Yard Sale Treasure Map Reviews

Well this is just crap. Went to go put a yard sale notification on YardSaleTreasureMap for my church. When I noticed you have to pay for everything now including putting up a sale. I never got notification about this change. And the last update did not mention this either. This is deception. I’ve been using YardSaleTreasureMap for a year now. I will definitely would like an answer and a response by getting rid of the paid subscription. Otherwise I’m going to the better business bureau. If nothing changes I’m deleting YardSaleTreasureMap .

I've used YardSaleTreasureMap for years. It was great...BUT...now you'll need a subscription $$ to view sales on different days of the week. Shame on the developer for slipping this in with an update. These sales are mined free from Craigslist. It's not worth it for me to have to pay just to see them in map form. Don't include my sale in your previously great but now garbage app! I don't give my permission for you to use it secondhand from Craigslist. Your making money off the sale that I POSTED. Probably got an actionable legal case against this.

I like YardSaleTreasureMap but sales don’t get added in a timely manner. I’ll miss sales because of this. I’d check sales first thing in the morning and then if I check again later in the day sales are added that says it has started at 8am. Also, I would love if we could separate sales from their start up times. Maybe being able to filter them at 6am, 7am or 8am. It could save a ton of time when looking thru 100+ plus sales.

I love YardSaleTreasureMap for so many reasons. It organizes sales by day of the week and location. It also gives you the ability to mark sales as favorites by clicking the star icon which is great. I’d love to be able to prioritize my route by location or interest level. Currently, it designs your route for sales in the order it was clicked. The search feature is excellent as I can search for sales by items which saves time. The other irritant that I’m not sure is in their control is that the address of sales are wrong often a fair amount of the time. Overall a good app with the potential to be great.

Used to work well, but recently has taken a dump. YardSaleTreasureMap starts out great, showing a map with every sale around. But if I actually click on any of them to view details , the whole thing freezes. I have tried everything to make it work, but it simply does not hold up anymore. Too bad, because I used to love YardSaleTreasureMap. But now it is a piece of garbage.

YardSaleTreasureMap links into the Craigslist database to aggregate all the yard / garage / house sales in your area.
That just fine with me. YardSaleTreasureMap takes the hard work out of the picture.

The fun part is, you can use YardSaleTreasureMap to take a weekend afternoon to jump from sale to sale and check out the variety of items. Even if you don't wind up buying all that much, you still will have had a great time browsing and meeting interesting people along the way.

We’ve use Yard Sale Treasure Map for three years. This is third year we’ve felt it worth the subscription. Subscription adds multiple features that make our search for treasures a breeze.

This year we were having trouble linking both phones to the subscription. Developer was very responsive to our Facebook contact (and also replied to our website contact form entry). We sent screenshots of problem and he pointed us to a solution. He plans to change YardSaleTreasureMap and possibly update documentation to help users who are legally attempting to link devices to the subscriptions. He’s really working to make this the premier yard sale app on YardSaleTreasureMap Store.

It would be beneficial if each sale was required to list a complete address which includes the town. Many of the sales do not include the town and it is next to impossible to program a GPS to that location without the full address.

I paid my dues. YardSaleTreasureMap worked well in the past but suddenly stopped. I couldn’t choose and switch days, couldn’t add the ads from the local newspaper, couldn’t sync it with my iPhone and worst of all it wouldn’t optimize my garage sale route. None of the features worked, OK these things happen so I tried contacting yard sale developers but unfortunately if you don’t have Facebook you can’t. Now that I wrote a comment they did reach out and fixed the contact page so you are able to contact them without Facebook. Hooray, so I reached out now through the new contact page and hoping for the best.

The only thing about YardSaleTreasureMap that bugs me is the little arrow next to the day of the week at the top of the map. A normal person will tap the arrow to change days, but that doesn’t work! You have to tap the word! It's a little thing, but super annoying. 5 stars though because YardSaleTreasureMap itself is great!

I have used YardSaleTreasureMap for years now and it’s only gotten better!! I can peruse the sales the night before, mark them with various colored pins, and have my route already to go in the morning! It’s very accurate and I can even mark down if the sale location was accurate, etc. for other users to see.

I saw people driving their expensive cars doing garage sale! This is something to relax your mind! You can find something like you grandma had, and probably it is the one she had!! And you can have different talks at each place you stop. It’s nice!

I am unable to find if the paid version is a one time fee, monthly fee, or yearly fee. Also what are the differences between the paid version and the free version. Love YardSaleTreasureMap, my biggest concern is I am finding more and more folks listing their yard sales on Facebook marketplace. Would love to FBM integrated.

