I had this years ago on my old iPod touch and it lagged back then. Tried it again a couple of years later on my iPhone 4, still lagged. Decided to give it another shot on my brand new 6S Plus, and it still does not sync vocals or anything on the beat. Shame, it's a cool concept. Just wish it worked properly for me.

I am a huge fan of NIN, but I know for a fact Trent would not have approved this as official NIN merchandise. When you're laying out the beats, the samples play twice instead of once. If you match the actual song, it starts playing a loop of the beginning of the song instead of triggering the individual samples. D0TSEchoplex got a 2 as opposed to a 1 because of the idea of it. Better execution would have warranted a 4 or 5. The interface is pretty slick though.

but still has a few issues. As you are building the beat, it plays 2 hits simultaniously. It's not until you complete the entire beat that it starts to sound normal. I wouldn't even call it a set back because I've made some intersting drum outro's with this sound. Works much better now when the seperate samples are playing together now and the added samples are great. Almost perfect, but still a favorite since I downloaded the original. Keep up the great work. Now if only this could be done somehow with tool beats.....

It gets a bit weird as you add tracks to the beat, more with the bass and vocals than the guitar, they don't stay with the beat. I'd say that that's about it for any problems. It's a fun app, but I'd love to see an addition that could make it so you could change the tempo. I've managed to figure out the beats to a few other NIN songs, if i could change the tempo (and it's a long shot, but maybe even the drum sounds) it would be perfect.

It needs more functions, and just having the beginning of the song is no fun :(

Love this! I tell people all the time about how this song was performed live, now I can show them.

It begins to stutter when all the tracks are being played would be the only downside.

My iPod stops the count for like 2 seconds before it plays hope u fix it my friend has the old version really great I'm just rating the new update

Once the lag/timing issues are fixed, then D0TSEchoplex will be perfect!

It is a very, very impressive start to something that is pretty neat!

D0TSEchoplex is a great way to make one of NIN's toys available for public consumption. It's not w/o flaw, however the overall enjoyment derived from the current state of D0TSEchoplex outweighs any negative aspects.

I enjoy allowing my 3 and 4 year olds to lay down some beats. They are often better yhan mine!

It needs to show the progress of each vocal so you know when it ends and when to select a new one. Also limit sounds to prevent crashes.

This used to be a great app before the last. Just hoping they fix it. Giving it a score for what it used to be.
Btw how is Trent a cheepskate? He put an entire album online for free.

The apps on the iPhone keep getting better and better! D0TSEchoplex will only get better. A must buy for any NIN fan!! Now maybe they can add new drum sounds later, but this is a fun app!! Thanks!!!

I love the update, I can actually make the beat now. I actually almost had it before the update. I placed it in slot 2 and all I had to do was 1 snare.

There is no lag as others have mentioned. I just recreated the song perfectly. Go online and find video of the finished sequencer in concert, plug it into this and you will see. It's like a puZzle! amazing app!!

I don't get what lag these people are talking about, it plays fine. Super fun to mess with and show friends. Definitely like!

This is a lot of fun. Hopefully some of the lagging issues will be fixed in the next update, but it's still great as it stands! Can't beat free!

Had the iPhone for about a year now and this is the coolest app I've downloaded yet. A must have for any nin fan.

I love it!!! Maybe when there's an update they'll work out the guitar and bass bugs but the creating the beat is so awesome! I saw nine inch nails live last year at the forum and the show was amazing... Seeing josh freese making the beat on the screen was so cool now I can do it!!! You can too and hey it's free!!

I first downloaded D0TSEchoplex a few years ago, On my 1st gen iPod touch. I sol that and finally got an iPhone this year and revisited D0TSEchoplex. It's still fun and entertaining to put together the drums like Josh did during the LITS tour. Having the g/b/v tracks is a nice bonus too. Simple but worthwhile. I suspect many of the negative reviews regarding lag or duplicating samples is due to older devices. I've never had a problem. Great app!
