Perfect CRM!!!! Love it!!

My small company didn’t have a CRM when I came on board from a large corporation. I got tired of hand writing my call notes on file folders after each sales call, after each customer visit and then have to re-type again, a weeks worth of sales call notes to turn in to my boss.
After downloading 10 different CRM free trial apps, this was the very best for what I wanted to do and use it for. Now, I log notes after each sales call, can attach a picture or quote (pdf) to the account profile and or log notes, edit, add or delete important information to review before each sales call, add a “color tag” to each account, to visually see when I’m scrolling through customer list, who is a Prospect, Existing, Cold Call or No opportunity customer. Best part is, at the end of the week, I can just “Export” and can sort by date, logs, etc. my entire week of sales call notes to my boss by email. It’s complete with all customer information and I can also schedule a follow up or “To Do” for each call that notifies me when due or past due. I love ContactsJournalCRM!! My company has encourage the other reps to download and use ContactsJournalCRM and they will reimburse them. It’s an efficient tool. Best $25 ever spent!!

iCloud sync and Siri Commands

Auto sync with iCloud doesn’t work the way I would like it to work. I deleted contacts on phone app to 168 records. I Sync’d iCloud with google account to 168 records. When I used auto sync on ContactsJournalCRM it brings all my old deleted records back giving me a total of 216 contacts again even though I hand deleted these records on this CJ app too. Tech support was very responsive and gave me some work arounds and said they will provide some user options for syncing with iCloud in a future update. They didn’t have it set up to auto delete their app contact records to match iCloud for fear that you might also lose To-Dos, Logs and other information that is only in their app. Also, Siri add new contact doesn’t actually complete the action for me on my iPhone. Again, tech support has been very responsive to give me some things to try directly in the Apple Shortcuts app to get it to work right. Other than these issues I am extremely happy with all the capabilities of this Contacts Journal app and love the fact that this company is so responsive. Highly recommended you give ContactsJournalCRM a try.

Oh my I Rediscovered this great app

I have had ContactsJournalCRM for years since I entered the IPAD world. In my business having a good contact app is good a thing as a consultant. I normally would use my Calendar and a note app for business notes and follow up. Over the last year, I have watched many updates to ContactsJournalCRM but I never really used it until recently. I was amazed and it has become primary app for client contact, notes, follow up. The reason why I like it more now, it is simple to use and it does what it suppose to do quickly. the split screen function is a winner because I can use my calendar and ContactsJournalCRM to update my notes while looking at my calendar. then i find out I can add documents, email links as a split screen option and it just get better and better. Now my contacts, logging and follow up workflow is better organized and look forward in using ContactsJournalCRM going forward for a long time.

Best App for Small Businesses

ContactsJournalCRM is amazing. I own an small event planning and design company and use Contacts Journal CRM as my go to app for CRM. ContactsJournalCRM keeps me organized. I use ContactsJournalCRM to record client touch points, to record time, and to keep track of correspondence sent to and received from clients. The ability to set up email templates helps me to have seamless integration between my business email accounts (Goggle Business) and ContactsJournalCRM. Most importantly, I don't just look on top of my game when interacting with clients, I actually am able to perform more efficiently and effectively as a small business over since I integrated the various tools provided by Contacts Journal CRM into my workflow. In fact, I Love ContactsJournalCRM so much, I purchased versions for my Macbbok, iPad and iPhone. The developers are very responsive and provide timely feedback and instructuins to help users maximize the full functionality of ContactsJournalCRM . #WorthTheInvestmet.

Wonderful Customer Contact Journal

Very well thought out. Relatively easy to use. Very flexible and will customize to the way you work with flexibility in adding custom fields. Export function is terrific. Output any section by contact to email, print etc. love the contact sync function with apple contact app. Keeps it all tidy. Logging to to multiple contacts is sweet.

Just some ideas. Device sync in iCloud a bit sketchy. Haven’t got it to work. Manual sync with Dropbox is not appealing. Template merge is good. Would like to see the log heading appear first and not “template”. Would like output/share option to either log or file. Need to have option to place subject line or heading in log share. Now you need to add this on top line of copy/ share sequence. Be nice to have shortcut in todo to be able to add (temporarily) task to my todo day today, without rolling/changing date to today.

Worth the money if you’re serious about organization and contact management. Like an admin in your pocket. Highly recommend.

