The preview makes seem like a voice changer but it’s only text. Kinda worthless, won’t trust this developer again.

I thought this actually talked, like the other 99 cent app. "talk like a pirate". SpeakinPirate is crappier than a gull on deck with the runs. Should have just stuck with the one I got.

Translates a few words like boy to lad. Does not do text to voice.

Can't even translate the word treasure to booty... As a matter of fact, it doesn't translate a majority of words into common pirate slang...AVOID!

It hardly translates anything. One can find better for free.

Don't spend your money, SpeakinPirate is useless.

Great to send funny notes to friends or just look up words

Haven't found as much use for this one as the other Perkins net apps, Sept of course for speak like a pirate day. But give this one to the kids and they'll have fun for hours.

Can you imagine how surprised my lake homeowner friends were when I started texting in Pirate? These friends belong to a group that carry out water balloon pirate raids on each other. The whole group dress the part too! Now they want the application too!
