From the other comments it’s obvious that the free trial is sneaky and dishonest. I’m not someone who purchases free trials for the sake of it. if I see the value in an app, I will make the purchase willingly. But I didn’t get what I expected out of it. RetroCam offers no flexibility in that you can’t even adjust the filters. For example if you don’t like how strong a filter is or you want to remove the dust from the photo, you can’t do that. Filter options are limited. For an app that is $10 surely I thought I’d get more value than this. There are free apps that do more. To make things worse. The free trial is a scam and after realizing in 1 day that I didn’t like RetroCam , they made it impossible to cancel so it’s day 2 and I’m stuck having to pay for an app you don’t even want! Yes I followed all instructions given on how to cancel, and it does not work! this app please do better. If you care at all about rapport or building an actual customer base, read these reviews and make something shake. I want my money back and I’more than dissatisfied.

I really love the themes & the frames! For quick on the go or new photographers, they already have a bunch of curated “themes” - by far best app I have downloaded in awhile. No, this is not paid. I just like RetroCam a lot :) and by rating it- I hope it stays. I wish I took the time out to do that for some of my other favorite apps that they are now gone.

I recently just got RetroCam today and I am if you use it so much is a such a great app for aesthetic filters that she didn’t have was all of the subscriptions but I am glad that you don’t have to pay to be able to use in class that gives you three filters you don’t have to pay for. RetroCam is 100% recommended from me. I love it so much and I will be using it a lot more.💖!!!!

Being a content creator, posting many photos throughout the day and weeks. I take a lot of photos and sometimes don’t feel like hard editing a lot of them to add that extra flair. That’s where RetroCam comes in super handy and it’s been my go to for over a year now.

Very well worth it. I used it just for the basic themes but I didn’t realize how much you could customize. You can customize the flares, frames, themes/custom theme settings, and more. Simple but there’s a lot to it. Very worth it as an avid Instagram lover! Gonna start using RetroCam much more for those photos

This is not what I was looking for in an app. It was not of service to what I personally needed. Instead of allowing you to see what RetroCam does, it REQUIRES you to get a three day free trial. I attempted many time to cancel the subscription before the three days and it would not allow me. The purchase came out yesterday on my account, I then was able to cancel the subscription. Unfortunately Apple is saying that I am not able to get a refund. If RetroCam was $5 or lower I wouldn’t care as much. But RetroCam cost $10 and I do not hav ANY use for it. As a college student, that $10 is very crucial to me. RetroCam is a scam.

RetroCam really give the authentic visual as you see from getting picture developed. I use it to breathe life into bad compositions or to add a little something extra to even better photos. The full version unlocks everything which is So Much! I’ll be renewing my subscription AGAIN!

I pay for it yearly for RetroCam and couple weeks it stoped working like I can’t even use any of the themes. It ask me to download them and when I try it won’t work! They already took my yearly subscription payment and can’t even use it!

RetroCam is one of the best photography apps I have ever gotten. The filters are amazing. You have to pay if you want other options but the free ones are great themselves. I really recommend RetroCam if you like to edit pictures in a cool way.❤️❤️

I think that the idea is amazing I really do but, I wish we had more stuff that wasn’t pro I get that you are trying to make some money but you made almost everything pro meaning that you have to pay for it so I know this is not something to be fixed I am just saying it is a bit tedious.

I just downloaded retro-cam and it’s already great!! I have only used it for 15 minutes and it is the best app that I have used for editing!! I recommend RetroCam to everyone if u want to lighten up ur pictures or anything else!!

RetroCam has had quite a few bugs since I downloaded it but nothing that couldn’t be resolved by a restart. After the last update, the themes disappeared (the icon/section is there but it’s just a blank menu when you tap it). I restarted RetroCam a couple of times and even uninstalled and reinstalled and they’re still gone. I’ve already paid for a year’s subscription so I hope they fix this soon.

it a little to early, i got the 3day trial but it charged. we'll see. I got a stalker blurring my pictures, i thought you ran your own camera? or did it just want access? thanks

I use RetroCam for adding pizzaz to my boring photos I use the free version so while there’s a lot of stuff that is locked the things that are open are useful to me and I don’t think I will be buying the full one anytime soon

Perfect for anyone who loves the look of film but not the hassle! It’s a great app I love all the effects! The only thing I would like to see is an option to save the combos of filters,textures, light, etc. kind of like preset! But otherwise fantastic!

I am a person that hates what I look like in photos but my husband wants some of me. RetroCam allows me to get the photo I am ok with or better that I love.

So far I have loved everything I have made.

There are a lot of features to pay for, but I use the free edition and there’s still plenty of options to make your pictures look perfectly retro!

It has everything VSCO provides in one tab, and then a whole range of more options to utilize.

RetroCam really helps me create ordinary pictures look amazing and I always post my edited pictures on instagram!!! I love RetroCam, it is a really helpful way to make pictures look different before and after.

Truly love the filters and option for editing photos a must have to make your photos pop

Downloading it is Free, which is what I wanted. But, once you're in, the only way to use it is to agree to a $9.99 a year subscription. If they had that in the purchase info right out of the gate and threatened to charge the $9.99 upon purchase, downloads would plummet. So I get the need for them to be sneaky. But it is still sneaky. So great for them: it's downloaded, which adds to their app cred. But it's getting deleted now. Just be blunt and say RetroCam isn't free. A free trial is corny.

Hi! I have found no way to get to my account settings. When I open RetroCam , it just shows me my camera roll and gives me no other options for navigating. Can you help me get to my settings?

I have tried many apps, and to get a good authentic vintage filter, RetroCam offers that. There are not many filters themes to choose from but the will work

RetroCam is most definitely a scam. It offers a 3 day “free” trial period, but takes $9.99 out of your account the same day you accept to the FREE trial. The point of a free trial is to see if you like RetroCam and want to continue using RetroCam after those 3 days. But that is definitely not what they do. It won’t let you cancel subscriptions and Apple cannot offer a refund. I’m a college student who pays for all her own things and this $10 was crucial for me.

Don’t bother on getting it unless you’re willing to pay money for any of the good effects. A waste of money and time, I suggest getting an app that’s free and doesn’t make you pay 10 dollars a month (which is way overpriced for some effects that you can just do on your own for free) if you want some good effects. Sorry, the effects are GOOD, but you can only use them unless you have money. What a shame.

RetroCam has really good filters that make my photos look really good, but there is trouble saving my edits. I’ve also noticed that bc it has access to my camera roll, even if I do screenshot the picture it still somehow deletes. It also slowed my phone down. In conclusion, pretty sketchhhhh 🤔

Wasted data downloading this ap. There’s only a 3 day free trial then it’s a monthly subscription. I’m sure the filters are great but I’m not going to waste money monthly for filters. Most apps have filters for free and some pro ones you got to pay for, y’all should consider doing that.

I opted for a free three day trial BUT I unable to try the effects (date as example) it keeps me in a loop of “try now” when I say yes it says I’m already signed up for the free three day trial, making me unable to try the effects at all. I want to buy RetroCam but not without a true 3 day trial. Disappointing.

Can you buy a packet for a one time pay and no monthly cost? I want the 8mm packet.

Applications states both “photo and video” for editing. However, when in RetroCam it gives me options to edit my videos.

Am I missing something here?