Great CRM for sales

Still my go to app. I’ve been using this for over 9 years and I use it throughout the day. I love that it’s a one time charge for unlimited access, and the updates keep coming! Support has been great when I’ve had issues or questions. I needed something to be my memory when I make calls and visits. It automatically date and time stamps entries so I can look back and say “when was that?” Everything is searchable - contacts, logs, to-dos. And everything can be easily exported for reporting. Love the map showing where the contacts are nearby. And now they have added archiving - this is a great feature! Contacts from previous jobs can be archived, but not lost. I resisted spending the money at first, but I’m so glad I did!

Visually Lacking

I’ve tried several personal and business CRM apps and this one is the most simple to use. I really like the export feature so I can see all my logs for each person on one sheet. The map tab is really cool to see where contacts are, really nice when traveling and realizing there’s someone nearby you can meet for a quick meeting or meal. Also like that it syncs across my Mac, iPad and iPhone.

My biggest problem is...It’s so ugly! You’re unable to change font color, sizes, type face, etc. From what I’ve read in the reviews, ContactsJournalCRM has looked the same for years. Exporting creates a PDF that I think is Times New Roman. Bleh!

The most annoying part is the profile fields on the Mac version only shows one line so if I type something long, I can only view it on my iPhone.

I also stopped using the To Do list because when I linked it to my calendar, the only option for time is a start and end date, no all day feature. Now I use Fantastical for tasks.

ContactsJournalCRM also duplicates my contacts. Some kind of glitch from the Apple Contacts. Apparently, Apple combines Google and iCloud profiles for convenience. But ContactsJournalCRM creates two profiles. So I had to go through and unlink Google, delete the profile in Contacts, then go back and delete the duplicate from ContactsJournalCRM .

Overall, good app that I’ll use until I find something better.

Oh My Gosh!! The New 2019 Update!!!

Fantastic Upgrade! Lots more flexibility, lots more color, and it crosses over to my iPad and Mac, effortlessly! Thank you for listening, and constantly improving ContactsJournalCRM. I’ve used for many years. Make sure you sign up for the unlimited version! You WILL use ContactsJournalCRM, as information flows seamlessly from and to Apple’s Contact List. Great use of color now, in tabs and pins. Would be nice to allow us to name what the pins color represents, like a key chart. Overall, one of the most used apps in my devices! And the New Quick Add secondary app also works seamlessly, to either add a customer or prospect quickly, or to look up one fast!! Thank you for sticking with this - It has become my life-blood for my sales business!

Lost approx. 200 client contacts and NO HELP

After multiple attempts in the last several weeks to get help with the ICloud Sync that wouldn’t work and receiving unhelpful answers that didn’t apply to my questions I tried one last time on my own and ContactsJournalCRM proceeded to delete all but three of my client contacts. I’ve lost over a year’s work, all my To Do lists, all my downloaded pics, everything. I’m devastated and am hearing NOTHING from support to help me. I have what I think is a backup that may contain all the data but every time I try to follow the steps to restore my contacts I get an error message on my IPad and my new MacAir. Why can I not get my data from ICloud??? This makes no sense. I bought a Mac just so I could easily share ContactsJournalCRM’s info back and forth between my devices and it was a total bust as far as I’m concerned. To say I’m disappointed and distraught is a huge understatement. I can’t even begin to replace all that work and client information.

The BEST CRM tool for your Apple products

This is the most amazing CRM tool I’ve seen in ContactsJournalCRM Store! I use Salesforce everyday for work and I wish it had a lot of the functionality ContactsJournalCRM offers!! I’ve emailed the support team and I thought I would never hear back, boy was I wrong! Even for a simple functionality I didn’t understand they replied the next day with an answer. I love that they always update it to make it better! I’ve showed all my friends ContactsJournalCRM and how I can manage all my C-Level contacts right in the palm of my hand and not miss a thing! ContactsJournalCRM is so intuitive too! I could go on and on but no one likes to read long messages. BUY it you won’t be disappointed!!

Great for managing donors and relationships!

I am self-employed and was used to using excel spreadsheets and a combination of other apps to do what I realized contacts journal could do all inside of one app! I have a network of relationships that relate to my job of close to over 500 people and contacts journal makes managing it all in one place less complex and more intuitive al the while syncing to the native contact app on my iPhone making everything connected and easier to manage on my end. Thank you makers of Contact Journal. Hoping things only continue to improve as there are small things that would make life simpler with ContactsJournalCRM , but the pros FAR outweigh any cons.