This is a great app. I do have a suggestion. I became paraplegic and confined to a wheelchair as a result of Bacterial meningitis last year. I have only recently started to drive again, and I'm so excited to be able to get out and go to yard sales once again. It would be so helpful to folks in my situation if there was a way for people to easily indicate if their sale is accessible or not. Thanks!

So generally I really like YardSaleTreasureMap and use it all the time but... the last few days all I get is a blank screen with a blue dot for my location and red dots where the sales are but no map, nothing but white. Also when I want to change the day of the week it won’t change. BTW I just renewed my subscription last month, I restarted my phone and YardSaleTreasureMap and still the same. So not too happy right now.

Have been using for over two years and would be lost without it. It shows all yard sales listed on Craigslist for the week and does so much more. It will optimize your route so you are not back tracking to sales you have already been to. Have never had YardSaleTreasureMap to freeze. I use a iPad and it works great. You won’t get the full benefits of YardSaleTreasureMap unless you pay the small fee for the paid version. You’ll be glad you did. No more than the cost of your morning cup of coffee.

I bought the premium version of YardSaleTreasureMap about two weeks ago, and the feature where it would show a checkmark when you’ve already looked at a yard sale was working then, but sometime from then to now, it’s not functioning properly.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling YardSaleTreasureMap , i think it’s something on the backend.

I didn’t want to rate this below five stars because it’s an amazing app, but I would like this to be fixed

On Thursday night I would like to be able to plan my route to see the sales on Friday, but it’s not possible. I have not been able to view the sales for Friday any day but Friday. It would also be nice if the default would open on the day it actually is. I have had Friday sales opened on a Friday only to have my phone time out and close. Then reopen YardSaleTreasureMap , and go to where a sale is suppose to be, only to find out it defaulted to Saturday and the sale was not open yet. Makes me so mad.

YardSaleTreasureMap is awesome, easy to use, and makes yard sale hopping fun and easy. I love that it allows me to choose the navigation system to use. The fact I can create my route and no where I am going makes everything work smoothly. The only thing I would suggest is to allow the user a chance to confirm their rating of the yard sale. I had no clue whether the information saved or not. Or for that matter if anyone could read the review. Other than that it’s super awesome and I have been sharing it with my friends and family. Thank you!

What can I say? It does everything it's supposed to do. Directions/Locations have always accurate for me (NorCal suburbs), and it's a good use of an afternoon without anything to do. Would recommend for anyone; it's easy to use, non-intrusive as it only wants your location (duh), and allows you to read through the craigslist posts in-app for easy previews.

Great free or pay for a subscription and get more features. This beats going on Craigslist and having to sort through all the yard sales to find the ones that are closest to you. Conveniently uploads all listings to one map so you can find what’s closest to you or even clusters of garage sales in further areas. Can even search by keywords! Excellent way to find what you are looking for. Downside is, if you don’t have a subscription, through the week you can only view Saturday until you reach Friday or Sunday when you can view those days. I may pay for a subscription for more features, I just wish i knew how much that is!

Another positive to YardSaleTreasureMap are the reviews. Next time I’m bored I’ll read through the negative 😂

If you subscribe you aren’t paying for YardSaleTreasureMap to view yard sale ads, you are paying for the technology they put together to pull these ads and map them and whatever other features YardSaleTreasureMap may have.

This is such a wonderful free app that shows you yard sales in all states in the area you chose. Click on the yard sale to navigate to the sale. There is color codes that you use to use a color to make the different days different colors. You can check mark or make invisible after you find the sale. The only problems are when the person marks the location wrong or leaves out part of address. In that case we can make the sale as being in the wrong location. They have thought of everything! We have fun all over the US when we are visiting our family by finding sales nearby!

I love YardSaleTreasureMap . It’s a GREAT APP! Had some problems with my subscription, but all is well now. My reason for 3 stars is because of “Lack of Communication”. You guys sent me the same response every time I reached out. I feel like it’s an automated response. Also, users check your “Junk” mail for reset emails from developers.

This app, while a great idea and convenient-ish, is a user nightmare. The website is even worse - with a million ads that take up more space than the site itself. Neither one is user friendly and it's difficult to figure out how to find the ad you've just posted, that the site says you haven't. I spent time today creating, updating and posting a community yard sale and can't find that information ANYWHERE. DO BETTER.

I live in San Diego California. We have sales year round because the weather allows it. But lately EVERYDAY shows Zero sales in my 20 mile radius. I know that is wrong because I have been getting them off of FB Marketplace Offer Up and Craigslist. While I know you don't deal with Craigslist anymore. I do know that some of those sales were listed on multiple sites. And they STILL DON'T SHOW UP. What's UP ? I am a subscriber.

Hello.. ever since upgraded my subscription I noticed that all yard sales listed in my area never have photos . Even though one person commented on adding more . Do you know how to rectify this ? Thank you
