Good app but ONE HUGE mistake in translation. Please contract the developer to notify and request the correction. I don’t have a Twitter account so I’ll leave it to one of you. Here’s the error in translation of As-Saffat, verse 158: “ They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits).” The Arabic is CLEAR in mentioning JINN, and NOT angels and it mentions JINN twice yet the translation insists it is ANGELS and the commentary further states that: “ Though the word jinn is used here, it actually means angels as becomes evident from the verses that follow. (The word jinn literally means a "hidden creature".)”. NO….Allah is referring to JINN which is why he used the Arabic words “الجنة” and not “الملائكة”. There is no justification for the mistranslation whatsoever. Please contract the developer and insist this be corrected. Every other translation of the verse correctly uses the word Jinn and NOT angels.

QuranReader has been my favorite Quran app for the past ten years. I have used QuranReader and only QuranReader to read and listen to the Quran for ten years. I used to love it, but now they changed the style of the mushaf, without even giving the option to switch back or to choose which one you want to read with. I memorized the Quran on the original one, which is actually the more common mushaf style now adays. Now when I opened QuranReader about four days ago I was in shock to see that it self updated and now I am stuck and forced to read with this new style. I can not revise as it is not the same , I can’t even read without getting a headache because the ayahs now are on different pages. Why would you not allow us to change the style/ format of the mushaf font ?? Please see what you can do to resolve this. Other than that the new updates are great and are long overdue. We can finally rotate our phones and read sideways. They also added some new reciters and it’s a bit more user friendly than before. Please get back to me. jazakAllahokhaier

I really liked the old version of QuranReader. This update is missing two important features:

First: the mushaf style change has really made it hard to read/memorize. I choose QuranReader originally because the mushaf style was the same as the hard copy book I have had for 25 years (including having the name Allah is red) it throws me off now reading from here. Why can’t there be a choice?

Secondly: Landscape mode is no longer available. It was quite useful for me when I wanted to concentrate on just a few ayat. Why remove it? Overall it’s a good app but it should be common sense not to switch mushaf styles on people.

I wish the Persian script was also offered as an option because most of my friends and family read from that one. I love QuranReader and have recommended it many times, but this script is hard to read for those who haven't done so before.

I absolutely love QuranReader. It’s definitely my favorite Quran app, but it hasn’t been updated in years and is no longer supported by the latest iOS. I have looked online and found no alternative that has the same look and feel or functionality so am very disappointed. Any chance for an update so we can keep enjoying and using QuranReader ?

It use to be an amazning app 5 stars app
I’ve bought QuranReader long time ago, and when i made my ios 11 update QuranReader is’nt working anymore, why is that happening, and how so a purshased app havent got any update since 4 years, you should care more about your customers, you dont get people money and do not care about them after a while.
and for your support you dont deserve more then half star
Or zero if possible, but its quran so im have to gave it more, but its not for the developers, u made me purshase another quran app called “quran majeed”
I was going to gift QuranReader for too many people but this isnt happening unless this problem is solved.
Too bad...

Great Quran reading app. Only wish if u can choose who reads instead of having only one choice-reader.
I suggest that QuranReader developer add this feature. This way I won't need to open another app to listen to quran by another reciter.
Other than that QuranReader is great & user friendly

The developer has really approached QuranReader with a sincere intention to produce something beautiful and useful. I was amazed by the search function and the ease of finding the page numbers and Juz. I highly recommend QuranReader.

I’ve been using QuranReader since 2012 and really love QuranReader. But since it had not been updated for ios11 I can no longer use it. Please release and iOS 11 update or release another similar app. I dnt want to switch to another app.

This was the best iOS Quran comes three years ago and now that it has been updated, it’s my favorite again. Hi res and fits the new iphones screens perfectly while having a seamless interface. Great job developers masha’Allah!

For some reason every time I try to listen, it would exit QuranReader . Please fix the issue! Thanks! I’ve had QuranReader for so long and it never had any problems until now.

Been using QuranReader for years now. Recently updated to support iOS 11, and I’m extremely delighted. I just wish the developer could do a slight adjustment to the display so it’s more iPhone X friendly. Otherwise, it’s the best one out there!

When QuranReader was not available for iOS 11, I must have downloaded 10 Quran apps. None were as well done as QuranReader. It’s worth the price. I only wish they will return the landscape mode option and return the iPad app as well.

يوجد خطأ في تسلسل الاجزاء وخصوصاً نهاية الجزء السادس حيث ينتهي الجزء السادس في الصفحة 120 حيث يجب ان ينتهي الجزء السادس في الصفحة 121 ارجو إصلاح هذا الخطاء وبسرعة مع الشكر There is an error in the sequence of parts, especially The end of the sixth part ends with the sixth part of the page 120 where the sixth part should end on page 121 Please fix this mistake quickly Gratefully

Great app, easy to find the page you want with the search box. Only has Abdul Bausit as the reciter but it is one of his quicker speeds. You can choose exactly how many ayahs to recite, how many time to repeat each ayah in a group, and how many times to repeat the group (includes the number infinity as a choice).

I’ve had QuranReader for over 5 years. It has been maintained and kept up to date and in par with latest IOS releases. It has many features and multiple reciters along with tafseer for each verse presented in the simplest way possible. I can not ask for more!

I love the new update! It looks great. The new design looks great, modern, without feeling alienating. The new layout solves most of the issues the old version had. And it finally has a landscape mode and Dark Mode. The Juz’ finder is a welcome addition. This is hands down the best Quran app. Again.
I have 2 suggestions. A scroll bar for Landscape. I will also make the Juz’ marker different from that of the half Juz’ in the Juz’ finder.

Jazakum Allah khair for the excellent work. We really need to have the English translation option back, while in Arabic mode, since whenever we need to extract a translation for a verse, we must switch QuranReader to English mode, then look for the verse and copy the translation, then turn QuranReader back to Arabic mode. This option was available in the version before the major app upgrade. It really helps, since we constantly share verse translations with non-Arabic friends and family, whenever we are trying to refer to a Quranic verse. جزاكم الله خيراً

Please update the application, we paid for this application and we expect continuous updates and bug fixes. You didn’t update QuranReader since 4 years. This is an obligation to Quran since you made the best Quran app ever.

Please update the ipad version for the sake of Allah. We had paid for it for several years and it’s still not useable. Wallah at this stage I don’t mind paying more it if need be. Thus is because we have got used to it more than other Quran apps. Treat as urgent please.

Please upgrade QuranReader, I have been using QuranReader more frequently; ever since I upgraded my software to iOS 11.3 , QuranReader is no longer supported. It would be really nice if the developer bring QuranReader up to date. Jezakumullahu kheyiren, Allahu a’ilem. Thank you
