bell before George. I bought a Walkman Radio and ear bud, I am deaf in one ear, so I would not miss anything. I love being able to download programs that I might miss a part of because I might fall asleep. And the Bumper Music is amazing! Still looking for a site to download the “Sounds of Silence” that a new singer did. I had it written down but never found it. That was a song that helped me through some really bad times. Seems like memories are what I have more of these days. I am the oldest of my old friends. May God bless us all so we never have to submit to a new normal that I lived through in a couple of World Wars. A friend told me about C to C in the late 90s and I just loved it from day one. Almost twenty five years later I still listen whenever possible. I am a long time Coast Insider so I get to listen any time of day and chose the topics that appeal to me at any given moment. I listen while cleaning my house and a dreaded, unpleasant task becomes a nice break. It’s as fantastic as ever! It’s comforting late at night, so fascinating, informative and stress reducing at any time. The entertainment factor is wonderful. I hear fresh info and a unique perspective on George’s nightly news which I love.
CoasttoCoastAMInsider itself is great and so conveniently organized. I’ve got all the categories and choices down pat now. Once in awhile a glitch may appear but no big deal. I’m so grateful…

Noorey Beets the rest of the News to the Max. That is, if you are ok with him constantly selling you his own brands of nutritional supplements, his dating site, his TV Show, and his buddy ol’ pals over at “News”Max. Oh and let’s not forget the endless commercials for beauty products and my all-time favorite , (thing is that you will here at least 35 times in your head the same commercials for “Carnivora. But when the show does actually play it’s the best on radio.

George Napp is the best Radio host they have on weekends. He also happens to be one of the few remaining real Journalist working ans is dedicated professional and respects privacy and source checking. If this man says it happened, it happened. Peace . ✌🏼😎

Almost all broadcasts give new information to the varying topics. I have gained so much knowledge listening to this. It has changed my life all around. My only regret is that this broadcast is not available to everyone at more available times. I don’t know many people that can stay awake between 1:00 and 5:00 am est to listen. I almost always catch 1:00 to 3:00 and usually fall asleep before the next program starts. I have considered getting the package to listen to it anytime but find that my days don’t always allow for listening as closely as I do at night! Wonderful programs. Only starting listening this past year and I love it. George is the best!

I am a nurse, and was going to work early one morning on dark, foggy country road. Only thing I could get on radio was a talk show but it was about something spooky, and here I was alone on this lonely road. Bad part is the station was drifting in and out. I would hear enough to feel really uncomfortable, then it would drift out. Moderator had a soft soothing voice, and I finally heard enough to catch the Coast to coast. After being on edge for an hour I made it to work, but I was hooked !!! Was sick when Art Bell left, but George came in with his soothing voice and it was like nothing had changed, George has been great. I have been an avid insider since 1998. I dont miss a show!

I’ve been coast insider for over 10 years I’m guessing maybe longer and been listening since Art Bell was there in late 90’s. Best radio show ever thought of! Art and GEORGE and all cannot do a show better than this and others need not try. Anyone who does has a weak copy cat at best!
I recommend to all and usually tell people every week. I’ve gotten so many hooked on this show by just steering them to it.
It’s almost like going to a college course on the air that has every subject and even similar shows with different instructors but mostly it presents truth , which I believe we are all looking for!
Can’t say enough good about it!

Your app is super and works just wonderful on my iPhone 7! I installed it yesterday March 30, 2018 and it’s still working great today. I noticed that one review just ahead of mine, I guess, was complaining that this version was the worst ever! I do not find this to be the case in fact it seems to be quite stable on my iPhone 7!

As for the content of your organization, you have a new lifelong member now, who is 67 years of age with plenty of experiences... quite a bit in my life so far! I have experienced everything from spirits to UFO spacecraft witch is to me identified spacecraft as they are here from other planets! I just don’t know from which one(s). I’m now learning more and more and as much as I can obtain from you and any source as to how long they have been helping mankind and where they are from in our huge solar system! I don’t want to say much more here because I want to get back and listen and see more of your broadcasts both live and recorded!

Thank you from deepest part of my soul! I do highly recommend CoasttoCoastAMInsider to everyone! You get a full five stars from this kid! BTW I believe you ARE the first app I have ever given five stars to, so that should tell you something! My hats off to all who have given their time for all of us out here!

