Deep Whois Reviews

I use DeepWhois to investigate different IP’s related to my content. Yet once in awhile like tonight (New Years 2022) it stated I don’t have access! For something I pay monthly for. Something I can’t log in or even make an account. I find that to be a subversive behavior. So who has access then if users like myself can’t even register with DeepWhois ? Who are you to tell me I have no access when nobody at your platform has credentials like I do? Nobody at your platform has legitimate records for CVE, penetration testing, beaten federal jackets, ranked in the top 50 of CVE tickets and user who seeks the truth. So tonight I deleted DeepWhois . This is the game you want to play cool. If making money is your business plan. Your not really making money when people who pay for DeepWhois walks away. So to those who like the ability to access information to vector data. I suggest you don’t use DeepWhois. I personally resent the fact you say I have no access, yet have zero ways to register for said services. So keep discriminated against “paying users” let’s see if you about anything other then role playing god.

I couldn’t believe it. DeepWhois simply works as it should and it works very well. For me, better than using sites online and you aren’t constantly bombarded with redirects and ads. Thank you!!

DeepWhois does exactly what it says it’ll do. Also has a built in history option which is superb. Definitely added to the list of essential downloads.

I love it. It gives me what I need quick and easy. I also like that it saves everything offline. There is a Whois function on the other apps by thus author. Some people may not need DeepWhois. Me I like it. I do wish there was also a scearch to see if that person hosts any other websites. Also maybe input information an it finds websites that person may host. Add those functions and DeepWhois will be 20/5 stars. Over all I love it.

So I got my own ip and it told my really nothing at all. It isn’t as advertised and doesn’t tell you any addresses or names or anything just says the address of their phone company and it’s name. Disappointed.

Love DeepWhois, it is loaded and has never failed me. Wish he would update it and a better design, but even as it is... 5*!!

DeepWhois is a faithful standby and gets used a lot. Remembers your searches which is nice. Very handy. Thank you!

I seen another review say DeepWhois killed their phone didn’t think it was possible. I ended up running DeepWhois once now all of my applications say no Internet connection. Also google and everything else won’t work. Found that super sketch calling Apple now, use at your own risk!

I recommended to everyone for using DeepWhois for whois searching.

If you need to know quickly and accurately who an IP belongs to, or who owns a domain, and you don't have access to a computer, DeepWhois is like the diamond in the rough. No more calling your techies and asking them to look it up, having to repeat spelling and IPs while they wait on the response. No more sending an email and waiting on that response. Type it in yourself and go! Excellent time saver when visiting clients to troubleshoot, or when working out issues from within the datacenter with no crash cart nearby.

I wish the results could scale to fit the width of the screen; since they come back from the server in a monospace font, there's some left-right scrolling. I wish also that the input switched to the iPhone's URL-optimized keyboard when entering domain names.

But it does do the job, and I'm grateful for DeepWhois .

Dunno why they felt the need to call it 'deep', but it's a whois program. I've had no issues with it. The UI is intuitive and, at least to me, aesthetically pleasing.

It saves searches you've done on sites, refreshes when asked, and allows them to be grouped.

If you expect something other than whois, good luck with that, but I didn't, so five stars it is.

Gives detailed info about the owner of any domain name. You can see everything from the hosting company to the owner's name and address and phone number.

But if they buy the privacy protection from their web hosting company for around $12/year, you can only see the name of the hosting company and no owner's info.

I usually use sam spade, but this looks much nicer --and faster too!

If you use a resellers' domain search, be prepared to lose that name to a "ghost" if you do not buy the name right away. Deep Whois is a great way to look for domain names without alerting a reseller!

This is a Five Star App And A Five Star Developer!

A good tool for looking up sites you might have questions about or that look questionable. It deserves five stars but I think the interface still needs a liitle more work. Just the same, best out there.

Sometimes iPhones get funky. Sometimes you catch network traffic that makes you go "huh?". Or sometimes you see a domain name and go "really?". Or sometimes you see an IP and.... you get the point.

This will suit your Whois needs.

DeepWhois definitely has proven itself useful over time. I most definitely would like to see an iPad version, and any other new enhanced version if that ever makes sense -- the person or people behind DeepWhois most definitely know how to make great apps.

Works generally fine for it's intended purpose. I don't use it too often, but when I do I wish it included the standard browser bar keyboard with shortcuts for the most popular top level domains (.com etc.). As one reviewer already pointed out, it is a major pain to have to manually type those out for each and every domain.