Total TRUST in cJournal

Suggestion: under address information tabs Phone Numbers - 1)miss adding persons name so I know which number is which 2)
when adding personal names to anything that the personalized list to choose from be Alphabetized so it you have used name before you do not have to create a second and duplicate name.

the Greatest:
Have used CJ for years have thousands of contacts with loads of data notes. The few times over the years I’ve had problems cJournal has immediately SOLVED my problems without any loss of data!!! Thank YOU! For a Quality and easy to use system. Couple of years later and I stand behind the above!

Great product for Sales

I use this as a full CRM to keep track of my sales calls, leads, and customers. I load all the information from each business card so I have no need to keep them and have all their I go electronically stored. All locations are mapped so I can see who I’m close to for warm calls. I do wish I could link this to my outlook calendar but that’s me being picky. I tried many CRM apps before landing on this one and can say with certainty, this is the best one and is flexible with its use. It’s like the other CRM apps try to hard and will only work if you want to follow their process. I would recommend ContactsJournalCRM to anyone in sales.

Perfect solution for business

Are use ContactsJournalCRM to be able to run a business so that my sister and I can share information and have everything current and up-to-date in a moments notice. The option to assign tags is awesome and definitely helps in our line of business. I like the feature that it adds a phone log and then we can put notes in and also take pictures when we go to customer visits. The other benefit is being able to export and import easily. Definitely a great solution if you’re looking for one.

Best Contact CRM tool with great flexibilities

I have used ContactsJournalCRM for several years and I love it. I have tried many different apps, so far this is the best and it keeps getting better with new features. I especially love being able to attach photos to the Contact’s logs and also as files and can rename the photos in the Files area. Tech Support by email is usually one day but they do get back to you and with good answers. Backup is easy and can be done manual or automatically. I have used restore when I make a mess of things. Keep up the good work!

Great App for my Real Estate Business!

ContactsJournalCRM keeps all of my prospects, leads very tidy and in one place. Like any new system there is a learning curve but the interface is easy to use so it only took me a few days to get it to do what I wanted. There is no way to track financials like on Base/ Sell but once a prospect becomes a Lead I transfer the info over (I think I like this way too. I do A LOT of prospecting). The price is awesome! No in-app purchases. Been using CJournal for 5 months and I can’t remember ContactsJournalCRM crashing. I have zero complaints.
One suggestion- create a graphic design app like Canva so I can drop that app like a bad habit 😜

Best Sales App EVER!

Seriously, there is only one thing that could make ContactsJournalCRM any better for use in outside sales. The addition of a place to track orders/commission would be the only addition that I can possibly think of to make ContactsJournalCRM any better. I prefer to list each contact as the business name and put my contacts’ names in the business field and it works beautifully as the customer “folder” to track every phone call, email, and meeting. I love that if compose an email or text message within ContactsJournalCRM that it puts a copy of it in that folder’s log. AWESOME APP, WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

A great app that does what is says!

I’ve used Contacts Journal CRM for a number of years and still love it. I really like it’s balance of features and simplicity. Also, I can’t remember a time when it crashed or had an issue. The level of configuration and customization is spot on.

The ability to use variables like contact name in the email templates really helps to add functionality that is was above the precise tag for this software.

I hope they keep up the good work. My only advice would maybe a face lift, but only if it did not take away from the program’s simplicity.

Good so far - Personal Use

Unlike most people, I use ContactsJournalCRM for personal use. I’ve wanted a way to be able to keep track of friend’s lives more easily, follow up with them and remember what we talked about (yes, this is part of being a good friend, but let’s face it, it’s difficult to do this when you have a wide circle). It’s important to me that people feel acknowledge and remembered and ContactsJournalCRM helps me do that. I really like ContactsJournalCRM so far, though I’ve just started using it. I will update more as I continue to use it but so far it’s going to be perfect for what I want to do.

Would appreciate some tech support.

I have to make this quick because I have a business to run.

When CJ works it has been terrific however when we have had contact support it’s been horrible. At the moment, due to sync problems that we haven’t been helped with, CJ only works on two out of 5 devices. We have contacted tech support a few times. They have asked for screen shots of the problem…… crickets. I contacted them again…….crickets. Doesn’t matter how good a piece of software is if it isn’t supported. Right now my biggest stress is the inability to work with CJ like we should be able. Wish I had something better to say. This has been going on for two months so I waited awhile before griping.