I love Coast to Coast AM, and it's part of my day every day, but CoasttoCoastAMInsider could use some work. It just doesn't function like other podcasts do on my iPhone 4. It stops playing when I go on the internet, and also it doesn't always remain in "Now Playing" mode if I am doing other things on my phone. Also, Coast to Coast Insider membership is advertised as being able to access years and years of archived shows, but CoasttoCoastAMInsider only makes the last 7 days available, which is a little misleading. Should be able to listen to all of that old stuff on the go, not just on my home computer. Coast is a great show with millions of listeners and, one can imagine, millions of Insider members. They should make every effort to satisfy the people who pay money to support the show. Love the show very much, but CoasttoCoastAMInsider could use some user-friendly improvements.

I am hooked on C2C and the variety of programs that George Noory and crew put together daily! I appreciate being informed on the topics all of them cover. I hear about News and topics that the main stream media won’t cover. I know the information that I’m getting is truthful honest and vetted. This encourages me to read up and find out more. I’m happy to know that I can take host to coast radio with me anywhere I go.

Destiny calling: I accidentally found coast to coast radio through a sister radio station WSB Atlanta , KFI Los Angeles, KHVH Hawaii. Then I found out my aunts and uncles and my father had listen to Art Bell. It was meant to be mind opening.

Tiresome downloading, IF it even works. Help support would make it sound like my fault until recently. Just go back to putting it in iTunes, please! OCTOBER UPDATE: Still hate CoasttoCoastAMInsider with a passion! While camping, I found out that the shows I thought I had downloaded had 0:00 minutes on them. Horrible! APRIL UPDATE: we were doing pretty well there for awhile, until last week. Now ALL downloads fail - try again. I've reinstalled and complained, but I don't even get a response from support. I can no longer listen to the show as I fall asleep, since streaming doesn't stop on it's own. This is insane.
MAY UPDATE: It's working, knock on wood. Thank you.

So why does it work most of the time but sometimes it’s just obstinate and won’t let me log in? I have been a subscriber to CTC for at least a decade and sometimes when I want to listen the show list is blank. I log out and try to log back in and nothing happens. After about a dozen attempts, including deleting CoasttoCoastAMInsider from my iPad and reinstalling, it still won’t let me log in. Then I wake up the next morning and find it’s already connected! Makes me so angry that it won’t work when I want it to.
As a suggestion for developers I would love to be able to make a list or mark shows that I want to listen to or mark shows as having been listened to. Downloading takes too much space in my iPad.

I love this show. Enough to deal with CoasttoCoastAMInsider . Can’t have one without the other so, enjoy!
1. Can’t read the show summary in CoasttoCoastAMInsider . I often have many new ones when I get to it, trying to choose is random. No way to know what they are talking about so you just pick and pray.

2. It isn’t the same as other audio apps. When you click pause and play with your headphone button, it doesn’t work! It also doesn’t automatically stop playing when you unplug the headphone. Often lose my spot assuming it’s stopped when it hasn’t.

3. Doesn’t hold your place. If you want to come back later, you have to FF to find where you left off.

4. The “play next” button is in a weird place so I’m always hitting it on accident. Which is a hassle because skipping back to your last spot doesn’t work- see #3.

5. They seem to have the same 2 health guys on all the time. And even though they say they are not selling, they really are. The pharmacist guy for sure is. Get some other health people please!

6. Enough politics, get back to aliens!

Don’t get me wrong, I love this show. I have memories of listening to it when I was in high school and college back in the late 90s to the early 2000s. CoasttoCoastAMInsider brings the show and older shows to be iPhone which is great but they really new to update CoasttoCoastAMInsider with more features.

On the website you can search episodes via host and episode subjects, CoasttoCoastAMInsider does not have that feature. So if I want to find shoes by Art Bell I have to go one by one through all the shows till I find one and then hope it’s a show about a subject I am interested in.

Now I am sure you are asking “well why doesn’t he just play the episodes from their website?”. The issue lies in the fact that some of their episodes use their coast to coast player (which works with iOS) but some shows use Windows Media Player (which doesn’t).

So that leaves two options for Coast 2 Coast... allow for better searching on CoasttoCoastAMInsider OR make it to where all shows on their website use the Coast 2 Coast built in player so people can just use the site to search and play ALL the episodes.

Please fix the annoying skipping issue with downloaded shows that has been there from the beginning. It jumps to the next hour anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes at the end of an hour. Very annoying; especially when driving.

There needs to be a search on the “SHOWS” tab. Scrolling forever is not an efficient way of finding what you want. Also, a folder view for each day or calendar view is a lot easier when browsing shows than one big list where every line looks the same.

