A Real Life Saver!
I have an iPhone 4 with ios5 that was given to me a set up by a part time job. I have allllllllll my contacts for my own business in the phone. When the part time job ended I realized my contacts were saved/synced in my work email I risked totally loosing my hundreds of client contacts when my work email account was going to be ended. ContactsBackup allowed me to copy all my contacts into a csv file. Then I was able to email that file to 2 other personal emails for safe keeping. Then I went to my contacts, unsynced my phone with the email(wich lost everything). After the phone was clean, I went to ContactsBackup and re-imported all of my contacts back to the phone.

Went thru many apps that could not download my 4000 contacts easy or for free. Loved that it could merge duplicate contacts, but when I looked at the file...everything was still duplicated. Could not figure out to fix that so I could resolve in phone without linking each duplicate 1 by 1.

Makes backup of contact data, independent of Apple, fast and easy enough that you can do it routinely, whenever you add a new contact, without interrupting your work. Also great for manually syncing your phone and with contact lists on your computer or email server; in my case at least, these lists need to share some contacts but aren't identical, and the import/export features of ContactsBackup let me control what goes where. Works fine with a Synology NAS.

As the title says I never write reviews for apps but ContactsBackup just blew my mind.
I'm a very tech savvy person, however there's no easy way of fixing duplicates nor editing contacts thru Mac, iCloud or anything else
Downloaded ContactsBackup and fixed everything in literally a minute. My 2193 duplicated contacts got merged and they finally stopped annoying me.
Thanks to developers for this neat little tool that turns complicated into very, very simple !!

Worked flawlessly. Was able to export over 400 contacts from iPhone to iPad in less than a minute. Lets you select all contacts and can even export photos of the number as well as notes, birthdays and emails. Had to restart the iPad though for the numbers to be shown. Other than that great app.

This software is the best software I have come across when it comes to backing up your contacts.

Now that I have updated my iPhone to iOS 11, ContactsBackup needs an update as it doesnt work on iOS 11.

Will there be an update for ContactsBackup or not? as I didn’t see any update for a quite a long time.

This does what I want it to, fast, simply, and with options.
I can backup my iPhone contacts to a Zip file, or export to Excel, Csv (for gmail), Outlook, or VCard (for IOS) formats. I then choose email, Dropbox, or preview. Done.
Each choice takes less than 5 seconds to create the file and email.

Don't go any further, don't spend money. In under 5 minutes I just backed up and fully restored every contact with photo, notes, ringtone, etc. I needed to stop my phone from syncing with my work computer and this was INCREDIBLE. How have there not been more downloads?

I never write reviews, but this worked flawlessly. I couldn't get my contacts to transfer over from my iPhone to my iPad. Used ContactsBackup and in 1 minute, start to finish it was done perfectly. Excellent app. Couldn't have been easier.

I downloaded ContactsBackup (to transfer contacts from my iPad to a new iPhone) based on reviews, but it didn't work for me. I didn't copy all of my contacts and caused duplicates in each of my address books, which, as we all know, is a painstaking process to correct.

I contacted customer service over a month ago, and no one has had the courtesy to respond to my email.

Poor design and functionality - and worse, poor customer service.

Sorry to yell but I am lost without ContactsBackup. My contacts are usually safe with ContactsBackup. With each new phone, I simply load ContactsBackup, and then I upload my contact. I know they are all there. I am about to get a new phone and I still cannot update ContactsBackup. I’m frustrated to say the least. I will gladly “re-rate” this with a new review as soon as you fix it— so please fix it.

I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to export my contacts through iTunes and other online programs...then I remembered "there's probably an app for that!"

90 seconds later...DONE! And it merged those pesky duplicates. Do yourself a favor and download ContactsBackup. 👍👍

This is a must have App for any iPhone users. ContactsBackup saved me hours upon hours on transferring my and my wife's old iPhone contacts to our new iPhone 6+ and the best part about ContactsBackup is that it's FREE!!

This has turned out to be a lifesaver !! Since I downloaded the Kit, my phone has lost all my information 2 times. No worries be because all my contacts are stored safely waiting for me to upload.

I tried a different free app that had a 300 – contact limitation. I had over 400 contacts, and ContactsBackup didn't blink an eye. The other app wanted me to upgrade to actually export the data and ContactsBackup had much better export options. Great find!