General manager

ContactsJournalCRM is really terrific. It has lots of ways to track the progress of the sales cycle, to be reminded of different events, to plan, and to search local areas and then see the pens on the map so that you can plan which account to go to first. Very well thought out and I look forward to the future enhancements which come out regularly. I think the product is really first class and definitely does the job. I recommend it highly.

Really good app and it gets better, and better, and better!

Impressive but incomplete

I just started using ContactsJournalCRM but as a previous programmer I love the idea of a database type app. It gives ContactsJournalCRM more flexibility. Even though it already has so much capability and it is customizable, it just needs some additional customize abilities which I already sent in comments about (sorting by created fields, also it be nice to change the order of the tabs I’d like to have the info tab first for my purpose, plus the link the todos with the IOS reminders be nice and real helpful), then I could add that additional 5th start. But thanks for thinking outside the usual app box.

Do not buy

This is app is terrible. Aesthetically it’s nice, but it’s similar to a supermodel that will leave you for a 86 yr old billionaire. It just doesn’t wanna work. I’ve been using ContactsJournalCRM for over a year now. I’m a celebrity hair colorist and travel all over the country for work. ContactsJournalCRM constantly deletes tons of valuable information. Randomly deletes my contacts and randomly deletes the info sections of contacts where I keep all my formulas and previous prices. The sync doesn’t work at all, when I enter ContactsJournalCRM on my phone it will delete client information on my iPad, and vice versa. I tried turning off syncing and backups to see if it would somehow resolve. I’ve since lost over 50 client formulas. I’m gonna have to use something else because this is too much of a headache.

A Must Have App for Sales

I use ContactsJournalCRM every day to coordinate my sales calls and find other customers in the general area that I am making calls to be more effective. In sales, time is money and ContactsJournalCRM helps save you time and helps you earn more $$$ by being more efficient. Best technical support by any app I’ve ever used. These people really care and it shows. If you’re an outside sales rep, you need ContactsJournalCRM as it will will help organize your time and make it so much easier to schedule calls in any geographic area.

Great APP for outside sales people without a CRM

My company does not provide a CRM so I sought out an APP that would allow me to keep notes on my customer visits. ContactsJournalCRM is very customizable and allows me to make quick notes on my visits. I love the MAP feature and the ability to make To-Do lists. It would be great if ContactsJournalCRM had a web interface so when I’m working on my laptop I could more easily refer to my notes/todos but for the Money ContactsJournalCRM has far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommended it.

Amazing! Using it for over 5 years now!

After having tried VIP Orbit, Base CRM and the Lite Version of Contacts Journal, I was ready to buy this - even at $7.99 (when I originally bought it 5 years back). If you interact with people and want to keep tabs on what they said last, what needs to be done, etc - this is ContactsJournalCRM for you!
Syncs with Calendar and Contacts App of Apple. Backs up to Drop box, iCloud and usable with my iPad. . So no 'annual fees' like some of the other solutions.
I LOVE THIS!

Helpful customer service; still improving

I have used ContactsJournalCRM for years to log notes from my counseling as a pastor, and the journal feature is very helpful.
I recently encountered a glitch, though: it’s way too easy to erase all your contacts! However, customer service hung in there with me for over 24 hours until I had been able to restore them.
Adding a safety net so this can’t happen, along with a method to eliminate duplicate contacts, are improvements that will make ContactsJournalCRM a 5-star one.

I put about 2000 records in cjournal in my ipad and iphone, and sync with Contacts. However, syncing is causing lots of duplicates; I now have about 3600 contacts. I need a way to combine duplicate and similar records and a way to stop the record duplication. This is a deal-breaker issue. I purchased a macbook and the mac version of cjournal understanding the mac version had more features, hoping it would give me more useful tools to remove or combine duplicate records. No duplicate record management features, and actually fewer features than the ipad version. The mac version of Contacts does include some deduplication capability, but Contacts deletions do not sync to cjournal, so I will still have to delete or combine about 1600 records manually in cjournal. Worse, the duplication is continuing and I don't know what is causing it. HELP!

I was loving my Contacts Journal on my IPad until it started crashing every time I try to Cloudsync. It also sent only partial information over to my new MacBook Air so my contacts are not complete and I can’t use them efficiently for emailing and for income statements, etc. can you please help me?? I’ve sent a couple messages and haven’t heard back from anyone. I really need this for my business and have hundreds of clients in my Journal. Thank you, Amy Bliss-Miller Bliss Garden Concepts