I’m a Coast insider since the program was started many years ago. The old app always worked. This new one is faulty in all areas. Different shows play when you select a specific show. It’s like roulette, you never know what is going to play. The download issue is better than last year though still not as efficient as the old app. Right now I have no access to last nights show, CoasttoCoastAMInsider is playing a show from 2 nights ago. I’ve tried reloading, different devices, even the main website is featuring the wrong show in the time slot. Really not worth the time any more.

CoasttoCoastAMInsider does what it is supposed to do but it’s definitely not the greatest app I’ve ever used. I would definitely make it more user friendly - the past shows section is simply archaic. It does not make it easy to search for shows. You should be able to search for shows with various parameters. It simply isn’t user friendly in this aspect. Also, in the photos section, individual photos should be linked their prospective shows and visa versa. Hopefully they catch on and make improvements! Thank you!

Been listening since the early 90’s - so happy to have an app. However ***** 5 stars for the show - ****4 stars for CoasttoCoastAMInsider just because I cannot go through and delete shows from CoasttoCoastAMInsider saving some, without it kicking me back to the start of the list after something deletes. If I have 40 shows saved it just becomes that much more difficult to scroll back and forth - can you change that please. Keep up the great work - and kindly George continue the format of four hour segments on some of the most edg shows on human potential - often 2 segment shows just don’t go deep enough anymore....and yes more access to past shows via CoasttoCoastAMInsider please...love you all ❤️❤️

I love listening to C2C on my phone but the new version is just not as functional as the previous one. Two things that bug me: more difficult (takes longer) looking for past shows and on many show descriptions it cuts off before the topic is clear - there's no ability to read more and I can't access the full web version from my phone. Also it would be lovely if the host was mentioned for each show as there is one that I just cannot tolerate even when her topic interests me.

I already had an inkling that 5 G is DANGEROUS to the Human body & All Of The “microwave energy”, dangers from the low frequency energy emitted from routers in the home ETC. Now With All Of The Perps Running Around Using Directed Energy Weapons On Targeted Individuals & Gang Stalking Citizen Groups Using This Technology. They Will Be Slow Killing Many More People. The World Is Dying Faster Than Folks Would Want To Admit. We Are Destroying Our Planet. This Topic Of 5G and many other interesting topics like Global Warming. I’m 30 years old and have been listening to George for around ten years. Since a mind blowing story about a war and people on mars, I couldn’t stop. I listen every night for about an hour and the only complaint I have is the girl you have on who hosts occasionally. She talks for like 10-15 minutes about her own shows and it’s just garbage. I don’t have that much time and it’s just fluff talk omg. Super annoying. You won’t make it very far with my generation if you don’t have bullet points you’re hitting every few seconds. Anyways, huge fan. Just wanted to share.

C2C used to have a rule that people calling in couldn't be back on the air for several weeks. It's ridiculous that you hear the same people keep calling in every night. Has their listeners dropped off over the years so they have to keep taking calls from the same people every night? Give the new listeners a chance!

How can I stop ads and bumper music when listening to Insider. If I can’t stop the ads I will drop the insider.

How do I go directly to the guest speaker on the insider and can miss the ads and George Noory opening news and introductions. Guest only on the Insider please. I signed up on the Insider to miss all the ads and music.

Insider for years. The app will delete saved shows after a sort period of time. The shows tile present but 0 data. Guess u don’t seem to understand what save means. I can manage my storage issues This is a major issue with snd seriously considering dropping my subscription

Not recommended. I tried to subscribe by credit card. They charged me but I got an error in their website stating that the address on my account is invalid but there's no way for me to enter my address!

The App and More I can honestly say the app has not been an issue with me. I scroll around and pick what I want. .. I down loaded the app from C2C home page and not the dreaded app store. Maybe that's why I don't know. My main issue is it states listen to past shows commercial free. That's a load of you know what. There's plenty commercial and the amount is growing. This may be my last year with Insider.

I have been an insider for a lot of years. The app hasn't always worked well . And I am not great with computers. Last week listening on insider . She went for a while and then stopped. I shut it offwent back in. And it wanted me to log back in . I cannot make it work . I dont understand . My wife spent hours trying . To log in. Now I have spent hours trying . Is this the secret to the success of this program. Get you hooked then , shut off the app. And customer spends days trying to listen to the next part of the show. Reading some of the comments I see , that I am not the only one, Having trouble with this . My question is why do you continue to use this app . It certainly is not a credit to your program. ,
